We had a great time with a tour guide Danny, he was amasing! Walking in the streets, historical places, restaurants, markets...
Louisa was an excellent guide on the history tour of Merida. So much information packed into the three hours. Highly recommended.
Good info shared from a Mayan perspective. Denny was a personable guide and introduced us to areas we were not aware of. He also was well versed in much of the history of the Yucatán.
Denny was an excellent guide for our walking tour of Merida. We saw the historical sites as well as a few hidden gems. Would recommend the tour and Denny!
Guide was excellent. We learned a lot about history of Merida and the Yucatán Peninsula. The tour totally lived up to our expectations.
Our guide Denny was in contact with me this morning and met up with us as promised. He was very knowledgeable and pleasant to be with. It was a lovely walk
Luisa was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and really gave us a great experience. She was very helpful and made our remaining days even better. Most grateful.
We had a wonderful time. The tour was a great pace, and we learned a lot about the history of the city. We had our small children with us, and our guide Ivan was patient and friendly with us the whole time. They asked ahead of time what we would like to see on our trip, and we were super vague, but we did ask for a good ice cream spot and he delivered! He also had the foresight to end the tour near lots of restaurants with hungry kids. Thank you for teaching us about Merida!
We really enjoyed our downtown Mérida tour. The stops were very well chosen, giving us a great mix of history, culture, and local highlights. Even though the tour ended a bit earlier than the three hours stated, it still covered plenty of spots and offered a lot of interesting information. Our guide, Héctor, was excellent. His knowledge and subject-matter expertise were outstanding, and he was extremely willing and eager to help with any questions. His passion for Mérida truly made the experience memorable. Highly recommended!
Aaron was an excellent guide, sharing history and insights into this beautiful city as we made our way from the historic district to Paseo de Montejo. The stop along the way for a salbute at the local food stall was a great addition!
Luisa was very knowledgeable and took me to a number of museums and churches and galleries, as well as looked at local architecture
Great tour! Antonio was super knowledgeable and took us all around town, finishing off with a mini street food tour and lunch. Highly recommend.
Fun walking tour with Antonio. We went around the center, learned historical facts about the buildings and went to grab food in the market. Definitely recommend it.
Great trips, a lot of local tips and history, culture and politics, I recommend it, its fits all ages
We chose a tour of historic sites. Our tour guide (Areli) is very knowledgeable and passionate about the history of Merida. We visited churches, old mansions, and saw many fine examples of colonial architecture and into the 20th century. Great information and great tour. Very glad we took this tour to round out our first trip to Mexico.
This free walking tour could have been amazing, who knows, they never showed up. Their website does not say anything about being closed. The website let me reserve a free walking tour, sent an email confirmation, and even a reminder the day before. So I showed up as the email said, and the company never showed up. I emailed, called, and sent a message on WhatsApp, and no one ever answered or replied to let me know what was going on or apologize. I understand a lot of things are closed right now in Mérida because of Covid, but they should update their website to reflect that instead of allowing me to book a tour and waste my time without even any communication with me.
I strongly recommend this tour as it's very flexable, tailored & focused on what you want to see. Also it's a one on one with the tour guide who was Ivan - great guide. Ivan knows his history and places of interest. Tour ended with visit to DzalbayJazz bar, great people, music & beer. And a recommendation to restaurant El Apapapcha - really delicious food.
The tour allowed us to know much of the history of Merida in just 3 hours. Ivan, our guide, with extensive knowledge of each place we visited, complemented it with information and recommendations from other places to meet right there. In addition, Ivan, at all times provided us with a willingness to solve doubts and unforeseen requirements. We highly recommend this experience and particularly appreciate the magnificent attention of our guide.
Tour muy agradable, Héctor me dió mucha información sobre la ciudad de Mérida. También me ayudó con sugerencias de restaurantes y lugares para visitar
Top guided tour of Merida to get to know many aspects of the city - we can only recommend - Luisa was a wonderful guide 👍
