Villa Mercedes Merida, Curio Collection

Don’t waste your money here. The rooms are outdated, dirty, and poorly maintained. The furniture was stained, the coffee machine didn’t work, there was no ice machine, and the elevators were out of service. Lounge area out of service . This hotel does not come close to the standards expected from a Hilton property. Hilton should seriously reconsider allowing it to remain part of its collection until these serious problems are corrected.

Stayed here on original journey to Merida. Well done order hotel that makes it relevant and comfortable to hang out in. Love it so much that we Stayed here recently while work was be completed at the house. The girls love the pool and restaurants. The bar area is a nice hang.

In Merida for work and spent 4 days. Walking distance to the strip, convenience store and mall across the street. Great rooms, wonderful staff: Javier at the front and delightful check in staff at the counter. Knocking off a star on the room for the AWFUL chairs on my balcony. They were so uncomfortable, and nit even a little table out there. The fridge didnt keep things very cold either. Overall I'd still highly recommend.

A lot of mixed feeling about this location. The rooms are older in style and my first room had a strong scent of mold with mold stains noticeable over the white curtains. I requested a change and the second room was a lot better. The breakfast while diverse and contained a lot of local food but was not well made. Meats tend to be dry. Food was also inconsistently over seasoned or under seasoned. You will have a much better experience eating outside. The gym didn’t have a scale but did have a decent selection of equipment and machines for beginners. The location is a bit of a walk from the downtown area though there is a bus stop outside as well as ride sharing services. The thing that really frustrated the stay was the day before check-out, they sent a receipt for the final bill which made me panic return to the hotel worried only to find out my check-out day was the next day.
