Beautiful location, stunning views, amazing staff, excellent service, great pool, clean and spacious rooms. Yes the rooms are a little dated in style, but who cares. The beds are extremely comfortable, they are spacious and clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. The restaurant has great options, great drinks. The property has a pool, a spa, basketball courts and is super close to the Uxmal ruins. I would stay here again for sure!

The hotel is decent but has terrible service. I booked one of four available rooms and was told it was unavailable when I arrived. I was forced to pay $300 for an "upgrade" or else I couldn't stay at the hotel despite having paid for my room in advance. The ceiling in the bathroom leaked. Location is good for exploring the ruins but there are better run options nearby.
The location is amazing for going to the UXMAL ruins for when it opens because it’s only a few minutes down the road. The pool was nice and check-in was very easy. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. The Rooms are a bit rundown, cracks in the walls, balcony door, hard to open. The Internet didn’t work very much at all, even to watch Netflix on the TV . The first night I did have hot water in the shower, but the second night I did not. The door going out to my balcony was hard to open, but it was nice to have a balcony to sit on and listen to the birds in the morning. They did have a restaurant downstairs. The breakfast was OK. The staff were nice. I would only recommend staying for one night so you can go to the ruins when it opens.
The room was extremely outdated, as many others have mentioned. The whole property is not well maintained, which is quite sad because the pool area is comfortable and nice. The room itself is quite large and has a balcony, but there are only two chairs, no table and no patio furniture. What is the point of having a balcony if you can’t sit outside? The beds were comfortable, but that’s about it. There was no hot water at all, and despite complaining several times, the most we got was lukewarm water, which is not acceptable for a supposedly 4-star property. There were only two large towels for the three of us, no bath mat for the shower and no hand towel, which are very basic amenities. The staff was generally friendly, except for the woman at reception who was quite rude, as well as one of the waiters at the restaurant. The food we had at the restaurant was quite good and reasonably priced, but the whole atmosphere felt very awkward. The hotel seemed almost empty, there was no music in the restaurant, and it honestly felt like the hotel was about to close down. It is extremely sad because my mom had stayed at this hotel twice before, and we could clearly see how the lack of maintenance has led to its decline. To be honest, for the price we paid, we expected a much better experience. The pool, the restaurant staff and the beauty of the surroundings were good enough to somewhat make up for the disappointment, but we sincerely hope the hotel management takes action and renovates the property.
Rooms are clean but beds so hard we did not sleep well. Outside is looks ratty which is disappointing compared to the other similar places to stay except the pool area which was pretty, hot tub COLD.. No frig in our room and I had meds that needed to stay cold so had to upgrade to a Jr. Suite. Nothing special except the frig. Front desk guy was great! Friendly and helpful. Food was fairly good and reasonable drinks not good. Staff in general good. Views from the room spectacular. You can see the ruins.
