Stayed here with family while in Mérida for a business/vacation trip. I booked two separate reservations so we could have plenty of room to relax: one presidential suite and one high floor 2 queen room. With plenty of time before our arrival, Sergio reached out to me by email to offer an upgrade for the 2 queen room to include Regency Club Lounge access at a reduced rate (the suite already included it) as well as offering to get our two rooms to connect to each other if available. The hotel staff were friendly & courteous (including there being at least one person at the front desk who spoke English every time we needed to contact them), the rooms were spacious, the air conditioning worked very well, and the hotel is very modern & clean. The Italian restaurant on site is very tasty as well, and the bartenders are very attentive. Highly recommended if you're visiting Mérida in the Centro district and need a modern, clean place to stay.

The service is great, starting from the people outside in the taxi cabs.To the people in the front desk. I asked for a lady to come and give me a massage and they scheduled everything I just gave them the time I wanted it to sent to my room. We happened to be here for when Mexico played The Czech Republic, and we decided to watch it in the downstairs restaurant and it was a great surprise that for every goal that México scored, we got free beer.It was amazing.
Centrally located. Quiet. Rooftop pool and bar. Rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable. Staff helpful in getting transportation as needed.
This place is great! The breakfast options are way above any hotel in this price point. I keep reading about all of these awesome breakfast restaurants in Merida, and I've been back to Merida about 8-10 times over the past 5 years, and I never go try them because the breakfast at the hotel is amazing. The staff are very nice and on the whole do a great job. Some of these reviews crack me up. Y'all are out of your minds if you think this hotel needs to offer additional dining variety, this is a Cat 1 for 5k points a night or cash rate $100-$200 per night. It's not the Andaz Papagayo or Maui Regency. BTW I've staid at Regencies for 3x this cost that aren't as nice or as good. The room finishes are appropriate, and they don't junk it up with clutter as bad as most hotels that are "nicer" do. The 4 star review might be appropriate if this was priced as a cat 4 or 5 and $350/night, otherwise those reviewers have unrealistic expectations. I'm amazed at all of the different and high quality food options they do offer! Lots of local cuisine, plus the staples. Ditto on the kids area in the main restaurant- it's awesome. Location is excellent, easy to rent a car across the street, Uber in Merida is cheap and easy. Taxis are usually sitting by the hotel and only a little more than an Uber. Stroll along Paseo Montejo. We're heading back next month for second trip this year.
Pretty disappointing for a Hyatt. Website has not been updated and they still advertise they are close to the consulate, it’s about a 30 minute drive and not a short walk. Called before booking to verify they had a business center with printing capabilities, they confirmed but failed to mention that it was currently undergoing renovations and was not functioning in anyway. A/C was broken in the room and it didn’t get to a reasonable temperature until about 4am. The brunch was the only thing good about this hotel. The front desk tried their best but it really lacked the kind of service I expected. I understand they had a large convention going on, but I don’t think that justifies the lack of service.
