Destino Mio Mayan Jungle Retreat

A wonderful place to stay, though it is quite remote. The staff did an especially fantastic job; thank you all! If you are in the area, I highly recommend visiting.

I planned a bachelorette retreat here and we had such an amazing time! We stayed in Casa Adolfo, which was absolutely stunning and had great amenities. The grounds are beautiful and we loved the different activities planned for us. It was truly a magical experience and great escape from the city - the stars at night were breathtaking and the cenote was so much fun!

We had a really nice stay, very relaxing and immerse in the nature. The staff if really friendly and welcoming, special shout out to Kevin that made our dinners more pleasant :) I would recommend this place if you’re looking for something isolate and relaxing.

Destino Mio is more than a hotel. It’s a destination and an experience in itself. From the moment you arrive, you feel that this place is special. The grounds are breathtaking, immaculately maintained, and deeply rooted in respect for Mayan culture. Upon arrival, you’re welcomed with a traditional Mayan blessing ritual that immediately sets the tone: this is a place of connection, intention, and calm. We stayed in a glamping cabana nestled in the heart of the jungle, and waking up to the sound of birds each morning felt magical. The experience is thoughtfully curated, from watching the sunset at the stunning mirador (announced by the hauntingly beautiful sound of a caracol) to exploring the property’s three cenotes. We visited two of them and were blown away by how serene, private, and untouched they felt. What truly elevates Destino Mio, however, is its exceptional staff. Every person we met radiated pride, warmth, and genuine care. A heartfelt thank you to Manuel at the bar for his kindness and unforgettable margaritas, to Florencia at the spa for her soothing presence and gentle voice during meditation, and to Rafa, who guided us on a hike around the property and shared meaningful insights into Mayan traditions. I rarely leave reviews, but this is a place that deserves to be known. If you’re seeking peace, authenticity, and a truly unique experience, Destino Mio is something truly special. Thank you to the entire team! Our stay was unforgettable.
