•Review Camino Real, Merida, Mexico A Dreamy Oasis in the Heart of Merida – Pure Perfection! From the moment you step into the welcoming lobby of Camino Real Merida, you know you’ve arrived somewhere special. The holiday décor is an absolute feast for the eyes – breathtaking displays that transform the space into something magical (seriously stunning – see my photos!). This sets the tone for what can only be described as a dreamy escape wrapped in relaxed luxury. The Rooms: Cloud-Like Comfort Large, well-appointed rooms feel more like personal sanctuaries than hotel accommodations. The beds? Think cotton candy clouds with linens so sumptuous you’ll want to pack them in your suitcase. (Full transparency: the pillows were decent but not quite as “comfy” as the rest of the bedding – minor detail in an otherwise perfect sleep experience.) A lovely touch: quality in-room coffee to start your mornings right. Rooftop Pool Paradise & Fitness: The pool area perched atop the hotel offers delicious panoramic city views that make you feel like you’re floating above Merida. It’s the perfect spot to decompress and soak in the Yucatecan sunshine while sipping refreshing beverages from the rooftop bar. Whether you’re craving something tropical or simply need a perfectly chilled refreshment, the tasty drinks elevate the poolside experience to pure bliss. The gym is very sufficient for maintaining your workout routine – I used it every day and found everything I needed for a solid session. Breakfast Bliss & Gastronomical Heaven: Start your day with the extensive breakfast/brunch offerings that set you up perfectly for exploring Merida. And here’s where things get seriously sweet: the attached mall is a food lover’s dream! From the exquisite Bachour Café bakery to Mediterranean and Italian restaurants, every hunger pain finds its perfect remedy. The central dining area, draped in lush greenery and adorned with trees, creates an enchanting garden atmosphere that makes you want to linger for hours. It’s the ideal place to hang out and let the world slow down. The Real Magic: The Staff! But what truly elevates Camino Real Merida from excellent to exceptional is the stellar staff. So welcoming and genuinely kind, they make you feel less like a first-time guest and more like you’re visiting beloved relatives. That warmth transforms a hotel stay into something memorable and heartfelt. The Guest Service Agent even remembered my nephews who visited prior. 😊 The Verdict: Relaxed, luxurious vibes meet thoughtful hospitality in this perfect Merida retreat. Whether you’re exploring the vibrant city or simply savoring the hotel’s many delights, Camino Real Merida delivers an experience that’s nothing short of perfection. I definitely recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ #CaminoRealMerida #MeridaMexico #LuxuryTravel #YucatanGetaway #HotelReview #TravelMexico #DreamyEscape #MeridaHotels #TravelInStyle #MexicoTravel #Siggie_E

Have spend 5d at the hotel, professional trip. nice location and friendly staff, BUT absolute lack of sound proofing!! On the same topic, the restaurant is also very loud and makes you have a hard time during breakfasts...a pity for such a new hotel.
Wonderful hotel, nice modern rooms, and a great rooftop pool area. Breakfast was also excellent! We did not mind that it was on the outskirts of the city as the drive to the center is pretty easy. Also a lot of shops around. We missed a few things like coffee and tea in the room, the water bottles were very small and a requirement to pay immediately at the bar and restaurant instead of settling your bill afterwards. But overall very nice.
Very nice hotel. Well situated near retail stores, banks and restaurants all within walking distance. The rooms are clean, impeccable with updated decor. This hotel has all the gestures of a 5star hotel but lacks the 5 star experience. Staff is very reserved and inhospitable but perform their duties well. Not enough smiles and friendly greetings. Internet was not available to me because of the VPN I have on my laptop. Overall this is a very beautiful hotel it just lacks genuine hospitality.
Nice and modern hotel. Pretty new. Room was spacious. WC was ok, cozy shower. Friendly staff. A bit far from downtown and main tourist attractions. Service in the restaurant was very slow, especially during breakfast and should improve. Convenient room service. Overall, a good price for what you receive.
