Brilliant guide Davide. Lots of laughs but …never saw any ghosts.

Thoroughly enjoyed every minute of the deathly dark tour! Our guide, Daffyd, was highly entertaining and had everyone laughing from the start of the tour. He was also very informative and went into detail on each ghost story! The tour is not expensive but is absolutely worth it & we will definitely do this tour again!

An excellent, fun, atmospheric and fascinating hour and a half tour of York. Wrap up warm and immerse yourself in the history and storytelling.

This tour has been worth every penny! We had so much fun. It's was entertaining, funny and a little bit scary at times. We heard lots of good stories about the history and ghosts of York. Our guide has been incredible, kind and a little bit crazy in the best way! We'll be back! Tiny Hands High Five!

We had an absolutely fantastic time on the Deathly Dark Tour! Our guide, Dante, was simply excellent: witty, eccentric, wonderfully spooky and a brilliant storyteller. He made the whole experience entertaining, atmospheric and just the right amount of creepy. We enjoyed every minute of it, and I have to admit that when the tour ended and we continued wandering around York on our own, the streets suddenly felt a little scarier! 😂 A fantastic experience that made our visit to this beautiful, characterful city even more memorable. Highly recommended, especially if you love a good ghost story! And a special thank you to Dante for being such a brilliant guide! 👻🖤

We did the Deathly Dark tour of York on Halloween. Dalton was a great guide and very funny.

What a fabulous evening we had last Wednesday in the company of Dante. His delivery was spookily delicious, just the right amount of 'horror' with a generous offering of humour. It was the first ghost walk that my children and a friend had been on and they were enthralled! Dante was incredibly knowledgeable and had definitely done his research. The first stop was a shop which had been owned by my husband's family. At the end of the tour I questioned him and he was able to reel off the names of previous owners, with my husband's family amongst them. Impressive. A highly recommended tour. Would definitely do again.

We did this tour at 10pm on Halloween night…. It was exceptional we travelled from Liverpool and we were not disappointed. Dalton was a fabulous, funny, theatrical and truly made the tour so much fun! Highly recommend it. 😃

This was the second tour we’ve done with the Deathly gang. We opted for the late night adults only tour this time and it was great to hear more detailed, cheeky gruesomeness. We would definitely recommend. Thanks!

Our first ever ghost tour, Deffinatly not our last!!! Brilliant.!

Wasn’t entirely sure what to expect but this did not disappoint. Dafydd was hilarious. He really brought the stories to life. He kept both me and my 14 yr old entertained throughout. Only disappointment is that it seemed to go so fast and we’d have lived longer with more ghost stories!

We had a great time on the tour, Dolores was absolutely brilliant brought everything to life in a very informative but amusing way. She's an asset to your company. We learned so much and enjoyed the whole experience I would definitely recommend this to others.

Booked the evening tour, what can I say ... Dalton is a complete legend! Perfect mix of creepy storytelling, knowledge and very very funny. You could tell the kids all loved it as well. Some genuinely spooky locations, highly recommend the evening tour (especially when it's darker nights). Can't recommended highly enough, 10/10

Did the 9pm tour on 25th October with my daughter. I have done many ghost tours of York over the years but this was by far the best. Some of the stories were familiar to me but I have to say that it was refreshing to do a ghost walk without reference to the Romans in the Treasurers House. Our guide was Dorian Deathly and he was extremely informative and very entertaining, made even better by the timing of the deliveroo cyclist at a very opportune moment - if he sees this he will know what I mean. If in York and looking for a good ghost tour you could do worse than joining one with the Deathly Tour of York. Thanks Dorian for a memorable fun evening

Had an absolute ball - Dalton was absolutely fab, we absolutely loved him, told the stories well, interacts with the crowd, even though the weather wasn't the best we still had a laugh, would 100% recommend this tour ♥️

Great experience of the adults only tour with Dalton as our guide. It was both a very informative and hilarious tour, great for both residents and visitors of york. Despite the evening being cold, windy and wet, it was brilliantly executed and very enjoyable!! Group size was perfect as well as the length of the tour, and for the price it is 100% worth checking out particularly due to the talented guides like Dalton who make the experience very immersive and fun from the very beginning.

This tour is amazing. Hats off to Dante Deathly who was an absolute trooper and performed fabulously undeterred by the rain and wind brought by a passing storm... or was it a legion of ghosts? Dante was funny, game and informative. Just the right amount of spooky, grisly details and gallows humour. He also kept us safe and made sure we stuck together. Highly recommend doing it at night for the atmosphere.

Found it disappointing. Didnt feel engaged by the tour guide…..the group was huge at least 40 people. Weather didn’t help but it just was no where near as good as other tours we’ve been on in the past. We left half way through…..

A fantastic evening! We all; adults, kids (9 & 14) and dog, enjoyed the walk with Daphne. She was very welcoming, came over for a little chat before we started. Our little black pug Oscar ended up being the unexpected star of the show as there was a story about a black dog which the kids loved. She's a great story teller, is funny and engaged with everyone. Would highly recommend!

Fabulously entertaining. It was my first ghost tour but I have wanted to do one for ages. It was a great way to see York and Dr Dorian Deathly was a wonderful storyteller and had me chuckling on numerous occasions. Would definitely recommend.

Me and my partner went into their store on grape lane just to have a look and saw there was a 18+, 10pm tour, so we went for it not knowing what to expect! I’m so glad we did, not only was it genuinely interesting, but was a great way to see the city, and really capture the spooky season vibes we were looking for on our trip away! Our guide Dalton was an incredible story teller and has the perfect balance of being captivating while working in a sense of humour that made the whole experience genuinely entertaining. I even had the ‘honour’ of being a part of the final ghost story! Where I witnessed first hand and very intimately one of the scariest (or enjoyable for some) ways someone may ever encounter the supernatural. Genuinely great value for the price, especially considering that the 90 minute tour. I would say a must when visiting York!

We had Deloris and she was amazing. Really funny and made us all laugh. Very energetic and knew her stuff. The weather wasn’t the best (very windy) but she still made it a great experience. Definitely worth it

Absolutely brilliant and spooky tour. Myself and my partner loved it and a big shout out to our terrific tour guide Dalton, who took us through the haunted streets of York and with also a brilliant bit of comedy to go along. Would 100% recommend to couples, family’s or even if your on your own looking to get a spooky feel of York.

Well lets just say if you want a ghost tour go with this company our guide was Daria and wow was she amazing her theatrics are on point she really makes the tour come alive she's funny, witty, knowledgeable and has a magical way of making people join in on que lol , was an enjoyable 90 minutes would definitely book again. We loved the ghost stories told by Daria Deathly. A bit of comedy thrown in with lots of enthusiasm. Well worth the money. We were taken round different locations.

We done an October evening tour, guide was fabulous and funny. We had to Peel away from the group and missed the last half an house as my son was struggling with the rain but will definitely book again when next in York to experience the full trip. Thanks

We got there early and daria greeted us , we signed in and went on our way , what followed was a fun informative tour of locations of York, daria was fun and attentive to everyone on the tour , even though it was pouring with rain towards the back end of the tour she continued to make the tour fun , me and my partner really enjoyed the tour, massive thanks to daria for a great evening even if the weather, marred the evening towards the end definitely would recommend 🙏

We had such a fun time on this tour. Our guide was Dante who was incredible - he kept us all enthralled as we made our way round York in the dark. It was like a one-man play, but so much better than some actual plays I’ve seen. I 100% recommend this if you are in York - we were a party of adults and kids (aged 10-12) and we all loved it and the kids were quoting from the tour for the rest of the trip ‘TINY HANDS!’ 😁

This was the first ghost tour I’ve been on and it has set my expectations of others at a high level. Dalton was extremely entertaining and funny. Even the rain didn’t put a damper on this tour (pun intended). It was easy to find the starting point too.

Although very wet and rainy Dalton didn’t let it dampen his enthusiasm for a great creepy story telling evening! We thoroughly enjoyed it (despite the rain) well done Dalton it was great!!

This was a really fun tour for our family. Our guide (Dante Death) was a fantastic storyteller and very theatrical. He even handled a heckler that walked past our group cleverly and appropriately for our group that included children. The stories were told with humor and suspense. Overall, it was highly entertaining!

Davina Deathly was the absolute star of the show! Right out of the gate, before the tour even officially began, she set the mood with just a single look. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish—she kept us completely captivated the entire time. I can’t recommend her tour enough. Thank you for such a memorable experience!

Great tour, very gripping and a great way to see York at night with some spooky tales. Davina Deathly was our tour guide, so captivating, enticing and even a little scary. Well worth the money and felt like we were in safe hands. Especially considering we were a larger group. Would recommend to friends.

An amazing, entertaining, educational evening! Dafydd is an awesome guide combining theatre, comedy plus spookiness. Also, I was able to transfer my pre-booked tour to another evening as my plans had changed. Dede was efficient and so understanding so thank you Mrs Deathly.
