Very expensive for what you get. The room was very run down and the mattress on the bed needs to go to the nearest dump - it's totally knackered 🥺 Wallpaper peeling off in several places. Cooked breakfast was nice enough. But very little on offer for the continental buffet - no fruit salad, compote, pastries etc. Quite a walk into the city centre, but in a nice quiet street. The owner is lovely - friendly and welcoming. Overall, we were glad to only be staying one night.
A lovely, traditional bed and breakfast with a warm, homely feel to it. Very close to the city centre and down a nice, quiet street - we heard no noise at all at night, despite the town centre being busy. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the room had everything we needed. Breakfast was 10/10, and the service could not have been better. You will struggle to find a better host than Natalie!
Quite near to the train station and walkable distance to all major attractions and restaurants. Room was cozy but bathroom was too tiny for us as we both are a bit tall. Standard breakfast and sweet staff. Good for a nights stay to explore the city.
Absolutely lovely little place, dont expect the ritz but expect a clean, cosy atmosphere and Absolutely lovely gentleman who runs the place. We had the smallest room, but we were only staying one night its all we needed. Our shower and toilet were opposite our bedroom but we had a key. Room was chilly but had a radiator and an extra heater soon heated up. Cooked breakfast in the morning was lovely, actual fresh ground coffee is a smell worth waking upto. The owner was so lovely. Would definitely stay again.
A little misleading in terms of location, as it's a bit of a walk into the city centre, but to walk along the river at night was amazing. The room I booked was definitely smaller than I anticipated, but was very cosy, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Came with it's own private bathroom too. The host was fantastic and a genuinely warm, and friendly person. Full English breakfast was included, (greatly appreciated after a night out!😅), and within a dining room boasting it's own fireplace. The coffee served was definitely a highlight. Overall, a pleasant stay indeed.
