Our accommodations includes six ensuite double rooms, five ensuite triple rooms, four ensuite superior triple rooms, all of which vary in size and style, as well as the spacious Edwar Suite, located in a separate building. The Edwar Suite features a private bedroom and a comfortable living area with a double sofa bed and single sofa bed, making it an excellent choice for families or longer stays. All rooms include: •? Absolutely stunning guesthouse, the woman on the front desk was so welcoming and kind. The room itself was perfectly clean, and so much more than we were expecting. Alongside top notch facilities, the room included a kitchen space, sink, microwave, kettle, coffee machine, and genuinely decent hairdryer. We were staying here while my partner had exams at the university and it was so quiet on an evening he was able to work really well. I slept great, the bed was so comfortable and plenty of pillows. Would definitely recommend!! The room even had a pretty nice view despite being so close to a busy road (couldn’t even hear it from our room) :)
Stayed not long ago and had a lovely few days in York. Refurbishment had just been done and the room was lovely and finished to a high standard. Location was great. Easy to check in with instructions sent over ahead of time. A lovely walk along the river to get into the city. And there was a bus stop nearby, too.
I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel with my friend. The room was clean, comfortable, and in very good condition. There was also a small kitchenette area with a microwave, glasses, a fridge, and a sink, which was very useful and kept extremely clean.
Outside, there is a lovely small garden surrounded by trees where you can sit, relax, and have a good chat in a cool and peaceful setting.
The only thing I expected was breakfast, but it was not available during our stay. However, the staff were very friendly and explained that they had recently completed a full renovation of the hotel and are planning to introduce breakfast soon. The renovated place looks really good, and the staff seemed very positive about continuing to improve it.
Overall, we had a great stay and would happily visit again.
I went with my husband for stay in this hotel and room was very nice and clean. Kettle fridge everything inside with well furnished. The price was also cheaper compared to other hotels in York. We'll definitely come back for the stay when we visit York. Thank you so much for excellent service.❤️
We had a lovely stay at this hotel in York. Fantastic location, just a 20-minute walk into the city centre, or you can easily catch the bus which stops opposite the hotel. The staff were lovely, friendly, and really helpful throughout our stay.
The rooms were beautifully decorated and very well equipped, including a small kitchen area with tea and coffee facilities which was a great addition. We had a perfect stay and would definitely go back and recommend it to others visiting York.
