Yogyakarta: Borobudur Temple, Merapi Jeep Adventure & Prambanan

I had a wonderful experience on a day tour. Everything was very well organized. It was fascinating and relaxing. Sholi was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate, sharing interestingcultural insights that made each tour much more meaningful. I had enough time to explore all. It was not just a sightseeing tour, but a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the local culture, history, and traditions. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for an authentic, informative, and unforgettable experience.

Amazing temples! We went to a very nice view point to watch the volcano: authentic place, peaceful in nature with a good view of the volcano. Our driver, Sholi, was a joy to be around and very kind. So much that we booked another trip with him for the next day! Terima kasih banyak Sholi!

I had booked a driver/car for the day as I did not want to to be rushed at the sites U was visiting. With Sholi as a driver I hit the the jackpot: he was very kind and funny. We loved a lot through the long day visiting the temples of Borobudur and Prambanan as well as the volcano Merapi. Inbetween we had good chats, I learned about his life in Yogyakarta and he provided me with water, fruit and boiled eggs. He was always waiting for me at the entrances of the sights and gave me all the time I needed. On top, he helped me organise the tickets etc. I gad a fantastic day and definitely recommend Sholi as a flexible & reliable driver for anybody’s adventures!

I had a wonderful trip with Sholi as my guide and driver. He is a safe driver and was very knowledgeable about the surroundings, always ready to stop for pictures and an explanation. We talked about so many things- Javanese culture, education, history. Best tour I have had in a decade.

We were picked up at 4 AM today by our driver, Sholi, who was perfectly on time. He drove us safely to the volcano and was incredibly friendly throughout the journey. He even provided water and bananas as breakfast. His colleague, Imam, the jeep driver, was also very kind and great company, offering insightful information as a fantastic guide. We were pleasantly surprised with a private photoshoot during the sunrise at the volcano. Afterward, Sholi was waiting for us and drove us safely back to the hotel, even sharing some extra travel tips along the way. We are extremely grateful to both drivers – they are so passionate about what they do, and thanks to them, this excursion became a true highlight of our vacation. I went on a solo trip. Estri was my driver who took me to all these wonderful places. Great & enjoyable experience. Estri has been very helpful ( & great driver too).. Thanks Estri for the wonderful day out (despite the heavy rain towards the end of last tour at Prambanan). Deffo will visit Jogja again to try other adventures..

I had a great time visiting the sight of Prambanan, Borobudur and mount Merapi during my day. Sholi was very helpful and also brought me to a producer of Kopi Luwak. We also had some time to kill before Borobudur and visited the nearby Mendut temple and buddhist monastery, I strongly recommend!

Sholi was very kind and took great care of us while we were in Joja. He was on time, had a clean car, speak English, and very accommodating to our schedule. He made us very comfortable during our holiday. Highly recommend him if you are going to joja.

Sholi was a great driver, and helped us arrange everything. Despite the heavy traffic everywhere during Eid, we were still able to make it to everything we had planned without worry. He was also able to arrange an extra activity for the evening for us upon request, to see the ramayana ballet back in yogyakarta. We were so pleased we booked him again for the next day for our airport transport. We would use Sholi again on our next trip to the area!

We had a great day out with Sholi! He was very punctual and also an excellent driver. He made sure we never got lost, that we had the right tickets and knew where to go. He was very kind and friendly without being overbearing. I highly recommend taking the temples tour with him!

Sholi was excellent - spent 4 days with us - from airport pick up to drop off. We did many temples and other cultural visits. Temples are great - he arranged everything which meant we had a completely hassle free and very easy holiday. Definitely recommend

We booked a tour to Borobudur and Prambanan including Merapi. He was really nice during the entire tour. He accompanies us to the starting point of Borobudur guided tour. We wanted to spend more time on those two historical sites so we skipped Merapi. Definitely we’d like to go with him if we go to Merapi next time.

We had a great day seeing the two beautiful UNESCO Heritage Sites: Borobordur and Prambanan. We also had a private tour: cycling through the country side, a batik class and a sunset on the hill. Andri and Sholi are two great drivers/guides. Helpful and kind.

Sholi was our driver during our stay in Yogyakarta (Java). He was very nice and punctual anywhere we wanted to visit and was willing to show us new places such as the Luwak coffee place, which definitely was amazing. We found Sholi here by chance and we were very lucky to do so. We contacted him with very little notice, we had little time in the area and we wanted to do many things, but he solved everything perfectly, adapting to our needs and finally having a perfect day. We spent the day with Andri, our guide and the best driver in Java, punctual and friendly, who picked us up at the airport and took us on the route of the temples and Merapi, making everything very easy for us. As our flight was also delayed a little and we adjusted our schedules even more, we spent a very intense and very hard day in which we hardly even had time to eat due to all the activities we had, but at all times he was an excellent professional and thank you That's why we were able to do everything planned. They know exactly what they do and are one of the best professionals we found on our trip to Indonesia!
