Dayu from BorobundurSunrise was great driver for the day. Always on time and gets all the stuff of tickets, managing queues for you. Also brought us to a great lunch spot with Prambanan temple views. We got the borobundur (structure included, important) + trambanan temples tour 100% recommend

The entire tour was perfectly organized, from the hotel pick-up and ticket arrangements to all the transfers and the return journey. A special mention goes to our driver, Daju, who truly elevated the whole experience. He was extremely kind, attentive and thoughtful throughout the day, making sure we had everything we needed. He was also excellent company during the journey and consistently went the extra mile to make the day as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Of course, visiting Borobudur and Prambanan was a wonderful experience in itself, but the quality of the service—and especially Daju’s hospitality—made the day even more memorable. We had an amazing day, and a big part of that was thanks to Fajar. He is a fantastic driver and guide: friendly, spontaneous, easy to talk to, and always happy to answer any questions. During the drives he explained the history and background of the viewpoints and temples, and he also told us interesting things about Indonesia and daily life in Yogyakarta. He made the long drives enjoyable and relaxed. Our day started very early with a visit to Setumbu Hill for the sunrise. Unfortunately, we didn't get to see the sunrise because of the fog, but of course that's something nobody can control. After that we visited Borobudur Temple, which was absolutely stunning. The official temple guide was excellent and explained the history in a very interesting way. We learned so much and really enjoyed the experience. Next we went to Prambanan Temple, and once again the guide there (local temple guide) was fantastic. The stories and history were fascinating, and it made the visit much more meaningful than simply walking around the temple complex. At the end of the tour, Fajar even took us to a supermarket because we needed to buy a few things. He was more than happy to do this, and it saved us a lot of time. We really appreciated that extra effort. The tour costs around **€85**, which may sound like a lot at first. However, the entrance tickets alone cost us around €50 in total. That means the additional €35 was absolutely worth it for the comfortable private transportation, the excellent organization, and especially the personal service from Fajar. Everything was taken care of, so we could just relax and enjoy the day. We highly recommend this tour, and if you have the chance to go with Fajar, don't hesitate. Faisal was a great guide, really friendly and engaging and told us lots about Yogyakarta, Java and Indonesia. He made us feel very comfortable. The tour was well organised with tickets and guides at the temples giving us virtually no waiting time.

A day tour getting to see 2 renowned UNESCO Heritage Sites in a single day. It is a tour not to be missed for those who love historical sites and well worth it. Prambanan and Borubudur are simply awesome and lived up to their reputation. This tour came with hotel pick up and drop off. The guides were excellent and took their time to explain the history behind these 2 places.

Very good tour with an excellent guide

As part of our honeymoon, we arranged a tour to Borobudur sunrise and Prambanan temples. Our driver Bhimo managed the planned schedule of the day with absolute calm, presence and excellent professionalism, from pickup early morning to guiding us to the right entry paths, meet-ups after our guided tours onsite, and lunch at a local restaurant. We had a wonderful experience with the activities organized during our stay. Our driver, Tomo, kindly arranged very interesting and fun experiences for us. We especially enjoyed watching the sunrise at Borobudur Temple and had a fantastic time cycling through the countryside. Everything was perfectly organized, and Tomo was always helpful and attentive. Punctuality is the key given the distance and amount of heritage to cover is enormous. The service stated in the contract was delivered exactly. No other surprises. The stop over for local lunch for a tourist like me gives me a very rare opportunity to transact like a local. Thanks to Rama our driver for agreeing to the change of time and accommodating our long trip during Ramadan . Prambanan’s restored history is outstanding in its vastness and extreme care has gone into creating the temples as it stood in their era. Amazing to find most of the statues in pristine conditions .

We did a full day trip of Borobudur and Prambanan with BorobudurSunrise and our wonderful driver Fajar. The day was absolutely amazing, and was made so seamless thanks to Fajar - he made sure we knew where to go and what to do at the temples and in the drives in between he gave us extra information and showed us interesting things along the route! The fee covered the temple entrance and guides in each temple which was so good. We highly recommend this tour and hope you get Fajar as a driver as he is amazing!

We went to the Borobudur temple with Rama. Rama picked us up punctually and with a big smile from the cruise ship port. He had already communicated with us the evening before. Because of shorter time with our ship's schedule, we could not visit the other temple. But we did go to a beautiful Buddhist monastery, a Batik shop and a pottery village, as we had some extra time before returning to the ship. Rama made some suggestions taking in consideration our time constraints, and we chose what interested us most Rama took excellent care of us and we had a lot of fun with him and would love to have him as our guide if we ever come back to central Java.

Took the Borobudur and prambanan tour. Driver was great and very accommodating. The toot makes it hassle free, don’t have to book your own tickets. Everything taken care of. Excellent service

We booked a private tour to visit Borobudur and Prambanan Temples. Booking the tour with this agency was an excellent choice and we are glad we found this agency! Pras was our driver, he is very friendly, has an amazing energy and enthusiastic, we enjoyed every single minute of our tour with him. He picked us up from our hotel in Yogyakarta on time. The agency arranged everything for us, transportation, guides, entrance fees, meals, etc, so we didn’t have to do anything that day just enjoy the trip and the beautiful temples. Visit both temples and I choose the Batik Class. Batik Class wasn’t really good, the only let me do the front part of the waxing, they made the rest and the coloring. Just one color and pay 100 INR. The only had 2 designs. I wish a knew this so I could of do a separated Batik Class. Driver was ok.

I had the best time with Lufthi, he picked me up at 3am and was with me up until almost 17:00 like trooper and with the brightest personality. Any requests I had (I.e. coffee spot) he delivered. Thank you for making the tour so lovely!

Farjar was excellent. Timing was perfect. Great restaurants. On time. Couldn't have been better. Both Borobuder and Pernambera were worth the effort. You can't control the weather but it made the day better

We took the Sunrise, Volcano, Borbadour climb and Parambanan temple tour. I wanted to do this tour for long time. It came out to be better than expectation. The company provides good car and driver. Our driver Faisal Ramdani was so good. He guided us well. He was so gentle and kept smiling. He was able to answer all our queries. It was because of him we planned Jomblang and Pindul cave tour. Which also came out well. I wish the company and Dear Faisal All The Best 👍

We booked the tour to climb Borobudur for the sunrise and go to Prambanan afterwards. Nana was a great driver and could not have been more kind. If we come back, we hope to have him again and we can completely recommend his services. The Temples (especially Borobudur) were very impressive and absolutely worth the early rise. The included breakfast at the Hotel by Borobudur was also great.

We did the Borobudur Sunrise (via Punthuk Setumbu Hill) and Prambanan Tour with our tour guide Purnomo. It was a lovely day we really enjoyed it! Our tour guide Purnomo was a really nice lovely guy with always a big smile on his face. He made out experience way better with all his jokes and information about the city and culture!

The tour was amazing, Tomo our driver was so nice, we even had a sing a long in the car! It is all inclusive of entry tickets, which made the process smoother, no queuing etc

The guide in Borobodur and the local guide Ricco in Prambanan were very knowledgable and they made sure we had the best experience. Excellent service from first contact, to arranging the driver and pick up. All communication via WhatsApp with email confirmation made it easy to arrange our trip to Borobodur. Tickets were included to go up into the temple too. Driver was very informative and friendly, he accompanied us to the ticket booth and to wait for the guide. We would highly recommend this company if you needed an excursion.

We had a great experience with Borobodur Sunrise tours! We already were in contact with our driver the day before our trip, and we exchanged some ideas about what activities we could also undertake in the vicinity of Borobodur. They were very accommodating and tried to help, propose ideas and make sure that everything went smoothly. Also, communication in English was very good and we chatted about a range of topics. We ended up not only visiting Borobodur, but also the 'chicken church' and Merapi volcano. Of course the extra activities had to be paid for, but everything else (transport, parking, reservations, et cetera) was arranged for during the day - they could not have been more helpful. All in all: would recommend!

Communication with the company was excellent throughout the process, from an initial enquiry, to booking and answering further questions. Our guide Faiq was professional, engaging and looked after us well throughout the day. Breakfast at Menapj hill was plentiful and varied with several courses but let them know of any dietary requirements in advance. You get a good view of the sun coming up over Borobudur. We were provided with guides for both temples; at Borobudur you’re restricted to a 1 hour visit due to temple rules but at Prambanan there was plenty of time to explore at our leisure. This trip was a more enjoyable way to see the temples and travel at your own pace and in comfort, not limited by a large group tour.
