Yogyakarta Borobudur Climb Up And Prambanan Temples Sharing Tour

Two amazing locations and a very safe great driver. A Tip goes a very long way, the six other people I was with, didn't bother to give a tip to the two hard-working guides and my guess is the driver didn't get one either. This is so important and it only works if everyone gives a little bit of something. Fact that I was the only one tipping was shocking to me. And I was with all all Europeans. So please tip people. These people don't make a ton of money and your your €2-3 Euros goes a long way.

This was an excellent experience. Our driver was great and quite helpful, as was the student who accompanied us. We were lucky and had good weather. I would recommend this trip advisor tour to anyone.

Tumpak Sewu is not to be missed. We were picked up by our driver, Suryana who was punctual and he drove so well that I was asleep throughout the whole 3 hours journey. Prepare sandals or if not, u can rent them for 20,000. Toilets were clean and bring along a change of clothes as you will get wet. The climb down was steep but there are steps and its manageable. Most prefer to just see the main waterfalls and then back, but I am happy that our guide Riko pushed us to the gua tetes where we got to dip ourselves and were in a more quiet area. The cascading waterfall engulfs you and makes u feel so small. We were lucky as the place was not crowded and we managed to get beautiful shots of ourselves with the waterfalls as a backfround. This is definitely one of the highlights.

Excellent day trip—well organized with a relaxed pace. The guide was friendly and knowledgeable, and both Borobudur (climb up) and Prambanan were unforgettable. Great value; highly recommend.

If I could give 6 stars out of 5, I would. This company went above and beyond in terms of communication, execution, and delivery. The team is very responsive and accommodating to special requests. Our driver Azhari was stellar at coordinating everything and making sure we had a wonderful experience. The Bromo/Ijen tours were spectacular thanks to our tour guides (we had Sem who was awesome!). I am very impressed with this company. For me it was hassle free, had great accommodations, and ended up being superb value.

The trip was well organized and the timings were perfectly coordinated. The guide was humorous and knowledgeable. The transportation and drivers were excellent.

It was nice, the Tour Guide Mr. Didot has a lot of knowledge of the site and the other trivia related to Javanese culture and the Driver Mr. Jarot take us to Candi Prambanan & Borobudur then take us back home smoothly

It was such a fun tour with our guide Bagus and driver Nanda. I was positively surprised that we didn’t feel stressed by any time limits, felt like we got perfect amounts of time at each stop.

We had an absolutely amazing experience with YKWxplore, and we especially want to thank our guide Angga - we loved him! He was so kind, knowledgeable, and helpful throughout the whole journey. We originally only booked the tour to Mount lien, but ended up also seeing Mount Bromo with Angga - and it turned out to be the highlight of our trip! He offered to take us there, drove us safely the whole way, and even brought us to the airport afterwards since we were heading to Lombok. It was way more than just a tour - Angga truly went above and beyond. He gave us so many interesting insights and helped us with the planning every step of the way. This is a group tour with just a driver rather than a tour guide. The tour went smoothly because the group members were nice people, but the tour guide just drove us to the destination, and the temple's exclusive guide guided us. The tour guide never told us how long it would take to get to each facility, so we had to discuss it with the group members.

The guides make you enjoy the temples at the best. Good restaurant for lunch, also for European tourists. Excellent experience!!!

I went on the Candi Borobudur and Candi Prambaman tour yesterday with YKExplore it was awesome. There were three of us in the car, plus our driver Bhimo, an excellent driver and guide and he took great care of us. He also helped me with my Bahasa. We were able to clime to the penultimate level of Borobudur, and with the small group we were assigned to had about 15 minutes at the top of the structure to ourselves before the next group was scheduled. Two World Heritage Sites in one day was an experience I won’t forget. Thanks YKE

We took the Borobudur and Prambanan Temple Share Tour with Climb-up and couldn't have been more pleased. Our driver, Bemi, was absolutely wonderful, professional, kind, and an excellent driver. He explained everything very well, asked what we wanted to do for lunch, was prompt in adhering to the schedule, and was a true delight to speak with about all things Indonesia. The vehicle was extremely clean and the AC worked well. We would highly recommend this tour!

This trip was one of the best I’ve done in Indonesia, everything was really well organised, the hotels were amazing and the volcanoes were incredible. But best of all my guide Bima made the whole trip so enjoyable, he was knowledgeable and kind and made sure I had everything I needed. Shout out to Bima :)

A very good tour with guide Ihsan. I appreciate he did the recommendation to avoid the biggest heat, he gave time to enjoy the temples by ourselfs. I am very satisfied, he told us many interesting information about Yogya already, once we started the tour, and not focused only on the temples. Ihsan was very engaged, nice and helpful to everyone. He helped and answered questions not only related to the tour and temples. I recommend!

If you want a fun, educational day full of facts about Jogjakarta, you should go to driver Sutarman. Sutarman arrived well on time, even before the agreed time. He showed us from minute 1 what a cool guy he is. He knew how to teach us a lot and showed us many beautiful places (also some cool extras on top of the visit to the temples such as; a coffee shop of Kopi Luwak, a visit to a silver shop, showing us different plantations and a lunch in a picturesque place). He always gave us the choice whether we wanted to see something/stop somewhere, or rather not. We booked the tour on a Monday. On this day you can't go into the temples, but you can visit the temples. However, we didn't mind this at all and we didn't have the feeling that we were missing anything. On top of that, it was very quiet everywhere on Monday :). We definitely recommend the tour on Monday, just like driver Sutarman.

It was a good a decision to have done both temples in one day. Our driver and guide, Baghus, made the drive to and from and in between temples fly by and entertaining. It's great to have a guide that engages with his guests. We were four solo Travelers in the vehicle and with his knowledge, questions and ability to communicate he helped bring us all together like a family.

The experience was a very positive one. The temples give a great feeling of reflection and our driver was excellent. There are many moments for terrific photos and I will never forget the day.

We can only recommend doing the Borobudur temple climb and Prambanan temple with YKExplore! Both temples are truly amazing and absolutely worth the trip if you are in Yogyakarta or Central Java. Yovi, our driver, made the experience even better. He is a Jogja local and was a great guide: He explained in depth the history and culture of the region and the temples and answered all of questions about Jogja and Indonesia overall. His English is excellent, which helped as our Bahasa Indonesia is very limited. We would definitely be happy to take a tour with him again in the future! More information about our trip: We chose the group tour, which did not include a hotel pick-up but had a couple meeting points at convenient locations in Yogyakarta (we met in Prawirotaman, only a 15 min walk from our hotel). We had a group of four total, which was a good size though a bit bigger would have been fine as well. We booked ahead of time on Get Your Guide, but it’s also possible to book more last minute until the day before. The price for the tour is very fair in comparison to the other providers we saw both online and in the city. The price did not include the temple entry fees, which we paid in person the morning of the tour (you can pay either in cash or by card). The tour lasted overall about 8.5 hours, including a stop for lunch and being dropped off at our hotel at the end.

Yovi was a great tour guide, driver, and host. It was so nice learning about Yogyakarta from him- makes me wish I had taken the tour earlier in my trip. He made our group feel at home, cared for, and provided for. Would gladly look into another tour with this company.

It was a really good day visiting the temples and our driver Arief shared many useful and interesting information about Indonesia, Yogyakarta and the temples ! He brought us to a nice place to eat and we even stopped to try the special coffee from here
