Our guide Bima was fantastic. His communication and attention to detail made the day run smoothly from start to finish. He was very friendly and gave us lots of information about our surroundings. He also took some amazing photos and videos of us doing the activities. It was more like travelling with a friend than a guide. The activities were lots of fun and I would recommend this day trip to anyone.

If you’re planning a Jomblang Cave adventure, ask for Maxi! He honestly made our whole day so much easier and more enjoyable. He contacted us the day before to remind us what to bring and what not to bring, and he was already waiting in the lobby 20 minutes early. He was super polite, friendly, and incredibly attentive to details. For Jomblang Cave, he made sure we arrived very early and got us in line early. We were SECOND in line and even got ahead of a whole group! Trust me, this makes a big difference, so listen to Maxi and try to get there as early as possible. He also took awesome pictures and videos for us while we were being lowered into the cave and explained everything beforehand, so we always knew what to expect. We also want to give a big shoutout to Sam, our awesome river tubing guide, who was so much fun and made the tubing experience even better! After the cave adventure, he had cold Coca-Cola and cold towels ready for us, and after river tubing he even prepared plastic bags for our wet clothes. Those little details really showed how thoughtful he was. Maxi is super friendly and pleasant, and his English is very fluent, so communication was easy the entire day. We felt comfortable and well taken care of from start to finish. Highly recommend Maxi! If you’re booking a private driver for your Yogyakarta adventure, definitely ask for him! 😊

The cave and river tubing were worth it and a highlight of our trip to Jogja. Definitely bring a change of clothes, and it’s okay to wear shorts for women. River shoes can be provided for tubing.

Get Maxi as your guide !! he knows all the tips and tricks! we had him as our guide for 2 days and he was so thoughtful! even surprised us with our favortie sodas after the hike, everyone kept asking where we got them! bc of him and his suggestions on best times to go, we didnt have to stand an extra 1-2 hrs outside in the heat and humidity waiting our turn, and we were first in the cave! which left plenty of time for other activities! having a local guide like Maxi is invaluable and can make a trip excellent and unforgettable. P.S even though he was scared of heights we convinced him to go with us! as he had never been before and was making everyone from laugh and have a great time.

This is a great package. Our guide and friend Maxi was super helpful and an absolute joy to be with! He coordinated with us very well, made sure we did not have to wait long and that we were comfortable. One of us is a vegetarian, and Maxi made sure we did not have to worry about food options or misunderstandings on the dietary preferences. The Jamblong cave activity is physically more challenging, and the cave is very muddy and bit difficult to navigate. More suited for people seeking thrills and adventure. The Pindul cave tubing is not as physically demanding, but again make sure it is suitable from you. Reach out to Asmaradhana who can guide you through everything and provide necessary information. Definitely recommended!

We had a great tour of Jomblang and Pindul caves. The two caves work really well together: a bit of adrenaline and effort in the morning; super-relaxed in the afternoon. The team at Jomblang had a good routine in place to ensure that the rappel down into the cave was safe, and took this seriously, which we all appreciated. Our driver, Bima, was friendly and helpful, and happy to make quite specific recommendations when we had questions about activities outside of the tour. All of the organisation was dealt with simply and quickly over WhatsApp. I’d highly recommend Asmaradhana.

The whole day experience was awesome. Jomblang cave was beautiful. The decent into the cave had the best views, be aware for those afraid of heights. The cave floor is deep with mud, up to 20cm in parts. The view at the end is well worth the mud, the ray of light is beautiful! The river tubing was relaxing and a lot of fun, well worth it. My guide was totally amazing for the whole day. Helpful, prepared, explained everything to me, and organised things I did not have. He was the icing on the cake for the day!

Our guide, Bima, was incredible. Prompt, polite and so knowledgeable. We loved our caving at Jomblang and the river tubing at Pindul River. Would absolutely recommend. The kids had a chance to jump high off the edge into the river, travel to and from drop off was quick and efficient. 5 stars!

We had an amazing time on our day tour to Jomblang Cave and Pindul River Tubing, and a huge part of that was thanks to our guide, Hibza. From the moment he picked us up in the morning, he was incredibly friendly, patient, and made us feel comfortable and well taken care of throughout the entire day. He was always checking in to make sure we were okay, offering us water, helping with anything we needed, and making sure we were having fun. His positive energy and great sense of humor truly made the whole experience so much more memorable. Hibza also took lots of great photos and videos for us, so we could fully enjoy the moment and still have memories to look back on. He made sure we arrived early to Jomblang Cave, so we were among the first groups to enter – which made the experience even more special. The cave itself was absolutely breathtaking, and the whole adventure, including being lowered down into it, felt magical. Afterwards, we went to Pindul River for tubing, and that was just as fun – relaxing and beautiful, with lots of laughter. He handled all the organization, so we didn’t have to worry about anything. Overall, it was one of the best tours we’ve done, and Hibza played a huge role in that. We felt completely looked after, had so many laughs, and made memories that will last forever. Highly recommended!

Dani (our driver) was amazing. He was polite, he explained to us what we were seen on the route, the history of the region and some details regarding the religions and the gods. He was accommodating all day long. His car was super clean and comfortable. The cave was super hard since there was thick mud everywhere and it was hard to walk. It was exhausting and our clothes were covered with mud. So if you are planning to go wear clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty and smelly. The river tubbing was fun and relaxing. Really unique experience. They organized all the transportation between the hotel, the activities and back. Lunch was also included but it was a simple portion with rice meat and a bottle of water. It is a nice experience overall but be sure to have snacks with you and have extra strength since it is a long dynamic day.

We had a great and seamless time with Hibza. He was also helpful with recommendations for not only Yogyakarta but all of Indonesia. The trip was easy and fun! Definitely book this experience and request for Hibza!

This was our first tour in Yogyakarta. We started our day at Jamblong Cave by being lower into the cave (90 meters) by a complete pulley system (😱). While the entrance to the cave was lush and beautiful, once inside the cave things got very dark and slippery! We had the fortune of seeing the sun rays through the opening at the end of the cave. However, this is not a guarantee and I don’t think it would’ve been worth it if we would have not seen that. Caveat: we spent most of our time waiting to go down and up the cave. I would not do it again and I don’t know if I would recommend it. Then we went to Pindul River and loved it! Fun and refreshing with a splash of excitement! Totally recommended.

Jomblang cave was completely awe inspiring. The tubing in Pintung river was beautiful and fun to jump into the river from high points for those who wanted the adrenaline rush! Hibza was a fantastic guide and driver. As well as a comfortable, smooth and safe journey between the caves, Hibza went the extra mile for us, offering other stops we might like to make on the way including an amazing view of Yogyakarta and Mount Merapi. I would recommend this tour and Hibza especially very highly.

Our guide, Fery, was right on time and picked us up at 7am! He was great! So chilled and friendly, kind and informative, helped us take photos, and even took us to another place after the main tour was over! Jomblang cave was an experience! It looked exactly like the photos on social media! Really mind blowing and beautiful. Spent a while down there so Fery had to wait for us a while but he didn’t mind at all. After we went tubing at Pindul Cave - this was unexpectedly fun! The cave was awesome with all the giant stalactites and stalagmites, crystals and so many bats! The guides we had for this were so much fun, too! Got to jump off cliffs and platforms into the river - so relaxing and a wonderful experience. This was meant to be the end of the tour but we had asked about Pinus Penggar in the morning and to our surprise, Fery had taken us there right after! We thought it would be too dark but no, he persevered and we got great photos up there too! He didn’t have to but he went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. Highly recommend this tour, and ask for Fery if you want to be listened to and experience new things!

Sigit was an amazing guide. He was lots of fun, super patient, and took some great photos for us. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

We had Himawan as our driver and had a great time! Everything went smoothly, Himawan was very friends and gave us Some local recommendations for food.

We participated in this tour along our 11-day trip through Indonesia. Sigit picked us up from our hotel at 6:30am, which we were later appreciative of the early pick up time! There's a maximum of 80 total visitors for one excursion per day and the earlier you arrive the earlier you position to enter. Each group is assigned a number and pairs of 2 can descend at a time starting at 9:15am. Once about 30 visitors are at the bottom they start the hike to the cave entrance (5-7 minutes). From the drop point we continued down steps along a path into the cave which is marked with boards, but there’s a lot of slippery and sinking muddy sections. The main light area is only about a 10 minute walk. There are multiple locations to shoot different angles and guides offer to help take photos. We did see a snake that a guide was helping to relocate away from visitors. After about 30 minutes or so, additional people start showing up. You definitely want to be in the first wave, which is why we arrived so early and waited around. You do have to time the light beams right if it's a partly cloudy day. Without direct light, it’s quite steamy and humid. Lunch was chicken, rice noodle, white rice, fried tofu, and some chopped chicken and vegetables. We waited about 30 minutes after arriving at Pindal Cave, but after our guide returned and we were fitted with life vests and hopped into the mini pickup to arrive at our first of two launch pints. The first float went through a dark bat-infested cave with some nice formations, while the latter was a short mini truck ride to float and swim down a meandering river with a couple waterfalls and a 5 meter jump platform. Overall, it was a nice balance between the unique cave exploration of Jomblang and leisurely tube down the river.

Our guide Aditya was excellent throughout our 2 day trip with the company. Aditya was well versed with the history and was actively engaging us during the long drives. He recommended some good food/resturants and also took us to some authentic place for lunch. Jomblang cave trip was something that we can cherish for a long time. Crew took all required safety precautions while going down/up the cave. They took best photograhps as well. Pindul Cave and river tubing was more of a relaxing one which was good as well.

Hibza was the best Guide you can imagine. He really cared about making sure everything was just as I wanted and did a great job of keeping us away from the crowds. He made the whole experience feel special and personalized.

The driver Dani picked us up and he drove us to the Jomblang cave. He waited for us and when we were done, he drove us to the Pindul river tubing. It was a nice experiance and the driver Dani also made pictures for us at times we couldn’t do it ourselfs. He was really patient. When we were done he waited for us and never complained about how long we took. All people were really kind!! The experiance was soooo nice! I will post a picture and you can see for yourself 😁

Asmaradhana Borobudur Tours did a fantastic job in the planning and execution of the Jomblang Cave tour! The tour was planned and organised by Widi and Hibza drove and guided us before handing us over to the local staff of Jomblang Cave. Hibza established communication and shared details on the expectations for the day, our planned itinerary and items to bring the night before via WhatsApp. He was also very clear with the timings and gave good suggestions to ensure we will get a good queue number to enter the cave. Do note that Jomblang Cave has a quota each day and they work on a number system. If you get there late, you will have to wait for your turn or even worst fall out of the quota for the day. Thanks to Hibza, we were able to get queue number 1. The entire experience was both nerve wrecking and exciting and the views in the cave were absolutely stunning. The local staff were extremely friendly and ensured we were not only safe but also comfortable throughout the entire duration. They also assisted to take stunning photos inside the cave. People with injuries especially in the back and legs may want to re-consider this tour as it does require a bit of walking (approximately 300m) through mud and some climbing up and down through steps/slippery rocks. Overall, we had what I would describe as a once in a lifetime experience with good photos to bring back home. Lunch is provided and although it was a bit dry, it was honestly the best meal we had in Yogyakarta as we were extremely hungry after the physical exertion. Thank you brother Hibza and brother Widi and the entire Asmaradhana Borobudur Tours team for planning and executing this fantastic tour!

Me and my partner wanted to go to the Jomblang cave has one of our last day activities and since we already had a great experience with Asmaradhana Tours and our guide Hibza in the previous day we decided to book this adventure with them again, totally worth it everything went smoothly the cave was stunning, Hibza again was a 10 out of 10 took care of everything and left us with the best part, sit back and enjoy the experience.

The Jomblong Cave was amazing. We were picked up at our hotel and brought to the cave where we were fitted for a harness, helmet, and rubber boots. We were lowered down from the rim of the cave down 60 meters. It was fun & scary at the same time. We hiked through the 1st cave and saw the amazing sunlight rays beaming down as we entered the 2nd cave! It was definitely a WOW moment! The staff was great. They kept us relaxed and we felt safe both going down and back up. After the cave, we went for tubing trip down a river and through a cave. The tubing trip was just okay. It was very tame with the exception of a short bit of rapid water. Our driver was great, he played our favorite music and we talked about life in Yogyakarta. Traffic is crazy, but he navigated it all so smoothly. All in all it was a great day

Today I went on the Jomblang Cave and River Tubing experience and I had an amazing time! My driver and guide was Sigit, who was great fun and very friendly. The cab itself was incredible. After abseiling 60m into the cave entrance, a group of ten or so of us explored the dark depths of the cave before coming across and amazing sight of a huge hole overhead, allowing light to cast through into the cave beneath. It really was breathtaking, although very humid too! The river tubing was a lot of fun also and included two short trips. The first was a mellow ride through a cave tunnel, the second was on a river, which had a few fun rapids and there was a place to jump in, too. All in all it was a great experience and several of us were either on our own or in a couple and we soon became good friends. I couldn’t recommend it enough.

This was such an amazing trip to Jomblang Cave and Pindul Cave. Sigit was an excellent guide and took care of everything from beginning to end. He was very helpful and made my trip very enjoyable. The caves were out of this world, and the locals who guided us in each cave were lovely. They were very professional and I felt very safe. I highly recommend this trip to both Jomblang and Pindul caves, you should not miss out while in Yogyakarta.

The tour package was nice with magnificent nature- Jomblang cave experience and then water activity - Pindul tubing. Pindul tubing was really nice since it was a hot day, and long activity time. Especially our driver/guide Hendra was really humble and considerate, and helpful in recommending additional sites and restaurants. I really recommend you to designate him for your guide! What everyone should know though is that Jomblang cave can be only accessable with repelling rope. There is a long waiting time especially when exiting, and you would want a lot of water to not get dehydrated. This also means that you won't have a private guide but a group guide that is arranged by Jomblang cave personnels. And this applies to all tour packages. We didn't get any explanation about the cave which was disappointing, but many good photos taken by the Jomblang personnels.

It is a great experience for group of friends or family. A real adventure that is off the regular tour and into the heart of nature. The 60m drop to the cave is an experience by itself. It provides the “take me out of comfort” zone chance in a very safe way. The final reward is a true wonder of nature that we will remember for a long long time! The cave in large tire tubing was a leisurely journey that takes the daily city living out of us. There were lots of great dinner conversations after all the gaining some much great new experiences!

The trip was well planned with good pacing and fantastic destinations. Jomblang Cave is one of a kind place. A must visit in Yogyakarta. The staffs there are also very nice. You can see yhey love what they are doing with support from the local community. Our driver Sigit is friendly and does anything he can to support us in this tour. Sigit is a honest and trustworthy man. I'm glad we have him as our driver.

- The view of Jomblang Cave was amazing and memorable. We have enough time to take photos and videos. And the local guides kindly helped to take photos and videos for each person/group. It was very muddy road but I could manage to take photos with iPhone and DSLR. - The Pindul River Tubing was also nice. We enjoyed two routes and finally we could try water fall jumping. Needs to wear swim pants and sports shirt, and better to bring waterproof bag. - My driver, Mr. Muhammad Hibza, was really good. He assists me to join the cave and river tour. I could sleep whole time of driving.

Views were really worth it, amazing shots, all guides where very helpful and offered to take many pictures of you. Good when you are a solo traveler. My guides Hibza and Isham where lovely and attentive.

The trip was great! The Cave was spectacular and safe (please remember about taking socks with you). The tube river was cool, you could chill out and (optional) make a jump to the water. Our guide Eric was fantastic and did a great job.

Dani our guide speaks good English and it's very knowledgeable and funny. He kept us entrainment while driving us between the places. He went even extra mile took us to try coffe luwak from the original place although no part of the tour. Thanks you Dani ! The tour was also great !!!

Would recommend this tour! Ask for Atok if you can. Atok was incredibly helpful and friendly. The drive was very pleasant. He was knowledgeable about the locations we were going to and Indonesia in general. He even gave us helpful tips for the rest of our trip. At his suggestion we tried the kopi luwak coffee at a local place nearby and it was wonderful. As for the jomblan cave and river tubing, it was very well organized and systemic. Very easy to do too. The "ray of light" portion towards the end in the cave was gorgeous. If you want to, you can jump off small cliffs into the river and swim if you don't want to stay in a tube all the way through during the river tubing.

Atok made us feel so at home and had great conversation the whole time driving around - he has perfect English. Very safe driver too. The cave was one of the best experiences of my life and tubing was so much fun too! Terima Kasih Atok!
