The tour was great, Borubudor was as good as expected, and the local guide has been doing it for 40 years, and he know where to take good photots. Our driver Fajar was excellent, I changed my booking last minute to add prambanan temple, and he was able to keep up with all my request, we were a bit late on our pickup time, and he managed to get us to the destination on time.

Our day trip in Semarang was fantastic! Our tour guide was very professional, attentive and thoughtful throughout the whole journey. He took good care of every detail, gave clear introductions and always checked to make sure I was comfortable. Highly recommend! I really enjoyed this wonderful trip.

It was a great experience. Eko, our driver, was very punctual and very friendly. He spoke good English and was in constant touch with is over WhatsApp. He went over and beyond to accommodate all our requests. He picked us up from the hotel right on time, drive us to borobudur temple, helped us complete all the formalities for checking for the sunrise experience. After the sunrise tour, Eko was right there to pick us up. He then, at our request, took us to the other two Buddhist temples, Candi Pawon and Candi Mendut and a couple of art villages.

We joined the Borobudur Sunrise Tour at the Temple, and the experience was truly memorable. Waking up in the early hours was absolutely worth it, watching the sunrise from the temple itself, surrounded by the beautiful stupas and misty landscape, was breathtaking. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable and made the experience very enjoyable. Everything was well organised, from the early morning pickup to the temple visit and breakfast afterwards. We also appreciated the limited number of visitors, which made the experience feel peaceful and special. The whole tour was smooth and comfortable, and we never felt rushed. The sunrise, the ancient temple and the quiet morning atmosphere created a magical experience that we will remember for a long time. Thank you to the team for making our trip such a memorable one.

Great experience seeing the sun rise at Borobudur. The pick up at my hotel was very convenient and the drive to the temple was quick. The guide was informative and friendly, we had plenty of time to explore and were not rushed at all. It was nice to be there early where it wasn’t busy, and the included breakfast at the end was a nice bonus. I was also pleased with my driver, Fajar, who was helpful, kind, communicative, and efficient.

The experience was wonderful. Borobodur is an amazing sight to see. It was a bit cloudy that day, but that only made the landscape more ethereal, and the sun eventually rose clearly over Mt. Merapi. Beautiful! The Jeep tour was also super fun. My driver Rafli was new to the company and nervous about his English, but didn't have to be! He was extremely polite and courteous, got me everywhere safely and on time, and was eager to help with any issues I had. Great guy! I think this company's combo tours are particularly worthwhile, as the best way to organize seeing the top sights in Yogyakarta during your limited time there.

The logistics are perfectly organized, allowing you to enjoy this magnificent historical site without the usual crowds. It made the visit even more special. Then my after this amazing experience we had a super VIP breakfast, which was fantastic and in my case I continued my trip to Mt Merapi. I’d definitely recommend you to book with them, they will arrange this perfectly.

Seeing the sunrise from atop Borobudpur Temple was very special. There were a lot of other tourists, but 95% were very respectful of allowing you to capture photos without being in your line of sight for ages pulling all the poses for their uploads. The company I booked with provided a driver, BHIMO (yes, that's how he spells it!), who was fantastic. Very safe driver. Very pleasant company with a genuinely warm smile at all times. He made sure everything went very smoothly with this booking. Highly recommend BHIMO.

A fantastic experience – everything was organised to perfection, starting with our driver, the ever-so-friendly and punctual Eko. The sunrise at Borobudur Temple was well worth the early start. Prambanan was just as impressive, and our guide, Lintang, was extremely friendly and really knowledgeable about the history of the Hindu temple. Highly recommended!

Visiting the Borobudur Temple was a great experience. Despite not seeing the sunrise due to clouds, we enjoyed the time spend there a lot. We were guided by Fajar who took care of us during the whole trip. We really appreciated it and definitely recommend this experience with Fajar.

This is a definite must do trip. It is an early start but it's certainly worth it. Great communication from our guide Bhimo regarding pick up and he was happy to let us snooze in the car as he drove us to the site. He stayed with us on arrival to help us sort out the shoes and make sure we went off with the right group as it can be pretty busy. The trip itself was fantastic. Nothing can prepare you for the sight of the sun coming up over the mountains lighting up the temple. The breakfast at the site was great- something for everyone. Then our guide Bhimo was waiting for us when we came back to take us back to the hotel.

We had a lovely experience on the Borobudur sunrise trip from start to finish. Our driver, Dayu, was prompt, kind, and patient. He walked us through registration quickly and made sure we quickly connected with our tour guide at the temple. The trip up to the top was easy, even with our 6yo. The views were breathtaking and the whole experience was magical. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Yogyakarta!

An amazing experience seeing a human wonder with sunrise. Everything is taken care of (ticket to borobudur, transport, guide, breakfast...) so you just sit and enjoy the moment.Bring a jacket tho it gets cold. This day trip was fantastic! We booked it via Borobudur Sunrise Tour and everything went extremely smoothly. Our guide Bhimo contacted us a day before the trip via WhatsApp and provided all the details we needed. On the day of our trip he arrived more than punctual, drove us safely to the different temples, organised the entrance, showed us where to go, brought us to our tour guides and gave us necessary information. Bhimo was very friendly, kind and funny and we felt really cared for. I can only recommend this driver and organisation since they basically do everything for you and you just have to show up.

The whole experience was great! Started with a confirmation of the pick up time by the driver, and a what’s app message when they arrived at the house. Then a very smooth ride to the temple with a great explanation of what was coming and a bit of history. Hanif took great care of us at the resort. We loved that we were allowed further into up at the temple than the normal tours, with this being a VIP tour. The guide was great in explaining the entire history of the temple and the basics of Buddhism. At around 5.30 we were able to find a good photo spot for the sunrise and just sitting there was a very nice way of waking up. After the tour there was a really nice breakfast with an Indonesian buffet, fruit and croissants for those less keen on Indonesian food. On the way back we had the option to also go to a Buddhist monastery but we choose to go home to sleep (as this was our second morning in a row getting up at 3.00). Worth every penny! Great experience!!!

We had visited this surreal place for a 4 day trip. The experience of seeing the sun rise from the Borobodur temple precincts was an absolute life changing one. What makes am experience all the more memorable is when the associated activities that lead up to the real event is well taken care of. Our trip guides Borobodus sunrise did a fantastic job of that. Our guide Rama who drove us there was bang on time at the wee hours of 3 am waiting with a broad smile. Thank you so much to Mr.Tinton Arya for arranging everything for us so well. It was a trip worth every dime we paid for. I would recommend a trip to Borobudur at least once in a lifetime. It changes your perspective on every thing you have ever believed it.

Amazing day trip. Borobodur sunrise tours were very flexible when we had to change our plans last minute due to a delayed flight. They were able to rescue our holiday by also taking us to Prambanan and a city tour of Yogyakarta, after sunrise at Borobodur. Fajar was a fantastic guide. Highly recommended.

Great experience with our driver/guide Mr. Fajar. He was friendly, knowledgeable, on time, and was great with communicating with us on logistics, meetup points etc. Had a great conversation enroute on many differnt topics - we learned a ton about Indonesian culture, history and its people in the process. 100% recommend. (Oh and this goes without saying but the Borobudur sunrise trip is a must-not-miss here)

The tour was such a great day! My driver henrda was amazing, he always opened and closed the doors for me and picked me up right at the front so I didn't have to walk to far in the heat. Very clean car. The guides were all really knowledgeable and I learnt alot. The highlight was the sunrise at the temple - unforgettable!

We had an amazing morning at Borobudur. Easy pickup from our driver Hendra. Tickets were actually sold out on the official Borobudur website but these guys said they would get us tickets and they did! The temple is incredible. Highly recommend this guide for easy communication, pickup and booking!

Epic day, with some unforgettable views. Everything ran smoothly across the 3 activities. The temples at sunrise was unforgettable. Breakfast was pretty good and the tour guide had lots of facts. Jeep tour was fun, more about bouncing around and taking great photos, the tour guide was like having a photographer. The last temple again breathtaking, with a private tour guide. Best part was our tour guide Tomo. He made some extra stops, that really made the day, great learning about Indonesia. He could’nt have been more helpful and patient. The lunch stop was great food and very reasonable. Worth the money. Thanks Tomo!

Hendra was awesome - he drove me and personally assisted me to reach the Borobudur and Prambanan temple tours. Very smooth day, he gave me good advice, and went above and beyond to help me with what I needed. The tour guides for each place were separate. Prambanan tour guide was an optional separate cost, but worth it. Borobudur guide was randomly assigned and ok. It was cloudy so we didn’t get the perfect sunrise views. But overall very relaxed and smooth day. It can be a little pricey for a solo traveler but I’m glad I had a private driver/trip given such an early morning start.

I really enjoyed the whole experience of visiting this temple. From the start it was very easy as our driver came to pick us up on time from our hotel and explained everything clearly. The admission fee is totally worth it, especially with this company as they take full care of you. All you have to do is show up and enjoy! The length of visit was great and our driver told us to take our time to enjoy the breakfast after. Overall, an enjoyable experience and I really recommend this company as their driver make it a real personal experience.

We had a wonderful time to experience Borobudur temple in solitude and tranquil at sunrise. We were also lucky that the weather was pleasant throughout. I find the operator’s entire team to be exceptional in their service. From the whatsapp admin who provide prompt and helpful consultation, email admin (Tinton) who always kept me updated, to their travel partner (Faisal) who was kind, helpful and informative. 10 out of 10 would recommend!

Wonderful sunrise tour with Faisal. Communication beforehand with Tinton was also excellent -- polite, quick to respond, and very accommodating when we requested more time at the temples and a detour to the chicken church. Faisal was a great driver/guide -- easygoing, friendly, helpful, and supplied us with much-appreciated bottles of water after our hot tours. We liked him so much we asked him if we could also hire him to take us to the airport after the tour, and he went above and beyond by accompanying us into the airport to communicate with personnel and help us with our luggage issues. Absolutely recommend doing a tour with this company!

It was wonderfu! The sunrise was amazing (of course there’s no guarantee of that). Driver picked me up at hotel and was prompt and very friendly. The experience is well organized and tickets are limited so best to book ahead. You will be assigned to a guide once you are there and will be in a small group. Stopped at Bukit Rhema on the way back. Odd place but quirky and interesting. Recommend using Borobadur Sunrise. Communication was great and it was well organized.

The tour was simply amazing. I can’t believe how many great shots I got- just by using my IPhone (using a horizontal assister was a great help). To top it off the quality breakfast was a great surprise. My driver Eko was sensational. He helped me with my Bahasa Indonesia, was a safe driver and was also very enjoyable to spend time with.

Ekos vehicle was very comfy and played english music helping us to relax. Jono was probably the best English speaking guide on our 4 month trip. He could teach in England!

Had a wonderful tour with Borobudur Sunrise at the temple. The booking process was easy through the operator’s website and was confirmed promptly. My driver, Eko, was professional, friendly, eager to help, and spoke good English. He picked me up from my hotel in the Malioboro area at 3:30am to get me to the temple in good time for the sunrise tour. The local guide positioned us well for sunrise viewing from the highest accessible level of the temple. After the sunrise, he took us around to see some of the amazing reliefs and Buddha statues. The tour ended with a very welcome buffet breakfast at the temple, after which Eko got me back to the hotel. Definitely worth the early morning start. I appreciated that the Borobudur Sunrise tour package seamlessly included everything including transportation and the Borobudur temple sunrise viewing tickets.

We joined the sunrise tour at Borobudur and Prambanan temples tour, and Faisal was our guide. The company was very accommodating to our request to add a visit to the Chicken Church and more time at Prambanan temples. Faisal went above and beyond to make the tour seamless and comfortable, for example giving us more water after a very hot day. He speaks excellent English and both guides at the temples were great. The airlines have lost our luggages and we had to go YIA ourselves to retrieve them. We hired Faisal after the tour for transfer to and from the airport, and he helped us find the way to the baggage office and communicating with the airport security. It really made the process a lot less stressful. I would highly recommend this company and Faisal!

A very well organized tour with one guide for about 10 visitors. Not crowded. Beautiful vistas; lovely ambience. One of the most efficient tours I have been on. Super helpful staff and guides.
