Borobudur Climb-up & Prambanan Day Trip All Inclusive

Great day visit to Borobudur. It’s about an hour from central Jogya and our driver was excellent, navigating the challenging traffic with skill and good humour. She took us through the ticketing etc and made sure we were all set for the next tour. The Temple is massive and the tour guide explained the history very well. It was of course hot & humid but that didn’t detract from an excellent experience.

Atok was a Great driver and a Guide - providing us with so much Information. Everything was excellently organized - the afternoon tour was relaxed and the sun down at Prambanan is really incredible. A good alternative to the sun rise tours.

We had a wonderful experience visiting both Buddhist and Hindu temple. All guides were excellent and our driver Brian was brilliant. The whole tour was very enjoyable.

Very helpful driver/tour guide (Fery). Made our experience much better. Driver is punctual, picking you up on time, collets the ticket beforehand and guide you throughout the whole tour. He also took us to authentic Indonesian restaurants nearby Prambanan Temple which was delicious and serves tasty seafood

We absolutely loved the tour. It ended up being just the two of us as a couple with the guide, which made the experience even more special. The temples are beautiful and quite far from Yogyakarta, so having transportation arranged for you is really convenient. Our guide, Haidar, was incredibly friendly, explained many things in detail, and answered all of our questions.

It was such an amazing experience! The temples were breathtaking. Brian was also incredibly helpful and on time in the morning. He also gave food suggestions and went out of his way to look up some other local crafts I could shop in the area. Highly recommend!

We have Antoni as driver for our one day trip around Yogyakarta. He was very professional and safe driving and speaks very very good English. Whole trip was well organized. If there is option to go for jeep drive under Mnt Merapi, my advise is to start with this activity as early as possible to have chance for clear sky /in afternoon it is usually cloudy/

We did the sunrise tour to Borobudur Temple, followed by a visit to Prambanan Temple, and it was easily one of the highlights of our time in Yogyakarta. Watching the sunrise from the top of Borobudur is something truly special. There’s a quiet, almost mystical atmosphere up there that’s hard to put into words. The access groups are small enough to enjoy the temple without feeling rushed or overwhelmed, which makes a huge difference. After the sunrise, we were treated to an excellent buffet-style breakfast at a nearby center — varied, well-organized, and much better than expected. The temples themselves are simply breathtaking, but what really elevated the experience was our guide, Yuni. He picked us up very early at our accommodation and made the entire day flow effortlessly. During the drives, he shared stories and insights not only about the temples, but also about daily life, culture, and traditions in Yogyakarta. He even stopped to buy us local fruit so we could try it — a small gesture that says a lot. At Prambanan, Yuni guided us through the complex with clear explanations and genuine enthusiasm, always attentive and easy to talk to. He didn’t just guide us from point A to B — he genuinely made the day better. All in all, this is an absolute must-do in Yogyakarta. Highly recommended — and if possible, do it with Yuni.

Visiting Borobudur has been on my list for a long time and I’m glad I finally got the chance to visit. Yuni picked me up for the sunrise hike; we made a short stop at Ayam Gereja and then we went to Borobudur where he helped me get through the entrance procedures and waited with me for the temple guide. As a solo female traveller, I felt well taken care of at all times and he made sure I was safe. During the car ride, we also talked about cultural practices in Java. After the tour I asked for a recommendation for lunch and he dropped me off at a delicious nasi padang place.

The tour was great, the guide had very good English and hospitality. The Burbadur temple climb was a great experience and the restaurant he took us us lunch was also very nice with yummy food.

Very good Tour. Easy Communication via WhatsApp and they even were able to change our Pick-up time on short notice. Great Service. It also was the only Tour we could find that included the temple Tickets at a fair price that was close to the original price from the temple itself. Everything was well organized. Our driver Yuni was perfectly on time and flexible about the pick-up and drop-off locations. He provided a lot of useful information, redeemed our Tickets at the temple and guided us straight through all stations at the temple until we reached our tour group and the local guide so that we didn't had to figure out what to do where on our own and thus didn't lose any time there. After the Tour at the temple he was already waiting for us at the Exit and took us back to the city. The ride was safe, smooth and interesting. We definitely can recommend this tour.

We joined the “Borobudur Climb & Prambanan Temple” day tour from Yogyakarta, and it was a fantastic experience. Yuni was our guide, and he communicated with us clearly and promptly in advance, which made planning very smooth. He picked us up at Yogyakarta International Airport, took us to Borobudur and Prambanan for sightseeing, and everything was well organized and on time. On the way back, he kindly stopped by Yogyakarta city so we could do a bit of sightseeing in town before dropping us off at our hotel near Yogyakarta International Airport again. That extra flexibility was really appreciated. Yuni was incredibly friendly and shared lots of explanations and interesting background during the visits, which made the trip even more enjoyable. His English is also very fluent, so communication was easy throughout the day. Highly recommended if you want a reliable and enjoyable day trip to Borobudur and Prambanan.

I went to Borodudur, it is an amazing place to go ... The food and drink is easy to find, especially chicken they have a delicious chicken menus to choose and I really like it...
