First warning sign was the price quoted was different to their website. But oh well we proceeded anyway. I had expensive tickets booked for 8.30 temple climb. I asked them to pick up at 6.15. They said 6.45 would be fine. I agreed. 6.45 NO DRIVER 7.00 NO DRIVER call them message them no response. 7.15 NO DRIVER. They never turned up never contacted me not even an apology. You cannot rely on this service. But it is easy to avoid this. At 7.15 I walked down the road spoke with a taxi driver who did the whole trip for less than they quoted. ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini. Thus is an important warning for people who rely on these reviews. Claude told me this was a reliable service. It is not. Don't trust hiredriver.id. do not recommend this service.

Didik was our driver and he is absolutely fantastic! In fact, so good that we use him again the next day for another packages he took great care of us and our whole family is so impressed with him. And in fact, he is the only tour guide we used this trip that never ask us to give him a review, and because of that, even more reason for me to spend some time and compliment him. Didik, you are awesome! Thank you. Another area that I like to comment on is the 2nd trip that we signed up to do Pindul Cave via this provider.. is TOTALLY AWSOME! Even more impressive is... Pindul Cave requires some hiking and trecking (adventurous stuffs) and we have a 76 year old doing it with us, though she is fit, she still needs some watching over and helping, and the 2 gentlemen that took us for the tour pay good attention to her, help her out whever necessary. She was reluctant to go on this little adventure at first, but she ended up beaming from it and it is all because of the 2 gentlemen that took great care of her the whole journey. All in all, awesome experience!

Our driver Didik was punctual, professional, and spoke English well. We had a planned itinerary and he was able to advise on timing at each location so we can make use of the full day. He was knowledgeable about Prambanan, Borobudur, and even knew exactly where the Kedung Kayang waterfall/Merapi volcano viewpoint was. He took pictures for us and was patient with our time for photos. At the temples, he personally took us into the entrance to purchase or exchange tickets. We went for the entire 12 hour day and he was pleasant throughout. A great thanks To Mr. Didik for taking us!

We booked a driver via a speedy WhatsApp conversation. Communication was simple and seamless. We booked before arriving in Indonesia and any questions were answered almost immediately via WhatsApp. We hired a driver for 12 hours, which started with a pickup at 02:30am from our hotel in Yogyakarta. We drove to the sunrise tour at Borobudur and then on to Prambanan. We still had lots of time to spare at the end of our trips but decided to head back to the hotel, the driver would have happily continued taking us wherever we wanted and made some local recommendations for places we might enjoy. He also gave good tips and information on local food and drink options and delicacies. The driver was absolutely brilliant. The car was big, clean, comfortable and he was friendly, professional, accommodating and a safe and sensible driver. The price was incredibly reasonable (700k total paid in cash after the trip) and the driver was so very helpful. He always escorted us to the entrances to ensure we had no issues with tickets/access. This was not necessary but a very kind and genuine touch. I would highly recommend this service to anyone requiring transport around the area. Please do support this local business!

We completed a four-day tour with a very demanding itinerary, often requiring late-night drives and extremely early starts. Throughout the entire trip, our driver, Yosi, was exceptional. Despite the challenging schedule, he never complained about the early wake-ups and consistently went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. He even helped us arrange activities that we hadn’t realized needed to be booked in advance. I wholeheartedly recommend these tour guides.

Ariya was a great driver and guide for the 3 days we were with him. He went above and beyond, like for the movement of our luggage, having a vehicle up front and even coming in to look for us. He has good knowledge of the areas and the nature around (although Suroloyo peak and nglinggo tea plantation he hasn't heard of, but many haven't either). He also makes a good photographer for you, and has a steady hand and ideas, like making a video by circling around you. His English is also pretty good and knows lots of American pop culture references. The cherries on top was how he somehow found a clear camera lens guard a few cm in diameter in the forest that I dropped. Also, I loved how in the end he pulled up to some stranger's house full of rambutan trees and got some for us. He chats a lot with random locals and you can tell people are exceptionally friendly. Overall the coordinator was very helpful and responsive on Whatsapp. I have spoken at length with him over the course of weeks. In the end they were quite accommodating, like with some last minute changes of plans, and also with how we were dropped off near Borobudur at 10:30 pm and we're picked up again at 4 am. The only cons were it is pricier than other places, but they were also one of the few places offering a driver for 12 hours. The only "bad" advice was from the coordinator to go to Suroloyo peak with a 3 am pickup from our city center hostel. This led us going through some really treacherous and narrow roads in the dark and only to arrive an hour early. It was also wet season so didn't see much of a sunrise (because of clouds). Even if so to me it seems to be more of a sunset spot. To be fair, many other places were suggested first though like Setumbu Hills or the Mangunan Fruit Garden. Overall a fun and memorable time with many pictures to show for it! I'm glad I have connected with these folks.

I first met Baiyu in August 2019, when he arranged a two-day trip for my friend and me. It was a memorable experience and we managed to visit most of Yogyakarta’s must-see attractions. Fast forward to today, I returned with my family for another two-day trip, this time arranged by my wife. Once again, we visited many of the key sights. When it came to doing a little shopping for souvenirs, he patiently drove me to several places when I could not find what I was looking for, even to the extent of following me into Beringharjo Market to ask directions from the local stall owners. i did not know this company, just was looking for a cheap option as a solo traveler to see the lava of mt merapi at night. Of course in nature it always depends on luck, but we were lucky and could see the lava from a nuce place many times. My funny and safly driver tuggi pucked me up and took care about everything. We visited Yogyakarta to see Prambanan Temple and the iconic Borobudur Temple, and booked a private car and driver through Viator. We were assigned Ariya, and he was absolutely exceptional. Great price considering the trip is for 12 hours. Yosi was our driver for 2 days moving from Yogyakarta and surrounding areas. The service is great, punctual, comfortable vehicle and safe driving. Yosi went above and beyond. Helping with getting tickets, walking us around the places, taking pictures for us. We have no hesitation for lunch and dinner as he has recommended some nice restaurants. We used hired the drivers for moving from Yogyakarta to Mount Bromo on day 1. Then from Bromo to Kawah Ijen on day 2. Overall, it was a 13 hours long trip and we have been very happy to use this service. The schedule is organized in advance, and the drivers text you personally and are always on time and flexible for requests. All this for a very cheap price!

Hired these guys for 3 days whilst in Yogyakarta, and they were superb! Tino, our driver, was spot on time every day. He waa courteous, friendly and very helpful. He got us to Jamblong caves in the first group so we had the best of the photo opportunities and then on to cave tubing. We managed both temples and a sunrise in one day without feeling rushed. He then took us to Jepara, our next destination. All of this and he took some great photos for us. Genuine 5 syar and very reasonable price. Well done chaps!
