Yogyakarta Marriott Hotel

Best experience I’ve had internationally, and I’ve travelled to many places. Staff were excellent. Even though Marriott is a large corporation with thousands of properties, this hotel felt like a small boutique hotel. Staff remembered my name and room number, checked in numerous times to make sure everything was okay. We received handwritten notes welcoming us to the hotel and had some pastries waiting for us upon entering the room. At breakfast, one of the chefs called Dayat made an amazing yogurt desert and made sure my wife and I were happy with the food. We had a Premier King and the room was very spacious. Hotel is 5 minute walk to nearby mall, so that was very convenient. Even though we stayed for one night, it was a memorable experience and this hotel should serve as a standard for other hotels and how they treat their guests.

This was our second stay at Yogyakarta Marriott Hotel, this time with our sister-in-law who was in Yogyakarta on a business trip. Once again, our family had a truly wonderful experience. One of the hotel’s biggest strengths is its strategic location. Being directly connected to Pakuwon Mall Jogja makes everything incredibly convenient, whether for dining, shopping, or simply spending time with the family. The facilities are excellent. The gym is well-equipped for those who enjoy working out, while the swimming pool is spacious and very kid-friendly, making it perfect for families with children. The restaurant also deserves high praise for its quality and variety. What truly sets Yogyakarta Marriott Hotel apart is its service excellence. Every member of the team, from the front desk, concierge, restaurant staff, gym staff, and everyone else we interacted with was consistently warm, professional, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Their hospitality made us feel valued throughout our stay. The only feedback we would like to share is regarding the parking area and directional signage. The parking guidance can be quite confusing for first-time visitors. We noticed that we, along with a few other vehicles, accidentally drove against the intended traffic flow because the directional signs were not clear enough. We hope the hotel can improve the parking signage to make the arrival experience smoother for future guests. We truly had a very pleasant stay at Yogyakarta Marriott Hotel and look forward to coming back on our next trip to Yogyakarta. Keep up the great work!

We stayed here for 4 days and 3 nights, and overall, we had a great experience. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and very family-friendly, especially if you're traveling with kids. The food was delicious, and the staff were always friendly and helpful. We did have one issue during our stay and had to make a complaint, but the duty manager handled it professionally and resolved it very quickly. We really appreciated how responsive they were. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider coming back in the future.

One of the best Marriott properties I've stayed in. Rooms were very clean, service was fantastic! The staff were very attentive, and the food was amazing. My friends and I agreed this was one of the best hotel breakfast because they delivered on: variety, quality and taste. Even in room dining fried rice was one of the best. As a bonvoy member I definjtely felt appreciated and recognised. Only one thing, when I asked for connecting room the reservation team told me that would incur extra charges (which made me feel unpleasant as a bonvoy member). Luckily the concierge was accommodating enough to arrange the connecting room for me.
