We’ve stayed in multiple hotels / guest houses during a 15-day span in Indonesia and this was clearly the worst accommodation we’ve had. * There’s a mild smell of moisture in the room. Using the A/C does help cover it but its definitely there. * There were yellow stains in the towels and bedsheets. We did complain about it to the receptionist. He re-assured us they would change them and that this is a one-off. However, the following day, after changing them, the new ones also had stains on them. In my mind this clearly says that basically all their sheets and towels have these stains and that they don’t bother replacing them. * The toilet cover had dead ants when we entered the room. They were cleaned after the first day but we saw more afterwards - probably dropping from the air vents in the bathroom. * The (shared) kitchen utensils and drawers were dirty and we saw ants in the shared kitchen cupboards. On a positive note: * The furniture in the common spaces look pretty cool * The WiFi coverage and bandwidth were great both in the common spaces and in the room Overall they didn’t take hygiene seriously. and it’s really disappointing especially given the great reviews and the expectations this had set prior to our arrival.

the moment i touch my foot there, im already in love. the service, the utilities, the staff, the and hospitality were top of the class. the staff at the front counter were very helpful and politr. if you are looking for indonesian vibe, this is the perfect place. got fridge to store your stuff, unlimited free drinking water, swimming pool, 5 charging pot (got 2 next to your bed omg heavennn. big samsung tv with channel & internet (not like typical bare minimum hotel tv). cant find any flaw here. chill area outside your room were also very good. location 💯. 1000X WORTH THE PRICE. (i take the deluxe room/second best room. (this is not a paid review, this from the heart of malaysian who stayed here). and i will be back for sure!!!!
This is a beautiful homestay kind of environment. Very friendly and warm staff. Lovely pool area and the room we stayed in had direct pool access. The issue with this place is the noise, not from the road but from other guests. We could hear everything from next door and from the communal areas. The hotel needs to enforce a quiet policy from 10pm and then we would stay again. (Hope this is useful feedback to the management).
Tucked right in the heart of the tourist area, this place feels like a true hidden gem. Located within the Keraton complex, the atmosphere is calm and shaded, making the stay genuinely comfortable. The vintage vibe is strong, yet still feels warm and inviting. The surroundings are peaceful, but you’re still very close to major points of interest. Great choice for families visiting Jogja, especially with a swimming pool available. There’s also a lovely, breezy pendopo as a public space to relax. The staff are friendly and genuinely helpful, and surprisingly, the price is still very reasonable for what you get. Definitely a place worth coming back to.
An artistic sanctuary in a historic location. Omah Siliran Heritage offers a quiet, well-preserved atmosphere inside Njeron Beteng. The redesign is beautiful and full of character. Great amenities for families, too—the pool was a big hit with the kids to escape the afternoon heat!
