Stayed here for one night for my birthday, and it was a fantastic experience. I was kindly given a room upgrade, and the lounge team decorated the room beautifully. A special mention to W Lounge Supervisor 陈玥, who made me feel extremely welcomed and went out of her way to assist me with a parcel delivery. Truly exceptional service!
I have stayed already twice in W Guonghzou . Things I love about it is spacious well organized rooms and apartments . Fantastic location in very walkable area . You can find on site pool , gym and salon which is also amazing and stylists there are great too . Breakfast has incredible selection whether you prefer intercontinental meals or traditional Chinese Cousine . Very modern style of hotel .
Really enjoyed my stay here. The room was clean, and the staff were always friendly, helpful, and available whenever I needed something. The hotel also has a nice pool, sauna, and steam room, which were great after a long day. The location is excellent if you’re staying in Guangzhou’s modern business district, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The hotel itself is starting to show its age, but that seems fairly common even among many 5-star hotels in China. A special thanks to Clark, our concierge, who spoke excellent English and was incredibly welcoming throughout our stay. I’d definitely recommend this hotel
Stayed at W Guangzhou partly for biz and partly for weekend.. We want to particularly highlight their breakfast service: staff went above and beyond to accommodate our request.. when we noticed no egg tarts on the buffet, they rushed to bake them FRESH — though we only asked for two, they made six and kept checking in to let us know they’d be ready soon 🌷 This thoughtful touch alone elevated our entire stay experience from 4 to 5 stars 🌟 While the hotel was built some years ago, our room was modern and stylish probably becoz of the makeover…. some reviews mentioned a moldy smell, luckily we had no such issue at all during our stay 😁😁😁 We found the Tianhe District location unbeatable — Michelin restaurants nearby, a lively European/Arabic street with cafés, bars and restaurants next door, easy subway access through the opposite mall… PLUS a large massage parlour just across the street offering movies and great-value treatment in a private room…🤩 Check‑in and check‑out, however, can feel confusing, with the concierge desks arranged in a circle.. we were unsure where to queue…😅😅😅
The hospitality shown by Holan Deng, Welcome Relations Manager at W Guangzhou, was truly off the charts. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, he went above and beyond to make sure every part of our stay was seamless and enjoyable. He is genuinely one of the nicest people you could meet, professional, attentive, and incredibly thoughtful. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and his personal touch made a huge difference to our overall experience. He turned a great hotel stay into a fantastic one. An absolute credit to the W Guangzhou and someone who clearly takes pride in delivering world class service. Highly appreciated and highly recommended.
