The service is impeccable at this hotel! One of the most comfortable and enjoyable stays we’ve had. Every staff member is well versed in multiple key languages (English, Mandarin and Cantonese), and are so friendly and accommodating. Rooms are beautiful and clean with wonderful views of the city skyline. Definitely recommend that others stay here in the future.
Had a lovely 2 night stay at this hotel while visiting for sight seeing. The staff were absolutely lovely and really went above and beyond. On arrival, Faust was such a delight and had some great recommendations and advice. The views from the hotel are incredible, so it’s totally worth booking a table at the bar for the evening. The breakfast had a wide variety and was very tasty. The only negative of the stay was that the $100 Amex credit could not be used in the bar or against alcoholic drinks in general. This is a limitation I have never seen before at any other hotel, and was a bit disappointing. Overall though, I would definitely stay here again. And probably will, very soon.
Our first St. Regis experience was absolute perfection. Such an amazing hotel to celebrate a special occasion. Because the rooms are located on very high floors, you can expect fantastic views from practically any room. We were lucky to get a sunrise facing suite, and watching the sunrise from the top of the world was breathtaking. During the champagne ritual, my husband had the unique honor of participating, making it an unforgettable memory for us. They even packed the champagne bottle head in a lovely box as a souvenir! It is also a very kid friendly hotel, offering thoughtful touches like kids' bath amenities. If you have Marriott Bonvoy Platinum+ status, this hotel is a must try. The evening happy hour is held on the 100th floor(the very top floor) exclusively for elite members, making you truly feel like a valued elite guest. The swimming pool offered a stunning view, and with a spa pool right next to it, it was wonderful to let our child swim while relaxing in the spa. Breakfast was flawless, offering a huge variety with exceptional taste. Above all, the staff were so warm and attentive. It is truly the ideal hotel for a special celebration.
Had a 3 night stay August 2026 and overall had a very enjoyable stay. The service throughout the hotel was excellent, our room was beautifully maintained, and the food was consistently outstanding. We also found the staff to be professional, attentive, and welcoming. Only issue was with the delivery robots- on multiple occasions, a robot was positioned in the center of the elevator and could not be moved, leaving insufficient room for us to enter with our baby stroller. It may be worth considering whether they can be programmed to remain to one side, yield to guests when elevator space is limited, or temporarily exit when guests with strollers, wheelchairs, or substantial luggage need the space.
We just finished our stay with The St Regis Shenzhen for a birthday celebration and I wanted to write while everything is still fresh. Check-in and check-out were both so smooth, and the upgrade to a larger suite was a wonderful surprise. All the communications can be done on wechat! The extra space and the view made the whole trip feel special. For a birthday, nothing beats a comfortable stay with that outlook. The breakfast buffet is something I’ll highly recommend. The variety, the taste, and eating it with that view — it was worth every penny. I genuinely loved it. The pool area was excellent too, particularly having the heated jacuzzi in the same area. Our younger daughter spent hours in it. We would have loved to try the spa, but the schedule was too packed this time. Next visit, definitely. A special thank you to the butler team, especially Heather and Alice. They were quick with every request and made us feel properly looked after. By the way, as Hong Kongers, we found it surprisingly easy to reach the hotel from LoHu. The half-sheltered walkway made the train journey very straightforward from the border, and Didi was another convenient option (A one-way ride would cost around $15-25 RMB)
