She went above and beyond her responsibilities to ensure that my clients and I were well-accommodated with all necessary food and refreshments. I work for the largest healthcare companies in the country and arrived on 9/13/26 for a stay until 10/2/26. I'd noticed throughout my stay that often times there is no one at the front desk. I was informed the week prior from the AVP that I will need to extend my stay until approx 10/30/26. On 9/28/26 I proceeded to the front desk before heading off for work, only to find no one was there. There was no bell to alert personnel that customers were in need of assisrance and no one repsonded to "Hello". When maintenance crew saw that I was standing there for quite some time, they proceeded to find someone to assist. But still I waited. After approx 12 min had passed, i decided to leave. The maintenane guy found me at my car and said that someone had arrived at front desk. When i returned, i was greeted with no morning salutations ... nor a smile. I asked if she was the manager and she said no. I requested to speak to one. I was still left to wait for another 8 min before Drew appeared aka Mr Manager from hell!. Again, no smile or friendly salutations. When i explained that I wanted to extend my stay for approx 1 month and no one was here to take care of me and he said "how can I help you?" I said did you just hear what I said? Yes. How can I help you? There were no apologies nor professional courtesy extended my way Finally, i said it appears that you care less about the time that i spent waiting at an empty front desk so I guess I'll take my business to the Hilton instead to which he responded, "ok". And simply walked away. I am currently speaking to our Travel Expense Team in efforts to remove this hotel from our company's list of lodging choices. Totally unacceptable. ZERO stars from me! #humilitycangoalongway

The Shenzhen Marriott Hotel Nanshan has a fantastic location, situated right in the Coastal City shopping district, making shopping and leisure incredibly convenient. The hotel is very modern, and with its stunning sky lobby, it stands out as a highly competitive and top-tier choice within the Marriott brand. Prior to my arrival, I chatted with the hotel customer service via the Marriott App. They were generous enough to grant an extra lounge benefit on top of my Titanium status, along with a very reasonable discounted rate for an additional lounge access. If you are traveling with family or friends, adding lounge access definitely elevates the overall experience. I had the pleasure of enjoying the Happy Hour for one night, and the food selection was impressive—perfect for those who prefer to relax instead of dining out. Thanks to this wonderful stay, this hotel will undoubtedly be my go-to choice for my next trip to Shenzhen.

Had an excellent stay at Shenzhen Marriott Hotel Nanshan and would gladly return. I was pleasantly surprised to receive an upgrade to a high-floor room on Level 55, which offered breathtaking panoramic views of Shenzhen’s skyline and the bay. Watching the city transform from day to night through the floor-to-ceiling windows was one of the highlights of the stay. The room was modern, spacious and very comfortable, with a beautifully designed bathroom and a fantastic sense of space. The indoor swimming pool and impressive sky-high atrium also added to the luxury experience. A special thank you to the front desk team for their outstanding hospitality. Check-in was smooth, professional, and they kindly accommodated an early check-in at 10:00 AM, which was greatly appreciated after an early arrival. The location is another major advantage. Situated in the heart of Nanshan CBD, the hotel is surrounded by office towers, shopping areas, and plenty of dining options. Just a 5-6 minute walk away, you’ll find numerous local restaurants, dim sum spots, cafés and breakfast choices. There is also a FamilyMart conveniently located downstairs for snacks, drinks and daily essentials. Overall, this hotel combines excellent service, spectacular views, comfortable rooms and a convenient location. A great choice for both business and leisure travelers visiting Shenzhen. Sometimes hotels advertise “city view” and you get a glimpse of one building and a parking lot. Here, the view actually delivers. Human expectations were met for once, which feels almost historic
