We really enjoyed our stay at the Futian Shangri-La in Shenzhen. The hotel has that beautiful, classic Shangri-La feel, which reminded us a little of the Shangri-La we stayed at in Hong Kong. Everything was clean, comfortable and well presented, and the staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The location is also excellent, with shopping, restaurants, the metro and high-speed train station all very close by. Overall, we had a lovely experience and would definitely be happy to stay here again. 😌
The housekeeper for my level, Irene Ma is so friendly. She always greets me everytime she sees me with a huge smile and check on me when her shift ends. For someone first time in a new city, it warms the heart to have her. The Concerige was also very helpful. He helped to bring my 2 heavy luggage to Futian Station, told me how to get the ticket and short cut to the departure hall.
All in all, I love my stay with them and the room is clean, big and well maintained. It is close to many malls and eating places.

We had a fantastic time at Shangri-La Shenzhen. The Club Lounge was absolutely amazing — the food went far beyond finger food, with even full meals available, and they even served champagne. It's honestly the best Club Lounge I've ever experienced.
The hotel itself was very elegant, the pool area was great, and the staff were extremely friendly. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the location was excellent.
The only thing that surprised me was that not everyone spoke English, but that's perhaps just how it is in China.
My clear recommendation: book the Club Lounge access — it's absolutely worth it.
Overall, a truly wonderful hotel — 100% recommendable. We would love to come back again!
I’m a huge fan of Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts. Whenever I travel to China, whether for business or leisure, it’s always my first choice. The service is consistently excellent, and their Chinese restaurants are, hands down, better than most Western chains like The Westin or even The Ritz-Carlton.
This particular property is located in the CBD and is directly connected to Kerry Plaza Shenzhen, which is very convenient. My room had a great view facing the iconic Ping A Finance Center, and it’s within walking distance to COCO Park Shenzhen, making it easy to explore the area.
The room is spacious, with modern furnishings. I only stayed one night this time and had to depart early in the morning to airport so did not get a chance to dine at the hotel. Went before and it was excellent.
The service at the front desk was excellent! Big thanks to Mr Paul and Ms Jeanie Huang for being so professional and patient while checking in for my friends and I. Being 1st time in Shenzhen, the assistanace and smooth check-in Shangri-La left a very good memories. Loved the buffet breakfast spread, the variety and range of options are incredible, the F&B managers were there every morning to greet and assist u too. Thanks to the wonderful team! Will definitely be back again!
