Serenity Coast All Suite Resort Sanya

October 24-28, 2025 My husband and I vacationed in Sanya, Hainan, staying two nights at the InterContinental Hotel. Unfortunately, we booked through Trip.com, so we couldn't accumulate points using our InterContinental membership! I discovered that InterContinental members enjoy many benefits, such as complimentary drinks at the hotel, room upgrades, and late check-out until 2 PM… This inspired me to get a membership card! By the way, a great feature of this stay was the concierge service. She added us on WeChat, and I ordered takeout several times, all of which were delivered to our room. Any needs could be met with immediate assistance through her! Our concierge, Annie, was very proactive and offered helpful suggestions. We were very satisfied! Finally, one small suggestion: the hotel is a bit old; the wooden floors show signs of age. However, considering the price, I think it's still worth staying here again! *My favorite feature was the large bathtub with a view!

The hotel looks newer in the photo. In reality, the rooms are quite tired, but the wooden furniture and interior are high-quality. They are very spacious. There was a musty smell upon check-in, but we checked it and it never came back. The rooms are cleaned daily. The air conditioners work well, but it was very noisy in our bedroom. There are dishes and a washing machine. The breakfasts are excellent, with a lot of variety. We paid for dinner at the hotel once, and everything was great. The grounds are small but nice: there's a pond with fish, a pool area with sun loungers across the road, and a buggy service from the hotel goes to the beach and the bus stop. The beach is a 10-15-minute walk away; the road is nice and clean. Our flight was rescheduled, so we paid extra at the hotel to extend our stay, but it's better not to go through a guide; guides charge through the roof for excursions and other things. We did exchange money with the guide. The bay is very quiet and picturesque. The beach is beautiful and clean, but trash and seaweed wash up in the sea, and there are coral remnants on the bottom, but we still swam.

The room in hotel is very big and comfy - huge living room with a kitchen and a belching, two bedrooms. There is attached bath in the bedroom with a nice view. But location is not perfectly well - there are not too many places around where you can eat or hang out. Also surroundings of the hotel are not very clean and attractive. But on the other hand it is very quite around.

Nice, spacious rooms with two bedrooms and a living room with a kitchenette. Quiet and clean. An electric shuttle takes you to the beach. The pool is nice, with a children's area. The higher you stay, the better. The breakfast is varied. Many Asian dishes are on offer, but there's also a European option. Fruit included mango, oranges, pineapple, watermelon, and cantaloupe.
