Radisson Blu Hotel Liuzhou

I've stayed at the Blu on 4 occasions in past 18 months whilst visiting Liuzhou on business. Rooms are tidy and well kept - beds are comfy - suites are spacious - aircon is appreciated, and quiet! Wifi connection in each room always seems robust and reliable. Business lounge on the uppermost floors is appreciated after a busy day - food there is very good - always a decent buffet selection. Breakfast in main top-floor restaurant offers a great mix of local and international food - I like to mix it up, and get a good taste of local cuisine whenever I can. Views over Liuzhou and the surrounding landscape are spectacular - always a visual feast, both day and night. Gym and pool facilities seem well managed - and spotless. Spoken English in this part of China can be quite limited - but the reception staff do a good job with their own knowledge (junior staff will often use fast translation apps) to quickly resolve any queries. The hotel has a relaxed, stylish vibe - and always makes me feel welcome. Yes, there are newer hotels in Liuzhou - but I've always found the Blu to be good value for money, the staff are friendly - and as a business hub it always serves me well. I see no obvious reason to try anywhere else at the moment. Thank you, Team Blu!

A good business hotel. Breakfast is OK (compared to other places in China) and the rooms are getting old. The staff also doesn't speak much English and communication needs to run via mobile phone translation app. Location is good and within walking distance to restaurants and shopping centers.

I stayed in this hotel for about 6 weeks while helping automate a nearby factory. They had everything I needed. Great WiFi, excellent rooms. The steaks at the upstairs restaurant were pricey (even by U.S. standards) but excellent. The on site Chinese restaurant was also great as well as the breakfast they served. You can walk or taxi to all sorts of incredible parks, nightlife and other restaurants outside the hotel. If you're staying in the area, I recommend this one. They did try to cheat me on my incredible amount of loyalty points I earned but we resolved this.
