Staff is nice hotel is clean. But the bathroom has a permanent night light with a glass wall between the bathroom and bedroom. Some bs curtains are in place with 4 inch gaps on both sides from ceiling to floor, there’s soo much light coming into the bedroom I can’t sleep.
AC has been running on max for about 8 hours and the room never cooled off, preset illusion of being able to cool the room like some hotels in nyc like to do…
Massages are also way overpriced.
Will not stay here again. If you are from a hot climate and sleep with the lights on you’ll probably like this. But I will never stay here again. Picked the location because I’m departing tomorrow and wanted to be close to the airport. This is shit.
We stayed at Pullman Guangzhou Baiyun Airport because we had an early morning flight back to Bangkok and wanted to stay somewhere close to the airport. This hotel was a great choice, mainly because of its excellent location. It is located inside the airport, within walking distance of Terminal 1, and there is also a shuttle bus service to Terminal 3.
The hotel is very large and is connected to its sister hotel, Novotel Guangzhou Baiyun Airport. The staff were friendly and provided good service. The hotel also has plenty of facilities, including a fitness center, swimming pool, spa, steam room, and sauna.
Our room was upgraded to a Deluxe Suite, which was very spacious with a separate bedroom and living room. The living room also had its own bathroom. The bed was soft and comfortable, and we had a good night's sleep.
We also enjoyed the evening cocktail at Societe Lounge & Bar in the lobby. The atmosphere was very relaxing and was a great way to unwind after a long day of traveling and sightseeing. There was a good variety of drinks, and each guest received one set of canapés, which was enough for a light snack before dinner.
The breakfast was another highlight, especially for guests with early flights. Breakfast starts from 3:00 AM, which was very convenient for us. There was a good variety of food, and the taste was quite good. However, the restaurant was very busy and there were not enough staff, so tables were not cleared quickly.
Overall, I would recommend Pullman Guangzhou Baiyun Airport for travelers with an early morning or red-eye flight, or anyone arriving in Guangzhou late at night. The location is excellent, the price is reasonable, and the hotel has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Definitely a convenient option for an airport hotel.
If i have short and busy schedule i always choose Pullman. Hotel have shuttle bus service which is very convenient for Moving airport to hotel or hotel to airport. Also traveling city Shuttle but to airport metro then go what ever you go. All togher its best choice for short stay in near airport.
I stayed at Pullman Baiyun Airport during a short stop in Guangzhou and thought it was a solid airport hotel.
The biggest positive for me was how quiet it was. Considering the hotel is right next to a busy international airport, I expected to hear aircraft noise, but my room was surprisingly silent and I slept very well. The room itself was large, clean, and comfortable, with plenty of space to relax after a long journey.
The hotel facilities were good enough for a short stay. There is a decent gym with the basic equipment you would need for a workout and a swimming pool if you have some spare time. I also liked having a few dining options available, as there are three restaurants in the hotel, making it easy to find something to eat without leaving the property.
Getting around was straightforward. The free shuttle bus to Terminal 2 was reliable and convenient. From Terminal 2 you can easily access the Guangzhou Metro, which makes getting into the city quite simple even if you’re only visiting for a day.
The hotel is not particularly luxurious or memorable, but it does exactly what I would expect from a good airport hotel. It is clean, comfortable, well organised, and very convenient for travellers passing through Guangzhou. The staff were professional, check in was smooth, and everything worked as expected.
Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would use it again for a transit or short visit. If you are looking for a comfortable place to stay near the airport with easy transport links and decent facilities, it is a good option without being overly complicated.
The worst experience I have ever had with a 5 star hotel. I have experienced much better at 3 star hotels with better service. Ordered the food pictured at 7:45 got a call at 8:32 telling me they only had 6 pieces of lamb. I said it was fine and to send it. Within 2 minutes I was then told there was none left and that was that I asked to speak with someone else as this seemed very unprofessional. I got a call back with them then accusing me of not wanting it as the price would be different and as I was asking them to send me to a complaints department the food arrived. I hang up collect food and take a photo. The service staff then received a call telling him to take back the lamb as we were told they didn’t have it anymore. I told him to leave the lamb as I had already paid for it on his eftpos machine and taken photos of it. Pullman hotel you need to do a lot better. Not to mention the smell of cigarettes lingering in the room. I smoked for 18 years of my life and quit 2 years ago. I know what cigarette smells like on a pillow also offering an air purifier and saying it’s just the smell of mould and not cigarettes is not better.
