Oakwood Premier Guangzhou

Very spacious room with great view. The room has large window panel and we are able to have a wide view of the cityline. Room is clean as well.

4Sep2026 We stayed here for 5 days. It was near shopping malls. The room is big. It has a washing machine with in-built dryer which made it very convenient for washing and drying at the same time. The water is strong so showering was a breeze. The TV was not working on the first day so we called for the technician. After 15-20 minutes, they managed to resolve the issue by changing the whole TV cable. Most of the shows were in Chinese except for some channels. The 3 which we always watched were Star Movies, HBO and one more which slipped my mind. The air conditioning was good. The water in the shower did not flow out unlike many other hotels rooms where the water always spread outside the showering area. The pillows were soft though so you might want to opt for a firmer pillows. The contour pillows were smaller than their standard ones. The taxi Didi was convenient to hail but they always did not come to the lobby and just waited outside the main road. The staff was polite and even agreed to let us have a late checkout at 2pm. The breakfast was okay but it seemed many hotel guests did not sign up for the breakfast. There was always no queue and ample seats. The Didi nowadays is expensive though compared to earlier times. The weather is hot and humid so you might perspire a lot after a short walk. Overall the stay at the hotel was pleasant but the air conditioning at the lobby on the 15th floor could be much cooler. It was quite warm when we’re sitting there waiting to pass the time till it was time to leave for the airport 😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀

Super location. Great restaurant choices and cafes close by. Comfy bed and pillows. Liked the tv design how it had the arm which means you could move it to suit watching from the couch or bed. Bonus washing machine. I really enjoyed the views from my room, especially at night. Found the guys at the doors on ground floor were friendly and always smiling. And I found the section very helpful when I needed some information.

We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. A bit pricey but the comfortable and clean rooms (with a kitchen and washing machine!), great location (near to many eateries and shopping malls) and safety are more attractive factors. The views from the 33rd floor were very nice, especially at night. There is a huge park nearby, excellent for the morning jogs. The staff on duty for the checking in and out processes were very smooth and professionally executed. We love this hotel and will likely come here again for our future visits to Guangzhou.
