I traveled in May, outside 36 degC. Unfortunately AC does not work as expected, rather blowing hot air than cooling. Tried all level of setting, could not get a cool breath. Positiv is the location, a beautiful spot and the staff was very friendly. Another downside is the room furniture is very old and worn out, damaged, see the picture of the desk chair. Ordered room service via online app, worked well. Had some local food, was not really a great experience.
The best hotel in the city. lounge staff Snow Wang and Aron Li are helpful and considerate. Will recommend to my friends.
This is a super nice 5-star hotel located next to the beautiful Songshan Lake in Dongguang city. The room is clean and decorated up to date with a patio for great views. The staffs are extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast and food provided by the onsite restaurants are delicious. I very much enjoyed my stay there.
The Hyatt is a very nice hotel, albeit a bit pricey. Rooms are large and have an attached balcony. Hotel service is great. The breakfast buffet is great as are the Copper Grill and Teppanroom. The dinner buffet is a bit disappointing with most food being lukewarm. The hotel is located by Song Shan lake which is a nice lake surrounded by walking paths and greenery. The TV in my room did not work and while I wouldn't have used it much anyways it is disappointing to see these types of detail overlooked.
Had a great stay at the regency. Breakfast buffet is a must. Don't miss the seaweed salad all the way in the back and the freshly made waffles. The restaurants on site are also very good including the one downstairs where you get a whole room to yourselves. The room was great and service has been wonderful. Would highly recommend for business or leisure.
