Hotel Landmark Canton

Stayed here recently and it was a really good find. It’s an older hotel but newly renovated, so the room felt fresh, comfortable, and very clean. The only problem is the ensuite bathroom is really small. We stayed in a riverview room, could see the Pearl River (珠江) and Canton Tower (广州塔) afar directly from our window. We really liked the riverview, although the window was a bit stained. Location is fantastic and getting there is simple. Take exit F from the Haizhu Square (海珠广场站) metro station for direct and easy access. Not only is this the nearest exit, but the escalators make it so much easier if you have luggage. The hotel is just a short 4-minute walk from there. It’s also incredibly convenient for sightseeing. Not only Haizhu Square Metro Station (海珠广场站) is at the Intersection of Line 2 (二号线) and Line 6 (六号线), it is just 1 station away from Beijing Road metro station (北京路站). The Sacred Heart Cathedral (石室圣心大教堂) is also nearby, just about a 15-minute walk away. Nearby there is some great food options that highly rated by the locals, such as Xia Jiao Mei (虾饺妹 (海珠广场店)) and Dian Du De (点都德 (星寰国际商业中心)), both of these dim sum restaurants are populated by the locals. Service was helpful and smooth throughout our stay. One quick tip for anyone staying here: if you are getting online shopping delivered to the hotel, do ensure the recipient name is exactly as per the name used for your hotel booking. Overall, a very comfortable stay in a great spot.

Excellent location and super helpful staff from front desk, concierge, to the bellman. Shout out to Bunnie and Jay for accommodating our last min request and suggesting hit restaurants nearby. The location is everything, malls are nearby river view, Beijing Road isn't a far wall, lots and lots of shopping and food around. The rooms are good and spacious. Especially enjoyed the layout of the shower and bath tub so I can shower and watch my child take a bath.

Highly recommend Hotel Landmark Canton! Room was new and spacious with all the amenities you need. Housekeeping did an impeccable job daily. Laundry room in the hotel was the best. Ample machines, massage chair (for a very small fee), tea area and working table provided. View of Zhujiang River was gorgeous. Location of the hotel is the best. Walking along Zhujiang River in the cooling night breeze was enjoyable. Hotel is also walking distance to malls, wharf for river cruise and Beijing pedestrian street. Dropoff and pickup for Didi in front of hotel entrance is a breeze. Due to the hotel's strategic location, didi fares to alot of tourist spots are relatively cheap. Easy to go train station as well by didi. Hotel also has a dim sum bus tour which is highly recommended to catch sights and enjoy dim sum along the way. Staff at hotel were all very helpful from front desk to concierge to admin. I am very glad i picked Hotel Landmark Canton and will stay there again whenever I am in Guangzhou.

I had an outstanding stay at the Landmark—easily one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had. I was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade that offered a stunning view of the city skyline. The customer service was exceptional from start to finish—every staff member I encountered was warm, professional, and genuinely helpful. The location couldn’t be more convenient. The river is just a 3-minute walk away, and the nearest mall is about 10 minutes on foot. If you’re up for it, you can even walk to the iconic Canton Tower, which makes exploring the area incredibly easy. I also ordered fried rice and vegetables during my stay—simple, but absolutely delicious. I’m giving the Landmark a perfect 10/10.
