Location is perfect for walking to Canton tower. And the metro is best option for all other locations. Room was on 12th floor with great views. Room was spacious, clean, comfortable and offers great value. Staff very helpful and friendly. Starbucks is close by too. Highly recommended and would stay here again.
We had an absolutely amazing stay at Holiday Inn. From the moment we arrived, everything was exceptional — the hotel, the service, the atmosphere, and most importantly, the staff. The service truly went above and beyond our expectations. They even surprised us with a beautiful cake for my birthday, which was such a thoughtful and special touch. It really made the stay even more memorable. A special mention has to go to Janni, the night manager, who was absolutely fantastic. Janni was extremely helpful, caring, and genuinely great to communicate with. He has such a positive personality and great character, and he always made sure we were happy and looked after. He is a fantastic addition to the team and someone who clearly takes pride in making guests feel welcome. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Everything was amazing from start to finish, and the level of service was genuinely 5-star. We will definitely be staying at Holiday Inn again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great hotel experience!
I had a wonderful stay at Holiday Inn Guangzhou. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and professional. I would like to give a special thanks to Mr. Janni from the help desk. He was very kind, helpful, and always ready to assist me whenever I needed anything. He made my stay much more comfortable with his excellent service and positive attitude. Thank you, Mr. Janni, for your outstanding support. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again.
Rooms are filthy and they do not clean. Had mosquito bites all over my body the next morning. Upon check out i realized that the staff has even stolen 1 of my bags from my porter as well. Please be very careful. Most horrible hotel and Honestly would not recommend at all!!
Had a really solid stay at the Holiday Inn Guangzhou recently. Everything just worked smoothly—from the quick and efficient check-in to the clean, comfortable room. The bed was great, the room was well-maintained, and the whole place had a calm, relaxing vibe that made it easy to unwind after a long day. What stood out most, though, was the hospitality. I happened to ask the manager, Janni, whether they had an afternoon tea service—just a casual question, nothing more. He was super friendly, told me a bit about it, and then invited me to enjoy it right there. That kind of spontaneous warmth and genuine care really sets a hotel apart. Janni is clearly someone who takes pride in what he does, and it shows. Throughout my stay, he made a point to be present and attentive, never overbearing, just naturally good at making guests feel looked after. It’s rare to leave a hotel feeling like you’ve actually connected with the people there, but that was exactly the case this time. I left feeling properly rested and genuinely happy with the whole experience. I’ll absolutely be back next time I’m in Guangzhou.
