I dont usually give bad reviews. But this is the worst hilton I ever stayed in. The room is nice and clean. That's it. Worst service ever. Staff doesn't understand English, lobby lounges food is terrible and takes forever and the breakfast is messy with no refills and messy tables and stands. You see many staff ppl walk around, but somehow no service. Choose a different hotel.

I had an absolutely fantastic experience during my stay here. The team went above and beyond to ensure every aspect of my visit was perfect, showing genuine hospitality at every turn. My room was spacious, immaculate, and equipped with everything I needed for a relaxing trip. Waking up to a delicious breakfast spread was a highlight every morning. The atmosphere throughout the property is charming, cozy, and thoroughly inviting. It is rare to find a place that combines high quality with such sincere service. I left feeling completely refreshed and highly recommend this hotel to everyone.
I absolutely loved everything about this hotel! The location is perfect—close to the city and so convenient for getting around. They also offer halal food, which was a huge plus for me. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. Everything was truly top-notch, from the service to the facilities. I would also like to give a special mention to Jim, who helped me so much during my stay. He was incredibly kind, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile to assist me. I truly appreciate all his help and genuinely enjoyed interacting with him. He is such a wonderful, respectful, and responsible staff member, and I sincerely hope the hotel management will recognize and appreciate his excellent service. Jim definitely deserves to be acknowledged for his outstanding hospitality! I’ll definitely be staying here again every time I visit Guangzhou! ❤️
Stayed on 30/07/2026 (currently still staying at the hotel while writing this review). I am extremely disappointed with my stay at Hilton Guangzhou Tianhe. I am staying in Room 1513, and unfortunately the room is nowhere near the standard I expected from a Hilton hotel. The sofa desperately needs a deep clean, and the carpet is dirty and in need of a proper wash and vacuum. Overall, the room feels very tired, dated, and run-down. The view from the room is also very disappointing—not something you want to wake up to. The service has been the biggest letdown. I would honestly rate it 0/10. I called room service and asked for a mug so I could make a hot tea or coffee. Instead, they sent glass tumblers, which are not suitable for boiling hot drinks as they could easily crack. I called again and politely explained that I needed a proper mug or cup for hot drinks. The customer service representative insisted that there were cups in the room. I had already checked thoroughly and even took photos of the tea and coffee station next to the kettle, where there were no mugs or hot drink cups at all. Despite explaining this, no one ever came to provide the correct cups. The location is also disappointing. There is very little within walking distance, so it isn’t as convenient as I expected. This hotel is in desperate need of refurbishment. The rooms, furnishings, cleanliness, and customer service all require significant improvement if Hilton wants to maintain the standards people expect from the brand. The breakfast was okay—not bad, but nothing particularly special. It was probably the only good part of my stay, but it certainly wasn’t enough to make up for the poor condition of the room and the disappointing service. Unfortunately, based on my experience so far, I would not choose to stay here again.
Overall, our stay was average. The service was one of the highlights, especially Max and TieCheng from the bell team, who was incredibly friendly, professional, and helpful throughout our stay. The gym was also decent and well maintained. Unfortunately, the hotel itself feels quite tired and dated. Our room looked like it hadn’t been updated in many years and felt very much stuck in the 1990s. When we first checked in, we were given a room that smelled of cigarette smoke. To the hotel’s credit, they changed our room promptly when we raised the issue. The location also wasn’t ideal for us. Although there are shopping areas nearby, many of the surrounding buildings appear abandoned, and the main shopping area around Beijing Road is approximately a 30-minute drive away. The biggest downside was the Wi-Fi. It was extremely slow and unreliable, and I could barely access my Google Workspace email. I ended up using my own mobile data to get work done. We had also requested connecting rooms when we booked around three months in advance, but this wasn’t arranged. Because Gmail was difficult to access on the hotel’s Wi-Fi, we couldn’t easily retrieve our email confirmation to show the staff. Overall, the staff were polite and helpful, but the dated rooms, unreliable internet, and failure to accommodate our room request made the stay fall short of what I would normally expect from a Hilton.
