A solid choice for your hotel in Sanya. Simple, but comfortable rooms, with great views out to sea. The location is easily walkable to the beach and local supermarkets, food and drink. The pool is large and nice, as is the gym. Breakfast has a large spread for a 4 points and the price for staying is very reasonable. It's actually the only Marriott hotel in Sanya where the security staff greated us.

19/02/2025 We reached sanya station around 1425 Once we walk off from the sanya train station then we took a tram to yingbin road station about 6-8 station and the fare around SGD $1++ but that other option to those dont want take public transport may book didi ride directly to your location. From yingbin station to four points i take about 10-15 mins walk and basically the hotel location also it doesn’t show accurate place . The hotel it literally opposite beach just crossing road. The hotel location is so strategic to anywhere. The hotel is well maintained we reached hotel around 1530 but sadly our rooms is not ready for check in the front desk told us that we need to wait around 1-1.5hour but the good part the front recovered us with complimentary vourcher at their lounge. And we managed to get our rooms around 1700 the room is so spacious and well maintained. But only the aircond abit warm so what i did was closed half of the curtain especially during day time to avoid from sunlight shine to our room that could make our room feel warmer. Our room is inclusive with breakfast that a choices quite a lot but will suggest you guys go before 8am to avoid from heavy traffic from other people need to queue outside while waiting for the table. That a choice of western and Chinese style and those vegan, vegetarian that not a lof of choices that you could get in and those muslim there is not halal except of bread or cereal for your choice. And the hotel got provided shuttle to Nanshan tample and CDF MALL Haitang bay just need to book in advance slot and timing at front desk . And possible for you guys to have WECHAT apps or china phone number because they will make a call for confirmation for the shuttle. On the 20th of feb after we came back from haitang bay we get a surprise birthday cake from the hotel team. Btw thank you for the great memories in china that i couldn’t forget it ❤️🇸🇬
We did not stay in the hotel room but we had coffee in the hotel bar. The staff were very helpful in explaining the rates for the dinner on the 24 and 31 December in their All Day Dining Restaurant. The buffet on the first night was relatively good and worth the S$ 75.00 net per person we pay for. Especially good were the sushi and sashimi. We enjoyed the lamb chop, very tender. Free flow of local beer was included in the price. The service was not very attentive, we had to ask for our table to be cleared of dirty dishes. (BYO is allowed but we did not bring any wine). After dinner we went to the bar on the 29th floor and to our surprise they did not have any sparkling nor champagne. Unacceptable. Worth mentioning was the service by Larry, the supervisor who attended our bookings. He allowed us to bring our own champagne to the top bar for the 31st midnight celebration. At the top bar on the 29th floor, the staff seemed not eager to serve. We had to ask for their attention. Being in a 5 star hotel we expected much better service. The view from there, however was stunning. One could clearly see the high building at Phoenix Island with a very attractive LED display. On December 31 we had a similar experience as per 24 December. The food display was adequate but we did not splurge. Sushi, lamb chops, pork trotters, Cheese, dessert. My wife enjoyed the local Hainan special cooked in a broth at the table. This time around we had a free flow of red wine ( totally undrinkable, sour Australia cheap wine, see picture) Again at the 29th floor bar we had the same negative experience with inattentive service. No doubt we were allowed to bring our own champagne but to our surprise neighbouring tables were even allowed to bring in food from outside (Mac Donald). Again unacceptable in a 5 star hotel (see picture)
1.The hotel front desk took 15-20 minutes to check us in. 2. The hotel amenities are very outdated. For example, there is no self-serving laundromat, the TV lacks projection function unless you brought an HDMI cable, and the WiFi speed was extremely slow! 3. Unstable water temperature in the shower! It goes from burning hot to cold every 5 seconds by itself. Water pressure is also unstable. 4. Unusable AC! On a tropical, hot, and humid island, one would expect a 3-star hotel to have an working AC. However, we changed two rooms due to AC problems. Despite setting the temperature to 19°C, after hours passed, the outdoor temperature was 28°C, and our room temperature was 25°C. It felt as if the AC wasn't working at all. The room was hot and humid even with the dehumidifier and fan they sent us. When we tried to cancel the room through the third-party website that we booked this hotel from, and we were told by the website that after calling the hotel, the hotel's sales personnel said that they couldn't cancel the room or provide a refund because people have different standards for hot or cold, and what I feel is totally subjective, it might be hot for you, but for other people it might be normal. 5. When you order food delivery, there's no cute little robot to deliver it to your door. You'll have to go down to the parking lot, which is located outside the building, to get the food you ordered. You'll be sweating buckets just to get food. In conclusion, the ocean view is the only selling point for this hotel. Other than that, I don't see anything that stands out from their competitors. There are many cheaper and newer hotels around, so stay away!
Good Four Points ! Stayed 1 night at this hotel. Only opened in 2012, everything seems new here. It’s a Four Points so you know what to expect. The staff was friendly at the front desk. Free wifi everywhere. Room was great. You got free movies on TV. The location was very good in downtown Sanya, 1 minute walk to the beach across the road. The beach is not as nice as in Haitang Bay or Yalong Bay though. You got many stores, restaurants and supermarkets around. The gym is a bit small and the swimming pool too. Still a good Four Points, if you wanna stay in downtown Sanya, I recommend it ! 4/5 visited in November 2013
