DoubleTree by Hilton delivered an excellent stay that gets almost everything right. The beds were extremely comfortable and made for genuinely great nights of sleep. After a day of traveling or sightseeing, coming back to a bed this good makes a real difference, and it is one of the strongest points of this hotel. The staff was very friendly and welcoming throughout the entire stay. Every interaction felt genuine and helpful, from check in to everyday requests, and the team clearly made an effort to make guests feel comfortable and well looked after. That kind of hospitality is not a given, and it added a lot to the overall experience. The one point worth mentioning is the pool rule. Guests are required to wear a swim cap, and this applies even to guests with a shaved head or no hair at all. For someone without hair, this rule feels unnecessary and does not really make sense, since there is no hair to contain. A little flexibility for guests in this situation would be appreciated and would make the pool area more welcoming. That said, this is a small detail in an otherwise very good stay. Comfortable rooms, great beds, and friendly staff make this hotel an easy recommendation for anyone visiting the area. Five stars for a hotel that delivers on comfort and service. I would gladly stay here again.

Nice hotel to base yourself while in Guangzhou. We were here on a business & shopping trip and most places we wanted to visit for shopping were 10-15 minutes drive. The rooms are slightly dated but are still nice and comfortable and we had an amazing view of the city. Their gym is spacious and fully equipped with a lot of machinery, and they also have a sauna. I booked a hot stone massage at the spa on the last day and it was really amazing - highly recommend! Only main downside was the in room dining experience - the food was very average. In general a good stay!
We only stayed here for xiaobie (close to halal food spots). As it was a short walk. Otherwise I would not have chosen this hotel considering cost and better locations available. Positives: • sauna and steam available. • check in and check out was swift • front door concierge were great and all other staff. • taxi drivers were familiar with hotel as it was to find. Negatives: • room outdated however acceptable • bathroom had couple cracked tiles • swimming pool required cap - mandatory - im bald with shaven head so it made no sense - so didnt get to use the swimming pool
We had a fantastic stay here. The service is exceptional, especially from Molly Liu who handled our check-in. She was incredibly patient, friendly, and went above and beyond by upgrading our rooms and giving us a curated list of nearby attractions, malls, and restaurants. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, providing a great night's rest. And you can never go wrong with their delicious signature cookies! Thank you, Molly and team!
The hotel has a good location but not exactly walking distance to the old parts of the city. The rooms are modern and spacious. The staff is efficient and kind, especially Chloe at the reception. The breakfast is super big with numerous choices for everyone. Only downside is the executive lounge. It seems old and not clean enough. It doesn't go along with the reputation of Hilton brand.
