We arrived at the resort early, so we dropped our bags off and waited around until check-in. The room wasnt ready yet, there was a bad odour, we were quite tired and needed to lay down and relax so they eneded up giving us another room. The service at the front desk was quite slow, we had a lot of interruptions. The hotel feels a bit run down and outdated. Better suited for families with small children as there are more activities for the children. The buffet breakfast gets tiring after a couple of days, the same luke warm food. No air-conditioning throughout the hotel other than your room and the public bathrooms. We could not change the temperature of the air-conditioning in our room. Overall not a great experience.
I had a fantastic stay at this beautiful hotel. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous and so well‑kept—I loved walking through the greenery every morning. The staff were incredibly welcoming and always ready to help with a smile. A huge thank you to the housekeeping ladies, who did a brilliant job keeping my room perfectly clean and comfortable every day. The hotel is located in a quiet, convenient spot, which made for a relaxing experience. To top it off, they surprised me with a lovely birthday greeting in my room, which was a beautiful personal touch. Thank you for everything!
Great hotel, excellent food, large pool and close to the beach. Swimming in the sea is discouraged and one should be aware of concrete blocks under the water surface.
This hotel only deserves 2 stars max. May be it is China inland 5 stars hotel 40 years ago. Receptionist got no smile nor service. Rooms are old and bad conditions. Room services people knock on doors with strangers. Breakfast and dinner buffets are very low standard. Seats are dirty. When move in, I was really shocked. Close by beaches are not attractive. Surrounding areas got nothing to offer. Swimming pools.... errr...... Only merit is that it is close to airport, otherwise will not recommend what so ever.
Great value for your money. Price is very reasonable. Hotel is a bit dated, but well maintained and kept very clean.
They were also very kind to upgrade us without us even asking.
Room was very nice and super clean.
Staff is also very kind. English can be challenging, but I don’t expect the whole world to speak perfect English.
Special thanks to Boannie and another guy from the reception(forgot his name) that spoke good English and spent extra time to help us with certain things.
Definitely recommended hotel for your stay in Sanya.
