The room was very clean, and the hotel is conveniently located close to the airport. I am also highly satisfied with their excellent support, as they reissued the receipt on the very same day I requested it via email.

This hotel is beautiful and neat. Despite the language barrier, I was accommodated warmly and nicely. The staff were great at the reception and restaurant. Stephen Meng the concierge and I eventually became friends and he made my stay in Guangzhou a memory. However, the location makes it a challenge when u visit other parts of Guangzhou because it becomes very expensive.

Unless you are staying overnight to be close to the airport, or have business close by, I would not stay at this property. The hotel itself is not bad. It’s nothing special. It’s rather ho hum. My only comment is that the staff need to lift their game. Hey didn’t seem to have much local knowledge and were even hesitant to recommend restaurants to dine. This was the only IHG property we’ve stayed at that did not offer us welcome drinks. This is something I have been accustomed to as a club member. We walked through the buffet breakfast but didn’t see anything appealing so decided to give it a miss. The area itself is quite industrial so don’t expect an abundance of shopping centres or restaurants. Overnighting is fine. If you have 2 nights, I would suggest you stay in an area closer to the city centre.
