City Hotel

Let me check in early and warned me about the renovation noises during the day. Unfortunately the traffic noises are comparable by night through my window view. Apart from the noise, pretty decent modern hotel that’s a brisk walk away from the 11 circle line and a stone’s throw from Baiyun Mountain Park. You only need to ride 9 stops to the Canton Fair. Seems to be multiple staff at the tiny front desk but most of the youthful whippersnappers just ignore you. The cleaners are nice though, and leave me four bottles of water as if I look like I just emerged from Arrakis. Decent pricing and free drinks in the lobby are what I’m here for. Oh, and clean beds and wide space.

The rooms were clean and the service was good. I will definitely come back here.

It was convenient to get around and not too far from the airport. It is relatively clean, though there is room for improvement, but the linens are always very clean and comfortable. The breakfast served was almost the same thing every day, it got boring after a few days. All in all the stay was good and the staff friendly. I would recommend a stay here.

The construction site nearby is making a bit of noise in the early morning.
