Kithala Resort was a short stay for us and it didn't disappoint in most aspects. Be it the paddy field view from our balcony, the peacocks surrounding the property to the overall dining experience, the staff ensured our needs were met.
The buffet selection was limited and the food was decent. The Wi-Fi connectivity was very poor with frequent disconnections despite repeated logins.
The bathroom has limited space with an odd layout. Would recommend a mosquito repellent and a local SIM plan for the data issues.
Great great great place to stay. Location is amazing, facilities well built and easy. The swimming pool area with restaurant & bar works really fine to relax a full day or just the end of the day after tours.

One curiosity: the rice fields in front of the lake belongs to the hotel and the red rice you eat at the hotel comes from there 😋
We spent three wonderful nights at Kitela Resort, and it was exactly what we needed. The staff were genuinely warm and attentive, always ready to help with a smile. Our room was spotless and comfortable, and the pool was a perfect place to unwind - peaceful, clean, and beautifully maintained. The food? Honestly superb. Every meal felt fresh and thoughtfully prepared. We stayed on a half-board basis, and it was well worth it. If you're looking for a relaxing getaway with warm hospitality, this place is a gem.
We stayed two nights and it was a very relaxing hotel facing a beautiful paddy field. Lovely small pool with a kiddy pool too. Rooms were very clean & good bedding. The bathroom was clean but little cramped. The room TV has kiddy channels to keep the kids entertained. The restaurant was very nice and the staff is very helpful. The food is good but the choice and the flavour was a mismatch. Overall a lovely hotel to visit.
This was our first time experience in Thema collection hotel. We got discount price for double room Half board basis. Our discounted price was worth for stay. We needed to change our dinner to lunch option & hotel management kindly arranged that. The hotel gets easy access since it is located next to main road. Food options were quite limited but foods were good. Room space was enough for us but bathroom was very small, that in shower area we couldn't move our arms properly even. Staff was nice & we were satisfied with their service.
