A great trip made better by Jim our guide, who's knowledge and history was second to none. Highly recommended trip

Because I didn't have internet or phone in China, determining the pick up point proved challenging

What can I say about the trip today, having wanted to see the terracotta warriors for such a long time, the tour exceeded my expectations, the tour guide was incredible and patient and know the best places to take photos, his history knowledge was amazing making the day even more wonderful, thankyou David and the company who provided the trip

We had a really good experience! They sent already some WhatsApp messages the afternoon before, to coordinate the best pick up time. They picked us up punctually. Our guide David was extremely helpful and patient in his explanations, and what i did appreciate a lot was his support at the gate as we had an issue with a forgotten passport (it happens to the best of us). His help and coordination was invaluable. We took a different path as other tours but that gave us the chance to see the warriors up close first than most of other groups so we had them for ourselves for almost 20 minutes. Amazing

Cindy the guide was excellent, very passionate and informative. Her English skills were very good and she was very happy to answer any questions that we had. Small group of 4, myself and my partner were very happy. The driver who took us to and from the tour was excellent also.

We had a wonderful experience visiting the Terracotta Army with David! He was incredibly sweet, kind, and caring, making us feel welcome and comfortable throughout the entire tour. He explained the history of the Terracotta Army in an engaging way, which made the visit even more special. You can really tell that David cares about his guests and wants them to have the best possible experience. As a lovely extra touch, he even gave us luggage tags as a gift, which was such a thoughtful and sweet gesture! We truly appreciated his kindness and attention to detail. Communication, as well as the pickup and return transport provided by the tour operator, went excellently. David, our guide at the Terracotta Army, was very knowledgeable and explained things in a friendly, easy-to-understand manner; he took great care of our small group and also handled two issues that arose for me during the tour very well. Furthermore, he knew how to guide the group so that we briefly avoided crowded areas and only visited them when there were fewer visitors.I initially looked into visiting the Terracotta Army independently, but in the end, I chose this tour as a better, more hassle-free alternative.

Having visited over 50 countries in my 70 years l can say l have never encountered a tour guide (David) with such in-depth knowledge of their subject. The team supporting him were amazing. Such a refreshing difference to some other lacklustre tours l have endured in the past. Have to recommend Ping’s 100%. ( seriously; no financial gain or benefits have been received for this review)

David was a very knowledgeable tour guide and brought us through the Terracotta Warriors efficiently giving us quite a bit of information as we went. In fact, I would not go without a guide because you really don’t know what you are looking at and it’s the details that make this site so spectacular. Since we were traveling with our teenager, David thought our son would enjoy this virtual reality ride. I was hesitant but David thought my son would like it and it was great advice as it was the best VR my son ever experienced. Oh and the pick up in the hotel was great too. Just made finding David easier. Thanks David.

Excellent time with JiaJia got through the queues relatively quickly, gave lots of interesting info on the way to the museum and at each site. Great value - site is a must do

*** Honestly trust the tour guide*** Jah Jah was the best tour guide I have ever had - and I have used plenty on my travels. She was so good with my husband and our 2 children. Helped us navigate around a busy popular place and had lots of knowledge. Her English was fantastic, and she knew all the local knowledge dodges. She genuinely really cared about everyone having a great time. She is fantastic. I will definitely not hesitate to using this company or her again. She is the standard that I wish all tour guides should have. We will miss her. We did everything that was advised and due to her - we had the best time out ever. Listen to your tour guide. They know more than you.

Our driver was wonderful and guide exceptional. Our guide, David, spoke excellent English and was an expert on the terracotta warriors - he really added value to the experience for us and was happy to answer a range of questions. He also expertly and politely navigated the absolutely insane crowds in the heat & never showed any indication he was at all bothered. I would highly recommend this tour. Our driver drove us safely and comfortably to our destination, using a translation app to communicate very effectively with us.

We made a mistake on the booking but the company found us another guide. Luckily for us we got Joyce, extremely friendly, great English and full of energy. Joyce guided us through the tour expertly. Thank you

David was an amazing tour guide! His passion and pride of the terracotta warriors made his detailed explanations with funny anecdotes even more engaging and informative. We’ve been before and have to say David’s guidance was the best! He even introduced us to the youngest farmer who found the terracotta warriors and we were able to take photos with him! The driver was lovely too, the drive was smooth and he even stopped on the side of the road on the way back so we could take photos of the hill/burial mountain of the emperor qin shi huang. Highly recommend this tour!

We were lucky to join this tour during off-peak season. The queues were short, and since there were only two of us, the tour felt like a private one. Terracota museum worth seeing. We learnt and respect the workers who made the army. Joyce was a great tour guide. She explained things well and answered all our questions clearly. She even find and show us supporting literature to answer our questions. Moreover, she respect us as moslems and even showed us to a recommended Muslim restaurant and helped us order food since we don't understand Chinese.

Our family of 4 went on a tour with Ping's to view the Terracotta Army. Ping was prompt and clear in her communication with us immediately after our purchase, with follow ups till the day of the activity. Our English speaking guide David was fantastic in pacing the tour keeping our kids in mind. Description was clear and English was good. Totally recommend doing this tour for this activity so that you get a good insight into the history that is not in the descriptions and may be quite different if you DIY-ed using the displays and audio guides.

The person that organised the tour was super friendly and helpful, gave us all the details of the tour in a very clear and orderly manner. We were punctually picked up at our hotel, the car was new. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and nice, spoke good english. At the end of the tour they even gave us a panda-shaped luggage tag as a gift! :) would definitely recommend

Ping and Jade really gave their best to give us an unforgettable experience. Ping was helpful and gave a lot of useful information both before and after the visit. Jade was our professional tourguide at the museum. She was easy to follow and always if everyone was still with her (physically and mentally). One small point of critisism though, the museum is really really crowded so at some points it is difficult to make good photo's.

On June 7 I joined the Terracotta Army Mini Group Tour with Ping’s Tours and it was a great experience. Everything ran seamlessly from the hotel pickup to the return. Zhang, the driver, was professional and careful, and the car was clean, comfortable, and spacious. Our guide David was excellent—his English was good, his explanations about the history and discovery were engaging, and the audio system made it easy to follow along even with the lively atmosphere at the site. He guided us smoothly through all the main areas without unnecessary waiting. I stayed a bit longer on my own, and he gave me clear directions to reconnect with the driver afterwards. Overall, a fantastic way to explore the Terracotta Army, and I’d recommend Ping’s Tours to anyone visiting Xi’an.

We had a fantastic time at the Terra-cotta warriors. Our guide Jade was extremely knowledgeable and had excellent English - we would highly recommend her for this tour! There is some signage however having a guide definitely makes the experience more enriching.

Our guide David An 安福 was SOOOOO GREAT!!! Loved him so much! He was caring, think customers, spoke clearly and slowly, he’s wonderful. David also recommended this lunch place for us and it was yummy as, also very cheap. My auntie and uncle had to take photos with him as they had a really good experience. Highly recommended, go to David An! And please treat him nicely🫶

David is an excellent guid. Full of knowledge and patience. The driver was super nice. After the tour, he had prepared water and some cookies for us.

Highly recommend when you don't have much time to plan by yourself. The support team was very responsive and accommodating, even with last-minute changes, when we wanted to extend our visit and changed the train ticket, and even booked extra activities to another city. The drivers were punctual, and friendly, making every journey smooth and comfortable. Our tour guide was gentle and so knowledgeable, helpful, and always ready to go the extra mile. We did not have much time in Xian to plan ourselves but found a great support, truly well-organized and enjoyable trip from start to finish!

Our guide David was amazing! The crowds were huge due to the holidays but he made the experience worth it anyway. I would highly recommend booking with David!!
