Being able to travel to one of wonders of the world there is high expectations of getting the best experience when meeting the Terracotta Army. Tracy our tour guide and our driver Mr Wang helped us get the most of our experience, everything from smooth driving to Tracy’s amazing vast knowledge on the Terracotta Army. I would be sure to book again in future!

Celine was amazing! Great communication, easy pick up, and very accomodating when I wanted to be dropped off at a different location on the way back. Also, Celine is very knowledgeable about the Terracotta Army and helped our group avoid the crowds and find the best photo spots. Would definitely recommend!
Go there on weekdays and outside of chinese school holidays or any holidays. Still its probably worth seeing if you are in the area.
Celine was a fantastic tour guide. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and did a great job explaining the history of the Terracotta Warriors and all the important details about the site. Her explanations made the visit much more interesting and enjoyable. We really enjoyed our time on this tour and learned a lot along the way. Highly recommended!
Roger the guide is extremely knowledgeable and made the trip that much more enjoyable.
Roger told us a lot of history. There vere just so much noice. Hardt to hear the guid through the earpiece. Would recomend Roger, but they should get better earpieces
Celine was an absolute star. She was very knowledgeable and so enthusiastic, we were all so eager to find out more not just about the Terra-cotta warriors but about China in general. She made a difference and we definitely enjoyed our day out with her!
The Terracotta Warriors and the Qin dynasty is, I think, one of the fundamental ways to help understand China as a country and well worth a visit. The magnitude and scale is mind blowing.
We only bought entry tickets and it worked perfectly well. Communicating with the vendor was also easy.
Lily was a great tour guide! She was very informative and did a great job showing us the site! It was a great experience!
This is simply transport and tickets. There was no guide. We got a guide separately at the museum. You can buy the tickets yourself, and easily arrange the transport from any sensible hotel or the Didi app.
Superb tour. Celine is first class, her knowledge and friendliness makes the whole experience a pleasure. We didn’t expect to get such fantastic information and insight into the warriors history , their discovery and on going excavation work. Great pre trip communication too. Cannot recommend highly enough.
I highly recommend this tour. Roger was our guide for today and he is so knowledgeable about the history of each place we visited. The Terracotta Warriors are amazing and well worth the visit. Though the crowds of people are brutal!
We had an amazing visit to the Terracotta Army! Our guide, Roger, was knowledgeable, professional, and made the day run smoothly. He handled a tricky situation with another visitor calmly and offered great solutions. Highly recommend this tour—thank you, Roger, for an unforgettable experience!
We traveled to Xi’an with my partner specifically to see the Terracotta Army, and the experience did not disappoint. Our guide, Tracy, accompanied us throughout the entire tour, answering our questions and giving us helpful recommendations on how to get around the city. Without a doubt, I highly recommend it!
We really enjoyed our trip to the terracotta warriors. Celine is a great guide, she provided us with really interesting information about Xi'An and the archeological site.
This tour is amazing, and our guide Carol was great! She gave us a lot of details about this unique place and history. She is very knowledgeable and spoke excellent English.
What a great trip to see the warriors, as per instructions the passports let us in . Pit 1 was super and such a great experience. 👍👍👍👍👍✨✨✨✨✨
No trouble booking and no trouble getting tickets able to change date and time with no extra cost would recommend
Tracey was our guide and she was so knowledgeable I always wanted to see the Terracotta Warriors and it was amazing We also visited the Wild Goose Pagoda and walked on the City Wall Lunch was good with quite a few selections
The staff here is very helpful until they made me enter the Terracotta Museum successfully due to some duplicated booking from my mistake. They updated me everyday about my booking. After successfully book my ticket they still gave me advise on what time to enter. Very good! 5 star!
This is a quick and easy way to purchase tickets for people who do not have a Chinese mobile number.
This is why we come to Xi'an. Visit and be blown away to the scale of the place. Absolutely stunning. Be aware that the glass encased warriors get surrounded by a mass of people. Don't rush. Take your time and absorb it all. Fantastic
Outstanding ( pun intended) visit to see something you've only see on Television. Who can criticise something this marvellous. Well worth a visit when in China...
A guide is essential to understand the experience and to navigate the crowds. I highly recommend reading a bit about this before going.
Tour guide was organized, efficient and the ride to the Terracota site was smooth. Buffet lunch was excellent with good food variety to choose from.
We are older than 70, so we were entitled to get free ticket to visit the terracotta warriors. Viator instead has charged US the ticket
What a fantastic visit. Rodger was brilliant. He helped us find the quickest lines and knew how to get us in the best spots to view the warriors. Really knowledgeable. We would genuinely recommend him as a guide.
We recently used Travel China Guide for our trip to China, and their service was nothing short of exceptional. Securing tickets for popular attractions like the Terracotta Army in Xi’an and the Forbidden City with Tiananmen Square in Beijing can be very challenging since only a limited number are released each day. Thanks to this agency, we didn’t have to worry at all—they knew exactly when tickets would become available and booked them for us without any stress. The entire booking process was smooth and reliable. They responded to our emails quickly, with clear and helpful information every time. A special thanks goes to Christina, our consultant, who always replied promptly and with such friendliness. Her assistance gave us confidence and peace of mind throughout the process. If you’re planning a trip to China and want a reliable, professional agency that truly cares about its clients, I can’t recommend Travel China Guide highly enough. They made our travel experience so much easier and more enjoyable.
Worked all as offered. Tickets were linked to passport and we could enter without any problem. Recommended
Entry by passport worked great 2 optional shuttle busses to pay for extra which was only 2 yuan or you can walk of course .Great day , lots to see . It is busy but you will get to see everything if your patient
Avoid a weekend and when Chinese children are off school. Try to visit in cooler weather. We tried going on Sunday and there was a long line waiting to get into another line for the big pit. Have been there 9 times before and never like this. But previous trip was 2015
Perfect booking, no problem at all. Top experience in China, a real emotions. Arrive veryveryvery early because of overtourism. There are no long queue but you don't see anything at the beginnung cause of the "human wall"
Works perfectly , Terra-cotta has Very long queues for buying ticket form the entrance of the Museum , we entered museum directly with no waiting around
Nice, fast, easy booking. As for the museum itself, There is no need to say that it's worth it. If you are searching Viator to decide if you are going to visit the mausoleum, you are in the wrong track.
Amazing. On entering turn right and go into the museum before entering the two main tombs as it explains everything and shows some of the Soldiers. Lots of food and drinks places after the visit on the way out.
Can hire audio guide for self guided tour which provides plenty of information, no need to hire a guide, so can be fully independent.
Very easy company to deal with, I put in my request for Terracotta Army tickets and when they were released the Travel China Guide service obtained them immediately and sent me confirmation. I just presented at the Terracotta Army with our passports. easy and simple
We decided to not do a tour here and go here by ourself, we eded up getting a tour guide there and that was the best move - Thanks to Jackie he was so informative and helpful. I was extremely luck the founder was there and managed to get a book and he signed it for me. Best day ever....... Highly recommend going there :)
Amazing to see the scale and understand the history as well as the restoration work. We used a guide not booked in advance but at the entrance and learnt so much more than if we hadn’t. Plus the guide helped us with getting in and navigating to the chariots museum. Go early, be there before it opens ( 50 min taxi ride from city centre) and it will be much easier to view the warriors. By 10am queues from tour buses were huge and inside it was packed. The gift shop is great, plenty of staff to help and lots of choice based on your budget. The mausoleum and bronze chariots are in a separate museum, transport on electric trolley buses , there is a small cost to get to these ( 30 RMB cash only) or you can walk but that’s not ideal if it’s very hot.
Seeing something you only read about 😍. Seems to be an ongoing excavation but that’s half the fun. Xian is incredible too.
This is the only way to get tickets for a foreigner to see the Terracotta soldiers if you do not have a Chinese phone number as you cannot book through the website or WeChat without one. I give it 4 stars as the experience itself is a lifetime dream for me and that the tickets were booked on time and I did have them. But do keep it mind that the price is more than 4 times of what you would pay if you could book from the site itself. You get nothing with this booking but a ticket. No transfer, no audio guide, not even clear information of how to use the tickets. So I really do not understand how can they justify the up cost of 4 times the price. Other services that I used only priced the price to double for a booking fee unfortunately they just didn’t offer this experience otherwise I would have used them. One more note on the provided as I had a bad experience with them for another ticket purchase. They might not prioritise purchasing your ticket and you could be in a situation where you have no ticket for the time you are there so keep this in mind. I would recommend you pay immediately when booking not the book now pay later option as they only start booking for you once you have paid.
Easy to buy tickets! And the Terracotta Warriors Army is definitely a place to visit ! Try to go at the weekdays and late in the afternoon if you can , less crowded!
The experience of seeing the Warriors was incredible. Viator keeps you well informed bro fore your arrival on the status of your tickets. Hired a guide at the entrance which was nice, but sometimes difficult to understand. True bucket list check off.
Although the terracotta warriors are fabulous and an unforgettable experience, I wouldn’t booking through Trip Advisor. The website I booked on originally indicated the price included pick up, transport, admission, guide and shuttle and admission to the mausoleum. But after numerous emails to Trip Advisor, their agent and the local trip organiser, it was only the admission price and the shuttle bus to the mausoleum (which I never received any instructions about how to do so we didn’t go). Go see the warriors (avoid weekends!) but don’t buy through Trip Advisor
Good experience, prevent to queue to get the tickets when it’s a very crowded place . To visit early morning to avoid the crowd
The booking experience with TripAdvisor was easy, efficient and responsive. When you arrive there are lots of official guides approaching you to take you around. We chose a woman who was gently spoken and polite. The guides give you ear phones and talk you through the areas, providing the history and explanations. Highly recommend getting a guide. It is all amazing. We went on a Friday which was already busy but were told that on weekends it is often fully booked and you can't get near the edge to take photos so if possible avoid weekends. Great not to be missed experience!
Our visit to terracotta warriors with the guide Rosa was an amazing experience. She was very friendly and knowledgeble. She explained everything in details .Highly recommend her as an english speaking guide
Quick booking, confirmation and constant contact with the agency. Very nice service, clear website in English, as is contact with them. I recommend.
