We had Rosa as our guide for the day, and rather than taking the tour in a small group we had the bonus of just my wife and I having Rosa's attention. I felt that she was able to take routes around the Terracotta Warriors that avoided the crowds where possible, and showed us the best places to take photos. She also took us on a golf cart along Xi'an's old city wall and we finished the tour in a Muslim Street restaurant (recommended by Tripadvisor) where we sampled some delicious food.

Itinerary
Time: 9:00-12:00 Your exploration of the Terracotta Army site begins. Please follow your guide to discover the amazing terracotta warriors that were buried for more than 2,000 years and to hear interesting stories about China's first emperor — Emperor Qin Shi Huang (259–210 BC). There are three pits in the museum. Our recommended visiting sequence is Pit 1 – Pit 2 – Pit 3 – Bronze Chariot Pit – the Mausoleum of Qin Shi Huang as you will follow historical clues that lead from general to detailed information. Pit 1 is the largest of the pits and it is estimated to house around 6,000 figures as well as a great quantity of bronze weaponry. You will be shocked by the large scale of the figures lining up, and will feel as if you have been taken back to the Qin Dynasty when the army of soldiers was waiting to go out to battle. Pit 2 is not as large as Pit 1. It is estimated that the terracotta warriors and horses in this pit amount to 1,300 figures. However, the great variety makes it top-rated among all three pits. Pit 3 is the smallest one with only 72 terracotta warriors and horses. It is believed that it served as the headquarters for the army, directing the warriors in Pit 1 and Pit 2. The Bronze Chariot Pit exhibits two painted bronze chariots in a large scale. As burial objects, the bronze chariots represent Emperor Qin Shi Huang's vehicles. Crowned as "the King of Bronze Ware", the bronze chariots are the earliest, largest, and best-preserved bronze artifacts in the world.
Time: 14:30-16:30 Xi'an Ancient City Wall was first built in the Ming Dynasty (1370–1378 AD) and is the largest and the best-maintained ancient city wall in China. It is shaped like a rectangle with a total length of 13.74 kilometers. The downtown part of Xi'an City is centered within this ancient city wall. There are four major gates (the north gate, the east gate, the south gate, and the west gate) of this city wall. Your visit will start from East Gate (Chang Le Gate). You have three options when visiting the city wall. You can choose to walk part of the city wall (we suggest you walk from East Gate to South Gate, which is about 3.5 kilometers). You can cycle along the city wall (your guide will help you to rent a bike (at your own expense) and we suggest you cycle from East Gate – North Gate – West Gate – South Gate, which is about 10 kilometers, and finally meet your guide and the other tour members at South Gate at about 4:30pm).
Time: 17:00-17:30 The Muslim quarters lies 100 meters west of the Bell tower in downtown Xi'an. The 500 meters long avenue paved by bluestones are dotted with many unique stall, souvenir shop, café and bars which are mostly run by Muslim people.

Thanks to our wonderful guide Tina who shared with us the quite amazing Terracotta Warriors and highlights of Xi’an. Tina and our driver could not have been better hosts, very well informed, flexible and loads of fun! Not to be missed when you visit Xi’an.
I did the tour of Terracotta warriors, City wall and Muslim street with China Highlights. I was not disappointed at all. I loved the Terracotta warriors and luckily it is low season at the moment, so I was able to get a good view of the warriors Muslim street and the city wall are also a great experience. Muslim street is great for street food. Our tour guide was Elina, an experienced and knowledgeable tour guide. She took great pride in providing detailed information at all the sites. It was a pleasure to be on the tour with her. In the evening, visit the Bell tower and Pagoda. The lighting looks beautiful
All in all an excellent experience. Small groug, good driver, on time, super interesting program and a very skilled knowledgable and gentle guide Phoebe!
Exploring Xian without knowing Chinese can be difficult. Thanks to this tour, I was able to hit all the highlights in a day. Our guide Phoebe was excellent. She kept us informed throughout the tour. Everything went smoothly, from hotel pick up, lunch and sights. Highly recommend.
Maggie was excellent, took us on a full day tour to the Terra-cotta warriors museum. She was very friendly , easy to communicate with and had great knowledge of the warriors and Xi’an city ! Very happy with our tour and highly recommended Maggie for a tour of the city ! Thanks again Maggie you done a great job.
Was a great experience and Kai was a very thoughtful guide. The whole complex was awesome and the museum had some great exhibits
I went to Huangshan last year and Xi'an in May with China Highlights. Phoebe our local guide was great, punctual, listening. She guided our small group to the Terracotta warriors, the city wall and Muslim street with a lot of interesting explanations. Didier
We had a full day tour with our guide Richard and our driver. We visited the Terracotta warrior site (admission ticket price not included) and also later visited the wall of Xian (admission ticket not included) and also the muslim quarter. After the terracotta warriors our guide suggested a lunch place (price not included) and the food was very tasty and we sampled some local food. The information provided was also great. The drive to and from the warrior site is long, so it helps to have a nice chatty guide. Thank you for the great experience Richard. I think this is a very effective way to see Xian in one day.
I would definitely recommend this trip to anyone wanting to explore Xi'an. Phoebe kept in touch with us ahead of the trip and fetched us on time. She ensured that we had a great experience of the Terracotta Warriors, a wonderful lunch, an excellent introduction to the City Wall, and a thorough exploration of the Muslim Street and surrounds. Phoebe is an excellent tour guide and was most helpful with our questions.
This tour was a perfect mix of history, city walking activities and delicious food. Phoebe was a phenomenal guide and we had such a great time with her. She’s a great communicator and has a wealth of knowledge that she conveys in a way that’s entertaining and easy to absorb. Her communication with the driver was seamless and we didn’t waste one minute waiting in line for anything. I highly recommend this tour and Phoebe, especially if you have a short time in Xi’an.
Travelling on your own is not always easy, so i was very happy joining this small group tour. There were only 3 of us on this tour and it felt absolutely private. If you want to see Xian in a short time, this the tour to go for! I was so lucky to meet Xueling Gao, our fantastic guide! She was so knowledgable and absolutely professional. She guided us through CROWDS of visitors at the Terracotta Warriors Museums, walked us through the city wall and muslim street telling us absolutely unforgettable tales about Chinese Emperors. The tour is very well organised and well structured so that you see most of Xian in 1or 2 days. Absolutely go for it. This tour has exceeded my expectations of any possible customer service in China and all praise goes to Gao. She did a fantastic job making me want to return to Xian bringing my family.
As a solo traveller, I was lucky enough to enjoy a one day tour out with my guide Rosa which included the Terracotta Warriors, City Wall and Muslim Street. Rosa was very welcoming, professional and passionate about her job, providing loads of useful and interesting information on all aspects of the Terracotta Warriors, Xian City wall and Muslim Street. Everything worked like clock work and Rosa and driver were always on time, very polite and always fun. From pickup to hotel return, the day was a pleasure and I would highly recommend this tour with Rosa.
My family and I enjoyed our one-day tour of Xi'an, which included the Terracotta Warriors, the City Wall, and Muslim Street. Our tour guide, Sunny, was enthusiastic and incredibly knowledgeable about the city and each of the sites we visited. Sunny is very kind and helpful and it was a pleasure to have her as our guide to this beautiful city. The tour itself was great! We had the opportunity to see many attractions in a short amount of time and the provided lunch was tasty. There is flexibility to order food to meet specific dietary needs and preferences. The small group size allowed everyone on the tour to get to know one another. We toured with a young gentleman and enjoyed chatting with him during some of the longer drives. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Xi'an for a short period of time.
My husband and I were only in Xi'an for a day and wanted to see all the key sights without the hassle of travelling around ourselves. This tour was awesome. It was a small group of people and our guide, Lily, was fantastic. She was very knowledgable about the Terracotta Warriors and the city of Xi'an. We got to visit and do all the things we wanted to, including a bike ride along the city walls. Would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to learn more about the city with a good guide.
Went to the terracotta warriors via taxi due to rain cost was, $ 50 aus but we came back on 306 bus for 8 yuan this bus takes you to the xiang rail station then a bus to hotel 2yuan much more affordable and took about same time. You have to see the terracotta warriors to appreciate the magnitude of the site long walk to the entrance with every one pestering you to hire them as a guide do not buy tickets other than at the official ticket office to get bus 306 from the site exit the car park turn left and buses are in area opposite the next corner you come to. This is well worth the effort at 150y entry
I just finished a two-day tour of Xi’an, including the Terracotta Warriors, the City Wall, Muslim Street, Hanyang Tomb, TangBo Art Museum, Xi’an Museum and seeing the Wild Goose Pagoda. What a rich and incredible city! I loved every part of it. My guide, Elina, was extremely knowledgeable and eager to share the history and the story of everything we saw. Enthusiastic and passionate, she made the history come alive as she called attention to wonderful details I would never have seen on my own. The TangBo Art Museum was particularly enjoyable. As well, the city is beautiful with all the trees and greenery. The cultural wealth of Xi’an was a surprise for me—I highly recommend it.
My wife and I enjoyed our tour and learned a lot from our experience visiting the terracotta soldiers and Xi'an city. Loved the wall visit but wish we had more time to ride bikes the entire length of the wall; however, there just was not enough time. A big surprise was how interesting the Muslim quarter was at the end of our tour. You mustn't miss it. The only thing that kept us from giving this a five star is the fact that our guides English was not good enough for us to understand everything that was said . . . our brains had to strain to fill in the gaps which was a little frustrating considering how much we had to pay and giving the high ratings of this organization. Our guide does love what she does and is good at it . . . just needs to get better at speaking English.
Robbie, our China Highlights guide during our private tour of Xian, was full of passion and energy for his city and the sites we saw, and it was great fun being with him. He took us to make terracotta warriors, which I wasn’t sure I wanted to do, but it turned out to be a learning experience that helped us understand how difficult it must have been to create the terracotta warrior army so long ago. Robbie was extremely knowledgeable about the archaeological and the historical sites around the city, and many other things, as well. Robbie made Xian seem like a very nice place, and if we were relocating to China, we might very well to choose to live there, after his enthusiastic sales job! His recommendation for a restaurant in which to have dinner the evening we arrived in Xian was the best.
The tour started at 8 a.m. with the pickup in the hotel lobby. One evening before, Alena (our guide) still called in our hotel room to confirm the start of the tour and the pickup. After the greeting, a very comfortable car, including a conscientious driver, went off to the terra-cotta army. Everything was organized and Alena was able to provide a lot of background information. The traditional lunch afterwards was delicious. The tour on the city wall was a little bit stormy but Alena made the best of it. The Muslim Quarter with the drum and bell tower was the last highlight of the tour. After about 7.5 hours we were returned to the hotel with some new experience. This tour was more than worthwhile thanks to Alena. Clear recommendation!
A wonderful whole day Tour of Terracotta Army and Xian city with very lovely and very well oriented in the place's history tour guide Lily Lian. I had a great time in Xian
Xi'an has something for everyone - Terracotta warriors, obviously a must see; Tang Dynasty Show, not as obvious as the Terracotta warriors but really lovely; Muslim Quarter, for the insane food and general insanity; Drum Tower and Ancient City Walls for the views and bike ride. Robbie was our guide and amazingly took our "foodie" requests seriously. Not only did he meet us at the train station with delicious local snacks, instead of dinner at the Tang Dynasty Show, he suggested a food tour in the Muslim Quarter. This really meant Robbie would run around the market, grab us the best food, shove it in our faces as he answered our questions about the food. It was a truly memorable experience thanks to Robbie!
Ted, our tour guide for this portion of our tour was THE BEST! He was very knowledgeable, managed to always find a way to get us tucked in up front at the Terra Cotta soldiers and had insights that made the experience the absolute BEST. Without Ted, our visit would NOT have been the same. He made the experience truly a 5 star visit (out of 5!). He was SMART, was very flexible and found a way to connect and engage at every opportunity. I would not hesitate to recommend China Highlights but even more so, Ted for Xi'an. He is clearly a very intelligent individual and our time spent together flew by as we were always busy talking or sharing experiences.
We had a great tour of Xi An with China Highlights in mid-April. Our tour guide, Lily, is very helpful and professional. She shared lots of interesting facts with us and made our trip so enjoyable. Our two boys enjoyed the activities of making terra cotta and making dumplings. To me, Terra Cotta, Hua Mountain, and the Museum are highlights of my trip. The tour is great for all ages.
Along with the Great Wall and forbidden City the Terrecotta Warriors are an absolute must, amazing, along with our wonderful guide Ted, from China Highlights it was a joy to behold.
Our family just arrived home from a wonderful tour in China using China Highlights as our agents and tour guides. We started our vacation in Beijing for 3 days and ended our time in Xi'An for the last 4. We took the bullet train from Beijing to Xi'An and was greeted there by our Xi'An tour guide, Christina. Christina was outgoing and very welcoming from the beginning. We had a private 15 person van for our group of 6 the entire time we were on the trip. Our group consisted of 2 children (6&9 yrs old) and 4 adults (37,40 and 2-64 yr olds). We saw the Terracotta Warriors, Wild Goose Pagoda, Muslim Quarter, Coutryside Village, Gao's Courtyard, and much more. Christina was always accommodating to us for bathroom breaks and sensitive to our comfort level with pace or crowds. She was incredibly knowledgeable and welcomed all questions we had, including the kids' questions. Our trip to China was one of our favorite trips and we know it was all because of this tour company and especially because of our guide, Christina.
We were picked up from the airport and started our tour of Xian with Robbie who was an excellent tour guide. He was knowledgeable, helpful and funny. We later got to see the wall and Muslim area. The terracotta warriors were impressive. He transported us back to airport after an overnight hotel stay at a first class hotel and help us check-in. I would use China Highlights again
Lily Liu was our dependable guide for 3 full days as we toured terracotta soldiers and Xian city's attractions. We travelled in the comforts of an MPV. She speaks very good English, making history come alive in the various attractions. She is responsible and made every thing smooth for us without being over bearing or too soft. When it came to lunch, she understands that we do not like to eat in smoke filled dining areas and put us in private rooms. Even her choice of food was tailored carefully to our taste. When we gave her feedback, she dealt with them immediately. There was not a moment that we felt she could have done better - because she was giving her best. If we visit Xi'an again, we will use Chinahighlights and request for Lily.
Xi'an was especially great for our kids. China Highlights hooked us up with Ted as our guide. He was fun and energetic! He was flexible to accommodate our needs including our 2 children... ages 10 and 12. He took us around and we did not have to wait in any lines for any of the locations we saw. He is personal and friendly, and we really liked getting to hear his insights as an insider. He was wonderful for our family! He took us to some great places to eat too! I would highly recommend China Highlights to anybody traveling to Xi'an. It was an outstanding experience! I think Xi'an is a must on any trip to China. Seeing the Terra Cotta Warriors is really amazing and is so important in Chinese history. The city wall is such a neat thing to see and riding a bike on the city wall was fun for the whole family. Don't miss going to the Muslim quarter at night too... what a sight! All of those activities can be done in a day without a problem. We spent another day going to Huashan Mountain. It is absolutely beautiful but requires strenuous walking up/down lots of stairs. This was an experience we will not forget.

Rosa's narrative of the history of Xi'an was very well done. And the lunch was excellent. No complaints here except the torrential rain !

We booked a one week, 2 person tour of the Middle Kingdom with China Highlights after some friends of ours toured with them last year and highly recommended the service. We were not disappointed. After three great days in Beijing (Great Wall, Temple of Heaven, Forbidden City, etc.), we caught the high speed train to Xi'an. Our guide Ken and our driver Mr. Lui met us at the train station and handled everything from there. The next day we saw a couple of small museums in the morning, and then the terra-cotta warriors in the afternoon. Evening was a traditional Chinese musical show about the country's only female emperor. Fascinating stuff, and Ken (who speaks English very well, better than our first guide) was able to provide all kinds of background information. He was ever cheerful and made a great trip even greater. I would highly recommend him as a guide if you are going to Xi'an.
The only private tour we booked with China Highlights was in Xi'an with Rocky. We only had a day in Xi'an so we wanted to make the most of it. Rocky met us at the train station in the morning with a 6 passenger van and took us straight to the muslim quarter. We tried a little bit of almost everything there was to eat there and also had time for some shopping and sightseeing. Then we went to a local restaurant serving typical food for Shaanxi. After lunch we went to the Terra Cotta Warrior museum. Rocky was very knowledgeable and the whole visit was much more interesting and informative than if we had gone on our own. The warriors and other artifacts themselves were amazing and definitely one of the high points of our time in China. At the end of the day Rocky made sure we made it back to the train station in time for our train to Luoyang. We used China Highlights to book multiple train trips through out China over the course of a 25 day visit that ended just as the mad travel rush for Chinese New Year was beginning. We booked a total of 7 train trips with them while visiting Shanghai, Moganshan, Huzhou, Nanxun, Luoyang, Xian, Beijing, and Harbin. They were amazing. For several legs there was a good chance that tickets would sell out almost as soon as they went on sale because of the season. They were able to suggest alternative trains or tickets and in the end found us every ticket we needed and then delivered them all to our hotel in Shanghai before we arrived. All for a minimal fee. I can't imagine any reason to book train tickets in China any other way. Thanks!
Seeing the Terracotta Warriors was a once in a lifetime experience, all enhanced by our excellent tour guide - Phoebe. We toured the site in January so be prepared for very cold temperatures, particularly when visiting pit #1 where most of the soldiers have been unearthed. There were only 3 of us visitors on the tour, practically a private tour. We had all the time we wanted to admire the terra-cotta warriors, take photographs, and read written descriptions at the site. Crowds were fairly sparse the day we visited so there was no issue at all walking up to the railing and display cases to view the warriors. Audio equipment as well as binoculars were provided by China Highlights so we never missed out on any of Phoebe's commentary. After visiting the terra-cotta warriors, we had a late lunch at a Muslim restaurant on the way back to Xi'an - one word, delicious! We then walked along the ancient Xi'an City Wall, and then toured the Muslim Quarter. We found the Muslim Quarter fascinating, vibrant, and only wished we had been there at night as well. A final note about China Highlights. We booked 4 tours through China Highlights during our travels throughout China - this being our first time in the country, we placed a tremendous amount of faith in China Highlights and it never disappointed. All of our guides called us at our hotel the night before to confirm the pickup time, were punctual, fluent in English, and delightful to spend the day with. Hats off to China Highlights for making our trip to China so memorable.
This was my second time to the Terracotta warriors and I got so much more out of it with Ken as my guide. On the 1 hour drive to the warriors he gave us the history and details of the area. At the site, we took our time, he pointed out details I would have missed, and gave us space. Lastly, when we exited he walked us our a different way so there weren't any hawkers. It was an awesome experience.
First time to Xi'an after many trips to China and I am so glad that we took the time to hire Ken as our Tour Guide to see the Terracotta Warrior Museum. You can walk the Museum by yourself but you will not get the great history of these fine pieces of art. Ken has a wealth of knowledge on the subject. After the museum he took us to a great Chinese lunch and then onto the walled city where again he had a lot of knowledge and history regarding this site. Ken's English was perfect. A very personable tour guide with a passion to share all his knowledge of the subject matter. HOGHLY RECOMMEND booking a tour with Ken.
Thank you to Rosa, our Tour Guide, for giving us (six Canadians) an unforgettable day! An amazing story teller, she had us all enthralled with the history of the Terra Cotta Warriors. Her command of the English language is first rate. She handled all ticket purchases for the day (Terra Cotta Warriors & Xian City Wall), and got us our bikes which made for a very worry free day. The lunch was an experience all on its own, featuring high quality, delicious food. Then on to the city wall, with more facinating history and a fun tandem bike ride! Our last stop at the Muslim Quarter, was so worthwhile. Exotic food, unique markets and a fun atmosphere. Rosa gave us excellent tips on how to bargain for items, which was invaluable! Every stop we made was top notch and we never felt rushed by Rosa. We received unbelievable value for what we paid and did not have to worry about a thing. I am unreserved in HIGHLY recommending Rosa & China Highlights.
October 19, 2017 - Terracotta Warriors Museum in Xian, China. My husband and I had our entire western China tour including Tibet and the Potala Palace in Lhasa arranged by Robert Hui of China Highlights including hotel lodgings. We have been to Beijing, Shangai, Hangzhou, Xian, Guangzhou and the Yangzi River, some cities several times. This part of western China we have not visited and there are very few tour companies in the western world arrange tours to this part of western China because they are unfamiliar and have little or no contact with Chinese tour operators. We found China Highlights online and read excellent reviews about their tours including their past clients Bill Clinton and Bill Gates, I was told. We had an excellent experience working with Robert Hui, the tour planner to the Paypal payment and the entire western China tour experience was safe, comfortable, excellent western style 4-5 star accommodatios. Our tour to western China was from October 8 to November 1, 2017. I plan to post our experience in every city on Trip Advisor, but I, most likely, have to do it on 15 reviews due to the space restrictions on Trip Advisor, I assume. So, if you are interested in visiting the western part of China, look for my review which I will try to post every few days. I have to explore how Trip Advisor categorize their travel reviews. October 19, 2017 - Terracotta Warriors Museum in Xian, China. This morning we left the fabulous Wyndham Grand Residence in Xian which has luxurious and spacious condos next to the Wyndham Hotel, Xian, arranged by Robert Hui of China Highlights. We visited the Terracotta Warrior Museum. Just about everywhere you go in China, all they have is land. World known museums such as the Terracotta Warriior Museum generally have ample large area to accommodate long lines of large number of Chinese and some foreign visitors. In the summer high season months, our guide, Mr. Hufeng Yuan, informed us there would be over 100,000 visitors to the museum every day. People are curious, the Chinese citizens have been ruled and restricted by their communist government for 6 decades. Now that a middle class has emerged in China who have the ability to make and spend money, they would flock to the cities that they have heard so much about during any holiday. The high season for the Chinese citizens is from May to October 8 when the National Holiday ends. The high season for foreigners is from October to the end of November and sporadically over the year when they dare to wait in line for hours as the Chinese do. Check on the rainy season of the cities you lan to visit. It could be in May or so. I chose to visit when there are smaller crowds and even today's visitors would be at least 10,000. We went into the museum this morning at 10 a.m. and there was hardly any lines. When we left at 3 p.m., the line was a mile long and at certain areas inside the museum, there were huge crowds gathered. Among the many thousand terracotta warriors and horses excavated, they only found one warrior that was in perfect condition. They also found a command center where the tool each warrior held in their hand in the command center were not weapons for war, but a blunt object with a small round cylinder at the end of a long handle as if it was use to direct the warriors instead of using it to fight. There are certain areas that they have not able to figure out how to excavate because poison gas was emitted upon excavation, so they covered it up and are conducting more studies tofind out how to excavate safely. At lunch we had steamed fish which we were quite happy to have a change from the familiar Chinese menu but the day before we were able to get a chicken and mushroom pizza at the restaurant. Long time ago, Xian used to be the capital of China. We visited Xian's city wall which is about 40 feet thick and 60 feet tall. It has a moat surrounding the city. The city wall lights up at night, making the buildings bright and colorful. I have heard of the Tong Dynasty dinner show as being well known and quite a good show that everyone should see. So, our guide Mr. Yuan was kind enough to help us book our tickets and ordered the seat I wanted for best photography. We had lots of dumplings of various kinds of meat, pork, fish even tomato in a broth, dessert and a fruit dish accompanying the meal. The food was fair but the show was spectacular with their music and their colorful costumes. It was 70 minutes long and the cost was approximately U.S. $120 for two. We were picked up by our guide and driver at 7:15 p.m. and returned to the hotel at 8 p.m. after a drive through the well lit downtown. We were grateful that we got to see the show with the best seats for photography, a nice meal and a ride back to the hotel even though the guide and the driver had to wait outside for a couple of hours. Our guide, Mr. Yuan Hu Feng was one of the most flexible and accommodating guide during our Chinese tour. He has worked in Dubai, therefore, has much experience working with foreigners and is very adaptable and accommodating to foreign visitors' requests. For instance, we were so tired after walking through the Terracotta Warrior's Museum for three hours. It was close to lunch time and we were on a tight schedule because we planned to go to a show at 6 p.m. I asked that we sit down and have a cup of tea or coffee to relax, Mr. Yuan had no problem and took us to a tea house above the museum and let us relax and had a cup of tea. He is always so kind, telling us to take our time, so that we do not feel pressured whether he and the driver had to wait for us to finish our breakfast because we took time to exchange currency or wait two hours outside of the theater, even though we have tried to be punctual and keep to the schedule most of the time. It is 8 a.m. and we are checking out for more sightseeing at 9:30 p.m. I had about five hours of sleep on the couch, woke up at 4 a.m., took a shower, but now must get ready for breakfast. Unfortunately, I was unable to copy the uploaded 4 photos from AOL. We are flying to Chengdu later on to visit the Panda Reserve. Look for my other reviews od western Chinese cities. Bing from Los Angeles.
This tour was perfectly planned to fit everything in without a rush. Phoebe was very knowledgeable with great English, and we enjoyed the company of the other travelers. I can't imagine a better way to spend a day in Xi'an!
The Terracotta Army is as impressive as the patient work of archaeologists. Anna, our guide, was very kind to our very limited physical capabilities and explained us in detail the meaning and the of each statue. Anna' s English is amazing. She was completely able to understand me in spite of my poor pronunciation and bad grammar.
From pick-up in the morning at the hotel to the airport in the evening, everything was perfectly organized for us. Our guide spoke very good English and was able to give us a lot of information and stories about the Terracotta Army, the city of Xi' an and a lot of general information about China and life in China. At the Terracotta Army our guide knew good abbreviations, the places where you can see best and the best toilets on site. The cycling tour over the city walls and through the Muslim quarter was also a lot of fun and rounded off the day.
I loved the city tour and visiting the Terracota Warriors. Our guide was very friendly and inquisitive, told us about the history and about the restoration work of the warriors. Excellent!
Amazing excursion, well designed in the schedules, perfect guide (Lisa) safe, reliable, empathetic and pending that we know all the details of the visit, perfect English. Unbeatable in everything
Our guide Amy was great! We were picked up directly from our hotel and led to the terracotta warriors, she led us to the best photo spots and also told a lot of historical background. In the afternoon we went downtown after a delicious lunch. Again, super interesting background information. Thank you Amy!
Excellent Service by Trippest Travel, small group, guide always attentive to our needs, good English language management and with extensive knowledge of the attractions visited, the food was good, access to Terracotta Warriors and Ancient City Wall very good, amazing places that wonder, Muslim Street amazing place to shop and try other styles of food. 100% recommended buy your tours with Trippest Travel (China Highlights) on your next trip to China.
Beautiful tour well organized, down to the smallest detail (pickup, water, microphone, binoculars, no queue, lunch a la carte, etc...). Guide very prepared, passionate and helpful with an impeccable command of English. Highly recommended!
The tour program fell on May 1. A lot of tourists, but that didn't stop you from seeing all the pavilions and exhibits. Beautiful park.
Xi'an surprises you with its warriors and its modernity made up of luxury hotels, clean streets full of fountains and statues. We thank china highlights who organized us perfectly our tour and our perfect guide.
