Celine was fantastic guide! Though the venue is crowded, she guided us what are the best spot to take photos while explaining the details of what is at that spot. If I ever come back to Xi'an, I would recommend her to be the guide.

A very well-organized trip. The Terracotta Army Museum is a popular tourist destination, so expect crowds. Our guide, Jacky, took us to places where we could take a look and a photo (all you need is a bit of patience; once visitors photograph the spot, they move out and make space). The lunch was nice - the buffet contained so-called 'western food' - spaghetti, chicken, potato salad, etc.- so people who miss this type of food could have it. Fortunately, there were local dishes as well - noodles were nice. Jacky also had good knowledge and answered all the questions. In summary, I definitely recommend the trip. The Terracotta Army is something one just has to see in Xi'an.

The tour started on time. We were picked up from the hotel perfectly. Very easy to communicate with our guide, Celine - she messaged a few days before and made sure our pickup point is good. There is water onboard and you can leave your stuff in the car. So if it’s cold in the morning you can get a jacket and then leave it inside. The tour was very comprehensive because our guide had a very good English skill. Very good accent and was very knowledgeable. She pointed us good spots for pics and made sure we are on time. Reccommend.
You get to see all the highlights of Xi'an in one day without the need to plan your way! My guide, Celine, was very upbeat and full of knowledge. She picked us up from out hotel and even found ways to accommodate and plan for others in my group who had to leave early! You get ample time to see everything and if we finished early, we just moved on to the next spot earlier. The buffet was also a nice touch, definitely try the soup noodles and "chinese hamburger." Definitely recommend, and hope you get Celine!

I can’t recommend Rita highly enough. She guided us through so much of China’s rich history, and each stop felt like a story rather than a checklist. At the Terracotta Warriors, Rita gave context that made the scale of the site sink in. She explained how the army was built and why it was buried with the first emperor, and she pointed out details I would have walked right past, like the individual faces and hairstyles of the soldiers. She also knew how to move through the crowds, so we got the best views without feeling rushed. At the Wild Goose Pagoda, she shared the history of the monk Xuanzang and his journey to India to bring back Buddhist scriptures. Hearing the story while standing in front of the pagoda made it far more meaningful than reading a plaque. She chose the perfect time of day to visit, with great lighting for photos. The City Wall and Muslim Quarter were a perfect way to end the day. Rita offered fun facts about the wall’s defensive design, and made sure we had time to take in the views over the city. She even got a great video of me biking the ramparts! Throughout the tour, Rita was warm, patient, and clearly passionate about her hometown. Her English was excellent, she answered every question with enthusiasm, and made a full day feel easy. If you’re visiting Xi’an, book Rita. She turned a great itinerary into a truly memorable experience. Thank you, Rita!

Additionally having Rita to guide through the Terra Cotta Museum was the best. If you’re wavering, just booking the tour for that part alone is worth it since it’s so packed. The guided visit to the terracotta warriors museum with our tour guide, Roger, was excellent! The pickup from our hotel was punctual despite road blocks caused by the city marathon. What a super tour we had with our guide Rita! Very good contact in advance of pick up and faultless communication. She took care to give us an excellent account of Chinese dynastic and imperial history, beginning right back at the Zhou period. It was a pleasure to learn so much from a very good communicator, before we reached the Qinshihuang mausoleum and during our tour of the exhibitions. The stories about the Wild Goose Pagoda and Buddhist history were also very interesting.
