This 2-day private tour of Xi'an was the perfect way for me and my parents to experience the city's highlights without any stress. We saw an incredible amount: the awe-inspiring Terracotta Warriors, the vibrant Muslim Quarter for delicious food, the historic City Wall at the West Gate, the serene Big Goose Pagoda, the Bell Tower, and a charming Cultural Street. The itinerary was perfectly paced for my parents, engaging but never rushed. Everything was well-organized and seamless. Our guide Jasmine was fantastic—highly recommend!

Itinerary
Day 1
1
You will be picked up at 8:00AM in the lobby of hotel and then About 1 hour’s driving, you will get to one of the greatest sights of China ---the magnificent terra-cotta warriors museum. Thousands of life-sized soldiers, each with different expressions and horses. All companions for the burial of the first emperor of China.—he is also builder of the Great Wall. The terra -cotta Warriors museum is located within a large mausoleum complex built by Qin Shi Huang.
After lunch, you'll have an opportunity to get a glimpse of an intangible cultural heritage that is quickly disappearing in central plain areas-the lifestyle of cave dwellers. You'll visit the home of Mrs. Huang, who is one of the last remaining cave dwellers in this small village. You will tour her home and learn about the history and changes of cave dwelling residents, and have a chance to ask her questions. .
In the afternoon, you will get to the downtown to climb the Bell tower. It is a classical building with carved beams and painted rafters. It stands in the center of the downtown area where the north street , the South Street, the East Street and the West Street meet.It houses a huge bell which was originally used to strike time every morning in ancient time.
Finish your busy day by discovering Xian's Muslim heritage,so you will stroll down Muslim Street, Xian's street-food epicenter: sample Chinese Muslim food from lamb kebabs to noodles and pancakes, and watch the food which is cooked before your eyes.

Lunch will be done on the intangible cultural gourmet street, where you can feast yourself on any kind of food . You can enjoy local Han people's snack and food at the different small workshop. The dilemma will be in choosing.
After lunch, you will visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda which has been standing in the Buddism temple for more than 1300 years and is deemed as the symbol of ancient xi’an city. XUANZANG ,the famous monk of Tang dynasty obtained the Buddhist scripture from India and translated these scriptures in this temple.

We embark on an immersive adventure in Xi'an with our tour guide Jasmine. It started with a visit to the Terracotta Warriors and an amazing Silk Road show. For lunch we savoured Biang Biang Noodles which are very delicious. On the next day we enjoyed a bike ride along the ancient city wall, taking in stunning views. Explored the bustling Muslim Quarter, enjoying a dumpling feast for lunch. End the day with a visit to the bell tower and music fountain in front of the famous pagoda. Overall, well-organized, authentic food, and endless fun await in this historical city. Thanks again to Jasmin our fabulous tour guide.
Jasmine was friendly, warm hearted, articulate, knowledgeable about everything Xian! Very organized and on time , great communicator of the plan . She made our trip a great memory !
Two fantastic days with Jasmin and her driver. Day 1 in the heart og Xian and the city wall. Day 2 at the Terracotta mausoleum. Great! Jasmin is a fantastic host and a historical oracle. Great to be entertained and enlighted in her proximity. Thx. Jasmin!
Xi'an City Wall: As one of the most preserved ancient city walls in China, it is a landmark attraction of Xi'an. the Terracotta Army, Known as the eighth wonder of the world, Bell and Drum Towers, Greater Wild Goose Pagoda, Datang Everbright City and a lot of delicious food.
Our tour guide was so knowledgeable! She made our tour so interesting. I am so glad we decided to take it.
A very interesting tour. Jasmine has so much of knowledge and information about details, impressing. We unfortunately were not allowed to visit some places because of Covid, by she made a plan for us which was both informative and interesting. Recommendable.
Jasmine was terrific. She allowed us to create an itinerary of what we wanted to see and even made suggestions. Excellent and friendly personality and well knowledge of Xian and site’s history. We made a great choice. Highly recommended Ms. Jasmine Her contact no: +86 13991826430
We were two families with 4 adults and 4 kids. Day 1 was tailored toward the adults and Day 2 the kids, but everyone enjoyed all the activities and sightseeing. We aren't the fastest bunch, but Jasmine was so incredibly accommodating and gracious. We tried to pack as much in two days as we could and enjoyed every minute. Jasmine provided so much information along the drive that kept the kids engaged and excited for the days activities. She selected restaurants where the locals eat away from the tourist areas and the food was amazing. We did a food tour in the Muslim quarter and hit traffic right in the middle of the tour. Jasmine worked hard to ensure we maximized our time by running around buying delicious snacks and drinks then brought it to us while we waited in the tuk-tuks for traffic to clear up. The Terracotta Warriors are incredible and a must see, but there are so many wonderful things to see in Xi'an, we recommend doing at least a 2 day tour and pack in as much as you can. Xi'an has been one of our all time favorite vacations and we believe it has a lot to do with how well Jasmine took care of us!
Our tour did not warrant two days. Our guide was very good the first day but the next day she did not want to be there. We chose a one hour lunch the first day and dropped home at five pm. The next day we did not climb the wall. And we’re dropped hom at one pm.
We had an amazing time in Xian with two children - the private tour was very accommodating and educational. Tour schedule was crafted much to suit our needs. Xian has such unbelievable rich history and seeing the Terracota warriors just was an experience not to be missed! Thanks to Jasmine, Linda and Mr Feng for this unforgettable trip!
We had a busy but wonderful visit to Xi'an thanks to Jasmine! She managed for us to see a lot in 1.5 days... the Terracotta Warriors, farmers house, Muslin St., shadow puppet show, artist quarters and we had a delicious lunch (and other good restaurant recommendations). Thank you!
Our tour guide Jasmine Bai was very knowledgeable about the history of Xian and all the attractions. She met our group at the train station at a very late hour and guided us to the hotel for a good night sleep before we began our tour next day. Our 2 days were filled with lots of history, culture and unique experiences. She was able to accommodate our diverse interests and responded timely to all questions. She modified schedules to suit young kids in our group. We really enjoyed interactions with jasmine and our Xian tour and will seek her assistance for future visits to Xian and surrounding area. We highly recommend her for any structured group tour. -MkeP -
I did a two-day structured tour with Tina, which was organised through QANTAS Airways before I left Australia. Seeing the Terracotta Warriors on the first day was the highlight, but only because it was so high up in my “Bucket List”. Spending the second day exploring Xi’an itself was equally enjoyable. I do enjoy history, so walking along the wall of the old imperial city on the second day was also a highlight. We all have different interests when it comes to travelling, so I don’t think that me running a longer commentary on the different tourist attractions in and around Xi’an would add further value. What I did really want to share is that over the two days, I came to think of Tina as a friend showing me the sites and tourist attractions rather than as a tour guide. Even though my time in Xi’an was 3 weeks ago, I still keep in contact on social media. As a final comment: Tina spoke good English, she has a good understanding of the history of what she was showing me, and was able to answer all of my questions. The driver was also very friendly, which is not always the case.
My husband and I found Jasmine here on TripAdvisor and we were so pleased with our experience with her from start to finish. Jasmine was really fast to answering emails and very flexible with planning and personalising our tour. We only had 1 day and half in Xian but Jasmine agreed to make the first day a very long day so we visited the Terracotta Warriors museum, TangBo Art Museum with calligraphy lesson, Xian City Wall, Bell and Drum Tower, Muslim Quarter and the Great Mosque. The 2nd day we went to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the Shaanxi History Museum. Jasmine’s English is excellent and depth of knowledge in Xian is outstanding. We have learned a lot from here about Chinese history, culture, tradition and every day life. We also asked a lots of questions and she had an answer for everything. Jasmine also organized a transfer for us from and to the Xian North railway station. Jasmine is the best tour guide we have had the pleasure to travel with, and have no hesitation in recommending her services. I really hope one day we can go back to Xian and discover the rest of Xian with her.
