Great location huge supermarket hidden next door staff are respectful and try their best to help, only wish they didn't allow smoking. The smokers made my stay unpleasant as they smoke in the rooms with open doors. Xi'an is a great city worth visiting.
I had a fantastic stay at the Xi'an Bell Tower Huimin Street Mercure Hotel (Hotel’s name in Amap). The location is perfect—very close to the Bell Tower, Muslim Quarter, and the metro station, making travel so easy. The staff were all lovely and provided exceptional service. Just 250m from metro Beidajie line 2 (red line). About 25minutes from Xi’an north railway station. Surrounding area has all you must see, must eat, must do in Xi’an Little bit crowded and be prepared to walk with electric motorcycle Bell tower and Ancient wall just walking distance from this hotel Check in was so smooth, got welcome drink (tea without sugar, and this is my favorite), got upgrade room to suite at 10 floor. Amenities in room was superb. Slippers 🥿, razor blades, toothbrush, shower cap, toilet separate from shower room and has bidet. This is great 😊. Breakfast from 7-10am at lobby floor. Payable breakfast was 99yuan per person. Welcome fresh fruit available in room. Fluffy white towels and has fluffy bathrobe . View from room? Top of Bell tower 🥰 They provide free sodas and coffee machine in suite room.
I am really pleased to have spent 8 days at the Mercure Hotel, Xi'an Bell Tower Muslim Street, in February 2025. It has an amazing staff, led by the outstanding Mr. Fan Yu Gan (范玉干). They went above and beyond in helping guests, making their stay comfortable, and solving all sorts of situations one might encounter while traveling in China. The location is perfect, situated in the center of downtown Xi'an, adjacent to the famous Muslim Quarter—where one can indulge in all sorts of delicious and one-of-a-kind local foods. The room is equipped with ample modern conveniences for the guests' comfort, including a state-of-the-art toilet. The housekeeping service is impeccable. There’s also a well-equipped gym and a self-service laundry room. I was particularly impressed by the buffet breakfast, which offered a large variety of options and had a chef on duty cooking to the guests' liking. All in all, I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel as a home away from home while exploring this ancient Chinese city.
the best hotel experience, period. they are so welcoming to us, they also ask us what they need off the administration table, even when we are at the lounge they also offer us a FREE dinner after we asked if we can get some food anywhere outside the hotel. they say, "are you guys from overseas?" i said "yes". and then they just give us dinner just for free, only limited cuisines though. free water bottle, just ask them
