Unfortunately for an American chain the hotel is somewhat disappointing.
When asking for ice it took 20 mins for me to get it though room service and that's only because I went down to find out what was happening.
The manager who I was speaking to halfway just walked off and I couldn't even ask what the status was.
When I asked the other staff whether I could send feedback to the General Manager she said I had to wait for the original front desk manager to come back. It's as if they did not want him/her to know how bad the service was.
Eventually when they filled up my glass it was a few cubes of ice and that was that.
Aside from that the room was mediocre with a lot of noise from the street. Toilets and bathrooms were not clean, smell of old cigarettes in the room.
Poor experience. Charged us extra for "dirty" towels. Unprofessional.
The best hotel room i have ever seen
Terrible. First of all, they nickel-and-dime you for everything. Despite how expensive the hotel is, they still charge extra for internet! And they have an extra "premium" internet service which costs twice as much. Not only that, I had housekeeping staff STEALING CLOTHING from my room. Unbelievable in any hotel, let alone a Hilton. The front desk was incredibly unhelpful about it. Wouldn't recommend to anyone. Hilton are usually a great chain but they really lowered their standards with this one. I would recommend the Wudong Int'l Hotel as a far superior alternative. Maybe there people don't steal clothes out of your room.
