Lindeth Howe Hotel

I thought I'd finally leave a review after my third stay! This is a fabulous hotel with fantastic service where nothing is too much trouble. The views across the garden and Lake Windermere are fantastic and it's so peaceful. I really love the decor, it's unique without being tacky. The food is fab as well. I've booked again for my fourth stay next year already.

My wife and I recently booked a restaurant dinner table as non residents at this superb and beautifully located hotel. The duty staff members at the time of our visit; Aaron, Jodie and Mark were truly exceptional and the stylish ambience of the restaurant and the hotel itself is a quite unique experience. Our visit here will live long in our memories and we would strongly recommend this hotel to fellow travellers seeking high quality, picturesque, tranquil surroundings. Best hotel entry access point is from A592 Windemere side, onto Longtail Hill and then right turn onto A5074, which leads to signposted Hotel entrance driveway.

Really enjoyed our one night stay here. Hotel is set in beautiful grounds. Loved the quirky decor in the bar and lounge. Top notch breakfast cooked to order and extensive food choices at other times of the day.

Stayed here on numerous occasions over the past couple of years but unfortunately haven't managed to stay recently due to circumstances. We were able to stay again in September and the place, thankfully hasn't changed. It is still a five star hotel in our eyes. From the reception to housekeeping we cannot fault it. It is tastefully decorated, all the rooms are comfortable and well furnished with a very good breakfast if you decide to indulge yourself. No it is not the cheapest place around but believe me we have tried quite a few in this area and Lindeth is by far the best, and, as the saying goes you get what you pay for. Try it you won't be disappointed.
