We had a great stay here on our recent walking holiday. The rooms were clean and the beds were so comfortable! We also appreciated the nice bath products and fun decor. The views of the river were really lovely and they had a cozy fire going in the pub to take off the chill. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed the Crown Inn for 2 nights while hiking in the region and I highly recommend it for food and for a stay. Rhe Inn is perfectly located in Pooley Bridge with 2 stories of patios right on the water. The rooms were cozy, clean and comfortable. The pub served delicious meals, with a fully stocked bar. The staff were incredibly friendly and professional. You’ll love the atmosphere of the pub and Inn. It’s a perfect place to stay while in the Lake District.
An excellent place to stay. We stopped off on the way up to Scotland. The rooms were very clean with modern, tartan themed styling. We had a twin room at the top of the hotel which was quiet and airy. The food was excellent and although there are lots of tables and it was busy, the service was very good. There is lots to do in the vicinity. We had a nice walk around the lakeside and sat in the evening next to the river. Idyllic really. The price was very reasonable given the situation in a popular area. Many thanks, we will be back.
We recently stayed here for two nights and wanted to extend our stay—it was that good! The staff were so friendly, and it's a very dog-friendly place with an additional goodie bag for our dog, which was a lovely touch. There's plenty of tea and coffee in the rooms. I'm a bit of a coffee snob, but we had a coffee machine as well as decent coffee bags! (It's not very often you get this.) We did have a room upgrade completely free, which was a lovely bonus. The view was stunning; the room was comfortable and clean and replenished daily. The bar area out the back is one of the best beer gardens. The breakfast was absolutely delicious with so much choice! I will absolutely stay here again. We ate here twice on an evening; the fish and chips and Caesar salad were spot on. I had a pizza, which wasn't the best. It is a little pricey, but we came away feeling it was worth it.
Spent a few hours at the Crown after a cold, wet walk on the fells. Received a super welcome and a few well needed drinks in a lively atmospheric pub. Wonderful setting, both inside and out. Decided to come back and eat later that evening. Attentive staff, perfectly cooked steak, super cheeseboard and amazing pudding of Greek yoghurt and lemon fool, with strawberry compote and raspberry sorbet - heavenly. Will definitely return to this pub again.
