Came in on a cruise ship and only had 6 hours. He knew all the best places and we were always 1 step ahead of the big tours. Covered quite a bit of ground, but still had a relaxing time and really enjoyed ourselves. The beaches, a super nice restaurant on a bluff, and plenty of local insight. Don’t hesitate, book it while it is still available to you. Thanks!!

We went to two different snorkeling spots at Westpunt..the first spot definitely had a lot of turtles due to the fact that fisherman clean their fish there. The 2nd snorkeling spot was much better than the first..lots of tropical fish and some huge fan coral. Stopped at another beach to have a look, then to a place for lunch on the way back to the ship. We saw several iguanas and a courageous young woman cliff-diving from about 40 feet. Sihen was great and willing to take us anywhere we wanted to go. All in all, a great experience.

Sihen is awesome! We thoroughly enjoyed our adventure. This seems like one of the few excursions that allows you to see as much as you would like. You can go as fast or slow as you want at each destination. Swim with the turtles, see the flamingos, swim in the most popular beach, go to the national park, or let sihen take you to the quieter beaches. He also has great lunch suggestions of local places. Sihen is the only tour guide so you don’t have to worry about getting someone different when you book. Sihen will take awesome care of you.

This was the best way to see the island. I wouldn’t do it any other way. The service was impeccable and we were able to adapt our trip as we went. It felt like we were able to see things only locals would know about. When I go back to Curaçao, I’ll be booking this again!

PART 1 -The land tour was fantastic. Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly and amazing.!! I would book this tour every time I came back to Curacao. We loved him ! The vehicle was air-conditioned and comfortable, and he was very pleasant to spend the day with! HOWEVER PART 2 The Guide subs out the boat ride to the blue room cave to his family friend— ( Captain Good life )I would recommend not booking that tour through them. The boat ride was filled with nonstop, cigarette smoke, constant swearing , old men mooning the people on the boat , non stop drinking and non- friendly atmosphere to families. You pay $35 pp extra to be a part of a floating ghetto. The captain of the boat was balancing a cigarette in his mouth, but he was trying to help a woman get back up while ashes were falling in her face— he was drinking while he was driving the boat and at one point almost hit the snorkeler in the water that were next to him. We have traveled all over and had many many boat rides, and never have experienced such an unprofessional setup. If I was booking a boat ride when I was 23 with all of my college partying buddies, this is what I would expect. There was more than one family on here ( and then the party group and then our family ) and it was very uncomfortable very unpleasant and absolutely would never book this boat ride again .

We had an absolutely amazing private tour in Curaçao with Sihen! From the moment he picked us up, he was welcoming, friendly, and made us feel like we were just hanging out with a friend who happened to know all the best spots on the island. Not only did he take us out, but he also took on the very official role of “pool noodle tow service” and pulled me back to the boat for fun. Honestly, 10/10 customer service—above and beyond. He also let me add a couple of my Canadian friends from the cruise last minute without hesitation. They had such a great time and are genuinely sad they can’t leave their own review—so this is officially from all of us! From start to finish, everything was seamless, relaxed, and genuinely fun. If you’re going to Curaçao and want a stress-free, personalized, and memorable experience, book with Sihen. You’ll feel like you made a new friend… who also conveniently gets you back to your ship on time.

This was the perfect private tour for our cruise stop in Curacao. We were able to see so much of the island and Sihan personalized the tour to what we wished to see. He got us a table at a wonderful restaurant with an incredible view. Swimming with the turtles was our favorite stop and he captured so many pictures and videos for us. Thank you for this experience. I only rated this as a 5 because there is not a 6. My wife and I did this last week with Sihen. He was fantastic and very knowledgeable about the things we wanted to see. My wife has mobility issues and he was very considerate and even prodded her along a bit to do things that he knew she would be capable of. He took the time to listen to her and plan things for her specific abilities. If we go back there we will definitely do this tour again to hang out with Sihen.

Wow what an absolutely amazing day with Sihen! From the moment we started, he made the entire experience unforgettable. He took us exactly where we wanted to go, the car ride was comfortable, the conversation was great, and the views… WOW. Truly spectacular! We visited some of the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever seen, had drinks on a cliff overlooking the ocean, enjoyed lunch on another cliff while watching people jump into the crystal-clear water below, swam with turtles, and saw the most incredible shades of blue water I’ve ever experienced. Everything about the day felt perfect. We booked a private tour because it was my boyfriend’s birthday and we wanted something more intimate and on our own schedule rather than being part of a group and it was absolutely the right decision. Sihen made the whole day feel relaxed, personal, and special. I would recommend him to anyone visiting Curaçao. It was truly worth it, and I can’t wait to come back and book another tour with him again!

What an amazing day with Sihen. He picked us at our hotel and took us for a full day adventure. We visited most beaches and bays on the west coast of Curaçao. He was a lot of fun to spend our day with. He is very knowledgeable of the island and places to visit. In our opinion, well worth the spend when you are visiting for the first time. Sihen was an absolutely wonderful tour guide!! He showed us the best beach spots on the west coast. We swam with the turtles st turtle beach...we saw the amazing blue waters of grote knipe and then went to a little known locals spot nearby and enjoyed some epic snorkeling. Afterwards he brought us to playa forti for a delicious lunch....local seafood!!! Afterwaords we stopped by bahia restaurant for some breathtaking views of lagun beach and some up close time with the uguanas! This was by far one of the best tours i have been on. His attention to our needs and where we wanted to explore made this daytime adventure much worth it. Book it before the opportunity is gone!

We had a wonderful experience on this tour. We were a little surprised when our cruise ship changed docking locations but Sihen communicated well and it all worked out. In the beginning we were a little concerned as he showed up in a Kia Sedan for 4 adults, a little tight but it was not a big issue. I would not hesitate to use Fun In The Sun again in the future.

We had an awesome day! This was the best excursion of our 14 day cruise! Sihen picked us up from the cruise port and drove us to the west side of the island. Our first stop was Playa Grandi where we swam with numerous turtles. Absolutely incredible! Then to another few beaches and overlooks. So beautiful all of them. Our favorite part was the Blue Room. A sea cave. Definitely worth the extra money for this amazing experience. Sihen even went snorkeling in with us to show us the way! We thought the turtles were incredible, but the sea cave was something we’ve never experienced before. It was awesome! We also were able to stop and see the flamingos. Sihen was a great tour guide. Don’t hesitate to do this amazing tour. We were never concerned about getting back to the ship on time. Sihen was confident and put our concerns to rest.

We had the most incredible private tour of Curaçao with Sihen and can’t recommend him enough! Our first stop was Turtle Beach for snorkeling, and on the way there Sihen surprised our two young daughters by stopping to get them fresh coconuts! So thoughtful! We brought our own snorkel gear, but Sihen also had equipment available and we ended up using his fins. He took so many amazing photos of our family snorkeling with the turtles! Memories we never would have captured on our own and something we’ll treasure forever. Next, we stopped for lunch at a local spot where we were seated right on the cliff with a breathtaking view. The food was absolutely incredible!! After lunch we visited two more beaches where we were able to cliff jump and swim in a lagoon. Once again, Sihen captured photos and videos for us which made the experience even more special. Throughout the entire day, Sihen provided cold bottled water, kept everything running smoothly, and made sure we were comfortable and having fun. He was kind, attentive, and truly went above and beyond to make this an unforgettable experience for our family. This private tour experience was so nice and laid back. We set the pace and chose which beaches to visit and for what length of time to spend on each beach. We loved the snorkeling at Grote Knip and saw lots of turtles at Piskado. Highly recommend! Only advise, bring your own beach towels.

This tour is what everyone should do when they arrive on the island. Sihen has a wealth of information. After decades in tourism across the Caribbean, Central and South America I have worked with many guides. Number one mistake travelers make is not establishing communications 24 hours before your pick up. Be patient as the island can distort timelines with traffic or cell issues. Sihen was great and offered many stops, explained how everything works on the island, and took us to the best beaches. Lunch was great and he seemed interested in learning ftom us too. Hes an entrepreneur at heart with plans to grow. He enjoys the water as much as we do, but hes in better shape than us. His offered snorkel gear was in great shape. I highly suggest using his services.

Sihen was great! We arrived at noon on the cruise so we had to revamp our tour. He let us customize our stops and leave things out. We started out going to the far end of the island and seeing the big wind turbines. We opted out of the National Park due to getting to island late. We tried to go to the blue room cave but because it was so late in the day it was high tide and not safe. Instead we went around the corner to a small reef to snorkel. On the way back to the dock the Coast Guard stopped us for a routine check but it was a little scary not knowing what was being said as we didn’t speak the language. It all worked out fine and we went on our way to the next stop. We had lunch at a little restaurant/bar at Playa Forti. Drinks were $5-6 and the seafood meal we split was more than enough for two people. Next stop was Playa Piskado for snorkeling. It was close to sunset so he wasn’t sure if there would be turtles or not. I guess they’re there early in the morning when the fishermen come in. We lucked out and actually saw three sea turtles and got to swim around with them. We requested to stay for sunset and it was beautiful. Watched it right there from the dock and got some beautiful pictures. Overall it was a great experience. I was a little nervous of course being in a place I don’t understand the language but Sihen spoke perfect English and was a great tour guide.

We had an amazing day with Fun in the Sun exploring the best of Curaçao! Our guide, Sihen, was absolutely fantastic—knowledgeable, fun, and made the whole experience unforgettable. We snorkeled at the Blue Room cave and even at a shipwreck, jumped off cliffs into the crystal-clear ocean at Grote Knip, snorkeled again at Playa Forti, and stopped along the route to see flamingos in their natural habitat. Sihen also drove us through downtown so we could see the shops and get a feel for the island’s culture. Everything was perfectly planned, relaxed, and so much fun. The island itself is breathtaking, and having a guide like Sihen made it even better. Highly recommend Fun in the Sun to anyone visiting Curaçao—you won’t be disappointed!

Knowing what I know now, I would skip the turtle swim and have more time with the iguanas. Sean was great! Let us set the pace and answered all our questions. Definitely add the blue room. A wonderful sight.

Views were great, but it's a very long ride to the beaches from the cruise port. The tour guide was nice, however, did not provide any history of Curacao. Just complete silence the whole 45 minute ride.. Unless we asked him a question.

This was by far the best day of our trip and the best way to experience the island. I knew I wanted to go beachhopping after getting to Sandals and realizing it has only a sorry excuse for a beach. Sihen picked us up right on time and drove us an hour away to the most magnificent beaches I’ve ever seen with crystal clear blue water and very few people—places we never would have found on our own. We snorkeled with sea turtles, jumped off cliffs, swam in the blue room, dove a shipwreck, cuddled iguanas, and found a ton of sea glass. Bring cash for tip because venmo doesn’t work down here and this tour is an absolute steal. He also provided snorkeling gear, water throughout the day, and snacks.

Sihen was great! I shared that I wanted to see the best beaches in Curaçao and as much of the island as possible, and he delivered! He even drove to a location where I could see a hole that the ocean had formed into coral/rock on the less developed part of the island (rough road to get there but so worth it - THANK YOU!) We then went to at least 5 beaches, including turtle beach (no turtles that morning!). He also took me to downtown Willemstad and Punda, and gave me time to grab some souvenirs. He came prepared with some cold water and snacks, which was appreciated, given it was a really hot day. And the car’s A/C worked great! He communicated easily via WhatsApp, was on time for the pick up, and was an excellent driver. I highly recommend this tour if you want a private, personalized way to see the island.

We had so much fun checking out what Curacao had to offer! Sihen was a great tour guide. We visited the National Park, a few beaches, Playa Jeremi was our favorite! We saw breathtaking views and he even stopped at a local grocery store so I could grab a bottle of blue curacao for less than the prices at the port. I was on the fence booking a tour through a third party, rather than the cruise line, however I am so glad I did!
