Half Day Off-road & Snorkel Safari

Great way to see the island! Susan at the Botanical Garden was so knowledgeable. I bought a few things. Zeric was so energetic, friendly, and knowledgeable about the island. The coral caves on the north side were great to see.

Q and Tisha were amazing tour guides in Curaçao! They made our ATV adventure fun, exciting, and unforgettable. If you’re looking for the best activities and great people to show you around the island, I highly recommend them! 🌴

Serving lunch at 3pm was not what we had in mind. Especially having children who were starving. If you want to starve all day this is the trip for you.

Kevin our guide made this tour outstanding and fun. He was so knowledgeable and engaging! The off roading in the oversized “Jeep” was cool! Just know getting to the cave can be very challenging! Make sure you wear trail or other sturdy shoes. The snorkeling was fun as well.

I had a great time on this excursion! It was a good balance of knowledge, nature, and adventure. Trevor was a good driver, hospitable, and always made sure we were comfortable and enjoying our time. It also helped that he was nice to look at :). Both him and the other tour guide were welcoming, made me feel comfortable as a solo traveler, and encouraged me to conquer my fear of heights. I would definitely recommend this excursion for both solo and group travelers!

Fun excursion from a cruise ship that gave us a nice taste of curaçao in a couple of hours. A great and friendly guide added a nice local flair.

I highly recommend this tour. It beautifully highlights our island’s flora and fauna in great detail, making it both educational and enjoyable. The tour guides are knowledgeable, friendly, and give clear explanations about the island’s history and nature. The experience is well organized, relaxing, and engaging from start to finish. To top it off, you get to unwind for a few hours at a stunning beach, making this tour the perfect mix of adventure, learning, and relaxation.

Ray did a great job. Visit to Diana Veeris herb garden with a zen tour from her son. Then an amazing visit to the south end of the island via two track bumpy route. Finished with snorkeling off the beach.

Wear close toed shoes for the hike. Not crowded at all so it was really great. The botanical gardens was a pleasant surprise. No surprises. Overall was a lot of fun, was able to experience a lot of parts of the island including desert, herb garden, off roading and snorkeling. Overall was a little longer of a trip than advertised but it was fun. Ray and Trevor were knowledgeable and fun.

We had a nice historic ride through the coastline and inland. The guide knew everything and was really in too it. Took us snorkeling at the last stop was really nice!

Zuric was a great guide! He was very knowledgeable, kind and fun. We got a flat tire, it didn’t affect anything, he changed it quickly and we were on our way. There were many stops along the way with various sites to see in Curaçao, great tour!

Trevor was our guide. He was excellent, patient and knowledgeable. He took his time to explain everything and talked to us like real people. I highly recommend the tour to anyone that wants to see the side of Curaçao that locals do.

Great trip our tour guide jermine was very informative, fun, and helpful. All our stops were amazing and well worth our time. His driving was fun and his singing was wonderful. Would recommend to anyone wanting to see the country in a fun way!

Great trip! Germaine & Trevor provided a lot of history and info. We visited the botanical gardens, which doesn't look like much from the outside, but we learned a lot about homeopathic medicine and bought some great stuff at the store. We then went offroading to see the ocean, the wind turbines, and a tour of an ancient cave. First time live bats were flying around us! Then onto the surf shop and then snorkeling. Amazing views of the fish and what appears to be a bottomless drop off. Well worth the cost.

What an amazing excursion. Zerrick was a great driver and tour guide. We learned a lot from him about Curacao. The botanical garden was awesome. It’s was great to have water options and food available, great idea!

Germain was really friendly and knowledgeable about the island. The tour was excellent and we experienced different things. Germain offered kind assistance and encouragement throughout the walks especially the caves.

We ended our stay in Curacao with the jeep excursion, and to say the least, it was a memorable experience. Our guide, Germain, was very engaged and friendly. He also gave us some thrills on the island's rocky roads, to the point that we got a flat tire! But that only made the adventure even more fun, and the team quickly fixed the problem. The visit to the botanical garden was a big plus, especially thanks to our host, Sandra, who is the kind of person you only meet once in a lifetime! Zeric and Germaine gave us a fantastic tour, with detailed insight to many different aspects of Curacao. They were incredibly personal, and shared a playful vibe with us. We had an amazing time and highly recommend the experience!

Great tour guide, excellent off-road vehicle , a bit dangerous for kids when it gets really bumpy, maybe better harnessing is necessary to prevent injuries. Lovely botanical garden tour. Snorkeling is really the highlight for the kids in this tour so that part should be longer and optimized. Kids are really bumped if they are rushed to leave just when they are getting the hang of it.

Had so much fun, our tour guide Zerek was the best he was super helpful super nice made us feel safe and also made us feel like we were enjoying our experience to the max. The beach they took us to was beautiful went to a cave and that was very cool too

Enttire itinerary for this trip was well planned. The tour of Dinah Veeris' Botanical Garden, led by her son Shastri, was fun and had a lot of interesting information not just about the nutrition and medicinal use of plants, but how they are part of Curacao's traditions. Off-road safari leading to the Northeastern end of island was enjoyable. Jermaine (my apologies if I misspelt the name), our tour guide, took phenomenal photo(s) of all groups / solo traveler at this location. Perfect memory. We could not enter the nearby cave due to bees. Aloe Vera plantation stop is more an opportunity for folks to buy Curaloe products from their gift shop. (I did as I like their lotion and gel with 80 or 95% aloe and the price was the best you can get in Curacao.) Directeur's bay provided an opportunity to snorkel, or just walk along the cliff to enjoy the coastline and blue waters. What impressed me most was Jermaine's driving. On the way out of Directeur's Bay, there was an accident blocking the road. In Curacao, one does not move vehicles even an inch until police arrives. Jermaine managed to turn around the big vehicle in a very tight space so we could leave the area by an alternate route instead of having to wait there for next hour or however long it would have taken for the accident area to clear. Two thumbs up for this excellent tour.

Fun driver/guide, adventurous in the jeep. Botanical garden was better than expected due to the guides passion. A fun way to spend half a day

What a fun and flexible trip! Germain our guide was informative and flexible. I would highly recommend if in Curacao!!!

We started out the day visiting Dinah’s botanical gardens where we learned a lot about the vegetation on the island and some medicinal uses of those plants and herbs. Dinah’s son was extremely enthusiastic about all the garden has to offer. It was beautiful to see his mother's passion for the garden exhibited by him. From there we took a “roller coaster ride” to the caves where we hiked up and into them all along learning about the history dating back from the first Indians that settled on the island. We then enjoyed a quick refreshment at this cool hang out the surf shop. Directors cut was the last stop on our tour where we got to snorkel with some really Colorful fish. Best part of our trip was our guide Germaine. He was excellent and you can tell her really loves what he does. My mother was a bit scared climbing up the caves, But Germaine helped her as if she was his own mother. I thank him so much for that. Germaine really exudes the pride and passion that he has for his culture and I love that because the whole point of joining a tour like this is to better understand and experience that Curaçao life. It was nice to tour the island in a off road vehicle. The garden was interesting. We didn't get to see the caves because access was not available so we took a detour to the aloe vera plantation. There was not really much to see there other then the store that sold aloe vera products. I did buy the cooling gel. The views weren't breathtaking. They where nice to see but it wasn't breath taking. You don't get fed in this tour. You do stop at a place to buy drinks and food but the restaurant service is slow and I mean slowwwee. You won't have time to place an order and eat. There are rocks on the beach so bring water shoes or else you will be in pain. There weren't any fish to see. I saw more at my resort. What made this trip fun was the tour guy. Everything else was meh. The tour guy was awesome. This was not my first choice for an excursion but everything else was book. I still had a great time though!

Overall, the excursion was a lot of fun! Knowledgeable tour guide and great variety of stops along the way. The off roading took us to locations we wouldn’t have seen otherwise. The one part that fell short on our expectations was the snorkelling. There wasn’t enough snorkel gear for everyone (just goggles, not enough snorkels and even fewer flippers). This part of the experience was 30 minutes (maximum) out of the 4 hours. My suggestion - maybe don’t call it Safari tour and snorkel, as that makes it sound like the excursion would be very much about both. All that aside, the botanical garden, aloe vera farm and off roading was awesome! We’d recommend doing this tour, and a tour that focuses more on snorkelling.

This tour was fantastic. So interesting snd fun. Germain was out tour guide and driver and he was wonderful. We had two jeeps and I think the other tour guide was Howard (&). Both were so interesting and knowledgeable and conducted a not to miss tour.

A do not miss tour. My wife and I some friends went on this tour and were able to experience the culture and see breathtaking views in Curacao. We visited herb garden, hike through some local caves, saw rock cliffs with water crashing on the rocks and snorkeled at isolated beach, went off roading in a jeep, visited the salt flats and flamingos In their natural habitat. Absolutely amazing. Howard the guide was Superb and was fun to hang out with for half a day. Do not miss the opportunity to take this tour. Well worth the cost!

I had the best time during this half-day tour. We traveled to Tugboat Beach where the water and view was amazing. I did not want to leave the water. We were served drinks and had a delicious barbecue lunch grilled by our boat crew. We traveled to another area to snorkel where I also saw all kinds of fish and wonderful views. This was one of the best tours I have taken during my solo travel, and I hope I get to experience again.

Not value for money. Wast of time. Don’t understand why the guide constantly asked for a tips. He did nothing except his job.

These excursions was so much fun and we learn a lot about curaçao, I do recommend to wear water shoes or sneakers.

Howard was our tour guide and he was fantastic. We learned a lot about Curacao's history and plant life, we visited a cave, and we had a great time snorkelling at Director's Bay. I would not hesitate to recommend this tour.

We had such a fun time doing this excursion. It was a combination of getting to know more about Curaçao and it's history and fun time. We had such a fun and nice guide called Germaine, he informed us about everything so well and he was so nice! Thank you Germaine for making this day unforgettable. We would recommend this activity to everyone!

This was so fun! Four hours was just long enough! We climbed a fort and experienced the spray of the see on the south East rocky coast! It was spectacular! Howard was amazing guide and hilarious!! We all had a blast and the secluded beach at the end of the tour was gorgeous! I highly recommend!

At Marriott hotel vwhetevthey had a place to pick tours of island. Tuesday only day so we took this off road adventure. Very bumpy at times had to hang on as bum bounced off seat but just unbelievable to see the island this way. Guide Sylivvan who spoke 4 languages and very knowledgeable incredible. Unfortunately when climbing lava rock hill to cave slipped and. badly ripped 10 inches right leg. Yuck. Sylivvan ran down hill got first aid kite and was a trooper with all blood etc, very nasty cut to bone but 2 weeks later home in Canada all good, no infection and just waiting to heal. Just an amazing person . Did not go swimming but husband did as did other snorkelling and they loved it, just a perfect day to see nature at its best

Today we did a jeep & snorkel adventure with Curacao activities and it was such a great experience! The fun starts with the jeep that gives you a true safari feeling. Howard, our guide for the day, was fantastic. He has so much knowledge about the island and explains everything really well, next to that he is a super funny guy and really made us laugh during the whole tour. We have been to the island many times before but with the tour we’ve seen places we’ve never been before as they are not accessible with normal vehicles. We went off road which gives you a good thrill and excitement. We made a pit stop at one of the boka’s, which is always nice to experience. After we climbed on the top of a cave to have a beautiful view of the island and ended at Directors Bay to go snorkling. The tour lasted for about 4 hours and was perfect if you’re not into full day tours. We brought our 6-year old and he thought it was fantastic, the tour and Howard are really child friendly! Thank you Curacao Activities for a great experience, it will not be our last one!

We had a great tour with Sylvian! Saw a ton of the east and northeast island with cool caves and crashing waves! We snorkeled in Tugboat bay after a trip to the aloe Vera plantation. He was knowledgeable about the area and fun, never felt rushed. Pick up and drop off at our hotel, very convenient! Highly recommend!

We can highly recommend going on the east tour trip! Our guide, Sylvian, had great stories and information about the island and was an excellent driver. He kindly offered to take photos of us and we received a snack and water during the trip. We had a great day, thank you!
