No fish, very disappointed. The guide was nice friendly and knowledgeable but when you pay to see fish, it was extremely disappointing. He should have checked to see first and perhaps bring us somewhere else.
Super fun, water cold at first… but fun once you get in! Plenty of fish to see and water super clear.They even feed the fish around yoh so you’ll get great pics.
Ok. Some unexpected upcharges with photo/video ops marketed as “cash only” not advertised and I wasn’t prepared for: therefore missed. Funny how I could pay for the excursion by card though. After reading other reviews that indicated people never received the pics, I’m glad I didn’t purchase any. The transport van was on its last leg. The experience itself was ok. I got to feed fish and the instructor was patient. I was a group of one and it was likely I spent more time filling out forms than underwater.
We had a great time doing this! The driver who picked us up from our resort was so kind and gave us an additional tour along with history of the area. Our guide, Miguel was awesome. He was so patient and kind as we acclimated to the new experience. He gave several tips and made sure we both had a great experience! Would definitely recommend this and would do it again! Oh, but what an experience. I tried scuba diving a few years ago and love it, but then my friend recommended to try Snuba cause it’s easier and I have no regrets. If you’re a sea lover like myself, you’ll have the best experience. The team here is so patient and professional, they really make sure you’re comfortable and adjust to your pace, constantly checking if you’re okay. And the variety of sea life?!! I had an afternoon appointment when there weren’t that many people and immediately upon our dive we saw sea turtles. So happy I did this experience, worth so much more!
It was an amazing time! We were picked up at the Cruise terminal and straight to the SNUBA location! Got fitted for equipment and had our briefing. A little in water practice and off we went! Our 2 instructors took is on a guided tour along the reef! The views and fish were amazing! We never felt rushed and felt like they tailored the experience to us! In my opinion, the best way to see the reef without being SCUBA certified Highly recommend this team and location!!
This excursion was paid for and our ship did dock in port timely. Shortly after arrival the tour operator messaged and explained that due to the rough ocean they would cancel the tour and a refund would be processed. We did receive the refund as they said. Appreciate they communicating and hopefully we'll have an opportunity to do this another visit.
10/10 recommend! You won’t be disappointed!!! We booked this Snuba tour through Viator and it exceeded expectations. Despite only having snorkeled before, transitioning to Snuba felt seamless and surprisingly comfortable. Entering directly from the beach made the experience accessible, especially for beginners, and Miguel provided thorough instruction, clear communication, and a calm presence throughout. Once underwater, visibility was outstanding!! Crystal-clear conditions with abundant fish and marine life. I never felt rushed or uneasy, and Miguel checked in frequently to ensure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. After snorkeling at other ports later in our cruise, this was easily the standout excursion of our trip. Snuba offers that perfect “step beyond snorkeling” without the full commitment of diving, and Miguel delivers it exceptionally well. Highly recommend for both first-timers and experienced snorkelers looking for something more immersive. PS- Our pictures don’t do it justice!
Definitely a must do while visiting. I’m not a big fan of snorkeling, but this is a combination of snorkeling and scuba diving. Had such a blast!! Unable to take pix under water, and tour guide didn’t provide any.
Miguel is an amazing guide and explained the process very well before we entered the water. He stuck with us throughout the experience and went at our pace since my wife and I had never done anything like this before. He even took my GoPro for a few minutes and got some nice photos underwater of us and just made the whole experience beyond amazing.
So exciting. Awesome excursion with fantastic guide Demetri. I came dressed to swim with a long sleeve rash guard shirt. I brought a towel, change of clothes and tip money. You must not have any health issues, as your underwater for approx 20min. You are given a safety briefing and a short amount of time to get acclimated to being under water. If you can snorkel with head down completely, without raising it, for an extended time, you can do this. You must be able to relax and breathe easy/normally while under water. Last, you must be able to follow simple directions. They have outdoor rinse off showers and small lockers for valuables. Pictures taken were excellent. Excursion was the best. Guide and Staff so professional. Just do it. Recommend
We cannot recommend this enough. This was probably one of the best things we did the entire trip, we got to see so much with our awesome guide. He made sure to point out interesting fish/shells/coral to make sure we didn't miss anything as we swam past. He also continually checked up on us to make sure our ears had popped and we were calm and enjoying ourselves.
Miguel was a fantastic instructor for the SNUBA experience. I would do this tour again! We might even go again this vacation.
It was our favorite thing we did in Curacao. I would have gone multiple times if it was offered in different locations. Such a great upgrade from snorkeling but way easier than diving. So nice to not have to spend days trying to get Scuba certified. Snuba is way easier! This was so fun! Our dive guide was so nice and took so many great pictures and videos for us!
One of the best experiences I've had in the water! I'm not a fan of snorkeling and didn't want to have a tank on my back. Snuba is the best of both worlds because you can breathe underwater and go beyond shallow areas without having to carry a tank of air. Definitely prepare yourself for breathing under water if this is your first time. You also should be a pretty decent swimmer (at least intermediate) because you will get a workout. Miguel was my instructor and he was the best! He kept me calm and provided a safe space for me to be in the water. I honestly had the best time and we saw so many fish, eel, and other cool sites. Loved every moment of this experience and I hope to do this again!
The staff were very friendly and just all around great!!! My kids had a wonderful time. We would definitely go back to Snuba again
The "shop" you go to isn't much & doesn't look too great & getting into the water is across rocks, but the service is great. They took care of us very well. One friend started to panic at being underwater, but they helped her & she was able to complete the whole dive. The area that you do dive was exceptional as well!
Overall experience was great. Guides were very patient and helped ease some early anxiety. Pick up process from the cruise terminal could have been clearer- no details on confirmation email about where to meet driver.
Went with wife, first time for her. Miguel our instructor was great. Super patient and he took us to great spots to see amazing fish.
What an amazing adventure. Due to medical issues for one us this replaced scuba diving and wow what a great alternative.
We had a great time exploring the underwater environment. It was just the 2 of us and a guide, who brought fish food and pointed out the most interesting bits. We even saw a lionfish! If you enjoy snorkeling or free diving and would like to go a bit deeper but are intimidated by scuba, this is a great experience.
My husband and I had a wonderful time at Snuba. Our guide Miguel was such a pro - he clearly knows his stuff and loves the ocean. His calm, fun demeanor put us at ease and made the experience A+. The animal life and views under water were magnificent, and we really enjoyed seeing the coral reef. Highly recommended!!
Great tour with my family. They really gave attention to the people that never dove before. Great pics and videos they sent after the dive on dropbox. That meant a lot to us.
It was the best experience we had on the island. Our Guide was Miguel, not only explained everything in a very detailed and easy to understand way, but it was also very friendly and fun. We would do it again because, not only were we impressed with the variety of fish and corals that we saw but for the safety that Miguel provided us. It was our first time doing diving and the truth is that we had a great time. We recommend to make the experience to those people who have some knowledge of swimming because if not it is difficult to enjoy it They also have photography service that is really worth paying for, as you dropbox a lot of photos and videos.
