If you want a dated property, on a beautiful beach, with a room that air conditioning may or may not work, possibly no hot water, and roaches, this is the resort for you! The only reason this review gets 2 stars is because Amanda and the rest of the staff were very pleasant and helped us out in the best way they could! Amanda deserves a long, paid vacation!!!! She rocks!!!!! I read some of the reviews before the trip. I'm thinking, can it really be that bad?! Well, yes it is!! I was completely done when I saw a roach crawl out from the bread basket at the dinner buffet. That was on the first night! Saw another one crawling across the floor at breakfast on the last day. I notified the manager on the first roach sighting. He repeatedly apologized as if that would help. There is clearly a pest control issue that is not being addressed!!!! I really expected more from a Hyatt brand hotel!!!! Looking forward to visiting Curaçao again but with better accommodations at another resort!

First it is not a 5star resort, however, the resort was clean but outdated. The buffet was consistently good food and service. The hibachi restaurant was amazing food, drink service was a little slow. The Italian restaurant was mediocre. The male bartenders were not impressive, and didn’t want to do there jobs even when tips were left. Kenneth and the female bartenders were friendly and awesome to deal with. Amanda in guest services was amazing!!! She we t above and beyond to make our stay amazing!! The beach entrance is rocky, but once in the sand is great and the water is beautiful!!! Great snorkeling experience right in front of the resort!!!
We had an amazing time at this resort. It’s smaller than what we’re used to, but still great. The beach was perfect! The staff were exceptional but I must give an extra shoutout and thank you to Amanda!!! She made sure our stay was superb and checked in on us daily. She was exceptional! Shoutout to the lovely ladies at the bar and coffee spot too! Great personalities and lovely! The guys were great too and the entertainment had us dancing daily! My finance proposed and the private dinner on the beach was perfect and the Lobster meal was absolutely delicious (big portions). We will definitely be back!!
Had a most wonderful vacation at this resort for the past 7 days... It's is an older resort by what they lack in modern architecture they make up for in service!! Kenneth at the sun club pool bar was incredible and made the perfect drinks each and every time ... Fabiola was another shining star offering a smile with every plate served!! The beach is absolutely beautiful and water a stunning turquoise
I stayed at the resort January 22-29 room 2227. The room was big and spacious however the view was just some trees. Building number 2 is outdated the other buildings are renovated, they had rooms right on beach I peaked in they were big and spacious should i have taken those. The beach is beautiful bring your snorkelling items so much to see by the rocks! I really enjoyed the variety of the food, and the quality of fruits and vegetables were exceptional , tasty and fresh daily watermelon, cantaloupe, passion fry, banana, pineapple . The Italian restaurant was delicious i had it twice the parmagiana chicken and mariscos pasta were delicious , the Japanese was also very good shrimp , beef, chicken, and porc. I tried the snack restaurant and the hamburger, the chicken fajitas the nachos were all delicious and well flavoured. I really have to say the food was delicious. There is also an ice cream place with daily 3 flavours and also milkshakes from 4-5 i loved it. Coco cafe has all types of coffee my favourite was the cappuccino made by Anna Marie she really adapts it to your liking. Demi at the buffet is such a joyful young lady, smiling, constantly asking clients if they need anything. Peter is so attentive and always listening to clients, and the young gentleman at the ice cream shop (he is from st martin i forgot his name) has excellent customer service skills. I would definitely come back and considering in November however definitely not in building 2.
