Help your guide haunt this little ginnel, and bring more spirits to the wonderful Ship Inn.

Very entertaining and friendly tour guide. We had a blast and learned a lot of very scary stories about leeds.
My 9 year old son came with me and really enjoyed it.
This was the first time seeing the ghost tour in Leeds, and I enjoyed every second of it! Our tour guide, Stromulus was absolutely fantastic! He played beautiful melody with his ukulele and made everyone feel welcomed to his guide. If it wasn’t for the ghost tour I wouldn’t have learnt interesting facts about Leeds. It is definitely worth an hour of your time in the evening.
Our ghostly guide Stromulus and his trusted ukulele took us on a most entertaining tour of the haunted locations of central Leeds. Plenty of laughs and humorous segues, mixed with a few bumps and screams.
can't believe we met a real ghost 10/10
Great tour, really interesting and the guide made it fun, great way to get to know a different side of leeds
A fun hour with a very entertaining guide walking us through the haunts of Leeds city centre.
Very enoyable. The host made this most entertaining as we followed him and his ukulele!. Had a few strange looks from passers by, but that was part of the fun. We wound in and out of side streets we would never have gone down, and saw the nooks of Leeds centre and interesting pubs to visit later. Well worth the money.
It was an absolute amazing experience. Our ghost STROMULUS was very informative about his fellow ghosts and showed me a new Leeds. I would definitely recommend other people to do this once.
I had a really good time on the Leeds Ghost Walk. I'd definitely recommend this tour and would definitely go again!
Great tour with Lord Bartholomew, great stories, well researched and lots of humour, thanks for a great tour
We went on the Leeds ghost walk on Saturday 15 th August at 6:30....very interesting and stories well told by the very charismatic tour guide. Would highly recommend!
absolutely brilliant time had in leeds on this tour ! i moved here recently and wanted to see more of the city in a fun way so, as a very big believer in ghosts and all things spooky, we had decided last minute to join the tour on a friday evening through tripadvisor, and although we doubted the price at first, we definitely thought it was worth it by the end. our host was so knowledgeable and not only talked about the spooky parts of the city but also the history too. he was so fun listen to and very charismatic, also i would like to add he had a wonderful singing voice !!! the entire tour lasted an hour and was accessible ( i use a wheeled walker ) but very cobbley roads so expect that - it's the beauty of the city nothing to do with the tour itself ! we left the tour with so much new information and we have new places to visit related to the tour now as well for more information and more deep dives into leeds' ghosts HIGHLY recommended if you love history, ghosts, and overall it was very interesting and fun, full of humour and laughs, a nice and unique way to learn about the city and it's spooky past !
We had a great tour with our Guide Katharina Schrecknacht, she was very knowledgeable and delivered the facts, myths and jokes confidently and entertaining (Yes, some of the jokes are a bit corny, but that's part of the reason to go on these sort of tours). The tour is a good mix of history and myths and gives a great inside into Leeds' folklore of Ghosts. We had a very enjoyable evening and would highly recommend this tour.
The ghost tour was very entertaining but not scary, rather funny. We had a lot of fun.
We had a fantastic tour of Leeds! Our guide struck the perfect balance between humour and history, making the experience both entertaining and informative. The stories about the city's past were fascinating and brought Leeds to life in a way that you wouldn't get from simply walking around on your own. The guide's wit kept everyone engaged, and the tour was full of interesting facts and memorable anecdotes. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to discover Leeds in a fun, engaging, and insightful way.
Overall, we were very happy with the Leeds Ghost Tour. We would say it’s a bit pricey for what it is but not unreasonable. We would have liked a bit more in depth talk about ghost stories and the history however we did get a lot of information. The guide was very friendly and chatty and obviously knew a lot.
George was very knowledgeable about the tour and made the experience so much better! Definitely recommend going with him.
Funny and informative. Will be thinking of these tales when I go into Leeds City centre from now on!
This was a fascinating tour around Leeds city centre, the guide was very knowledgeable and it showed a different side to Leeds that I’d never seen before! Highly recommended
Daisy was really helpful with the booking even though she was abroad. As for the big bloke tour guide 😃 he was ok 😁😁 A great hour or so with a knowledgable guide. And found a few out of the way pubs im going to visit tomorrow
I've enjoyed ghost tours in other cities and lamented not having one for my home city of Leeds, and then saw this and hopes were high! And we weren't disappointed! Fun, funny, genuinely informative and - of course - spooooooky. I learnt loads and loved being the spooky, creepy vibes as well. :-)
Really enjoyed the ghost tour of Leeds. It was a great balance of dad jokes, ghostly tales and local history executed magically. We would highly recommend if you're looking for something a bit different in this bustling city.
Leeds has a ghost tour ! Rejoice! Guided by the diminutive but powerful Bartholomew Catch in full "ghostly" character. Our party was led around some familiar Leeds landmarks but with added ghostly facts. Jokes and puns were warmly received as we learnt about the darker side of the city. Well paced and interesting, thank you Lord Catch.
From the start. He was giving out riddles to the 16 of us. A very nice goulish history of Leeds. Value for money. We walked from place to place around Leeds. Around 1hr long. We would recommend the experience. Best for everyone 😉.
Could not recommend this enough! Lord Catch was a phenomenal guide: knowledgeable, charismatic, hilarious, and warm. I have lived in Leeds for several years and learnt new facts about even my own local pub!!! As someone who loves histories and mysteries this was the perfect experience. Loads of fun for any age, ideal duration of time, and a good mix of stories. Just want to shout out Lord Catch again: despite a minor setback when some of Leeds’ “finest” stole his hat, he remained every bit as cheerful and engaging. A true professional and a real gem. Never stop sharing your knowledge and talent with the world, Lord Catch!!!
What an enjoyable experience. I was enthralled from start to finish. Lord Catch certainly made it an entertaining evening with humour & knowledge of Leeds. I felt as though I had stepped back in time. I would definitely recommend.
Lord Catch was full of character, from his clothes to his mannerisms. A fun and informative tour of some sinister areas of old Leeds. Price good, and the hour was just right length of time.
Great fun, took us to parts of Leeds we wouldn't normally see, cool stories, enjoyed the experience, thanks
Very interesting and entertaining
We went on this while on a trip to Leeds. It was a Very enjoyable experience. The guy that hosted was very entertaining and informative his delivery of the tour was very funny. The tour took us round to places in Leeds we would not have gone to. I would book again.
We had a 9 year olds’ birthday celebration ‘ghost hunt’. Absolutely fabulous, comical, friendly and accommodating people; we were all really entertained and comfortable, and Daisy and Lord Bartholomew-Catch added personal elements to make it special.
Fantastic tour for a (children's) birthday party! The tour was engaging for the kids and adults alike, with several child friendly touches to really make it a special evening for the birthday boy. Great cake and 'emotional support ghosts' were lovely extras we opted for. I would highly recommend the tour for adults and young ones alike!
I had a fantastic time on the evening Leeds ghost tour led by the wonderfully theatrical Lord Bartholomew. The tour operators stayed in character throughout, which added just the right mix of whimsy and suspense and really brought the stories to life. Even as a local, I learned so much about my hometown fascinating history and eerie details about Leeds that I’d never known before. The ghost stories were gripping and the whole experience felt immersive and thoughtfully put together. I left thoroughly entertained and genuinely wanting more. Highly recommended for locals and visitors alike.
I really enjoyed the ghost walk around Leeds. My husband and son didn’t fancy it so I joined the group on my own and felt perfectly safe with the guide and fellow participants. Lots of fab stories and a bit of humour thrown it. We had a good variety of different tales and the length of the tour was just right! Good value for money. Really enjoyed it, would totally recommend it for all those who love all things ghosts & hauntings!
Had a great time listening to the different ghost stories. Was fun to walk some of the streets we’ve never gone through before and learn more about the history of Leeds. Lord bartholomew was very confident and made us chuckle
Lovely way to explore Leeds. Despite the cold weather, our ghost advisor braved or and showed us some of the more haunted spots of Leeds. Spooky...
My friend and I, starting out our time in Leeds, had the opportunity to take this tour. A very fun way to get acquainted with a new city. Lord Catch was very entertaining and engaged with the material of the tour! We learned many fun and interesting things about the city and some really spooky lore! I would absolutely recommend this tour or any other one hosted by the Yorkshire Ghost Tours! I’ve been to the Otley one as well, and it’s amazing! The tours are immersive, a lot of fun, and hosted by gracious and talented people who weave groups of strangers together for an hour with lots of ghostly fun!👻🤍
We had a great and entertaining evening with Katharina Schrecknacht, a very knowledgable guide into the haunted history of Leeds. The stories were very interesting , light-hearted and diverse, telling of love, murders, accidental death's as well as suicides? The tour offers a great mixture of history and legend as well as background knowledge of Leeds and its development. We had a wonderful time and can highly recommend the experience.
This was the worst ghost tour I’ve ever been on. Our guide was awkward, unconfident and kept trying to be funny with really awkward cringy jokes. It wasn’t as ghost tour - just a tour about different murders. Doing a ghost tour around Leeds city means drunk people are constantly getting involved and there was zero atmosphere. Would not recommend
We joined Katharina Shreknacht on her ghostly tour of Leeds. It was a freezing winter’s evening made all the more chilling with her gruesome tales and excellent historical knowledge! Katharina was a fabulous storyteller and did a wonderful job of keeping the group together. This was a brilliant activity for a cold seasonal night and a great way to embrace the city of Leeds!
Wonderful and funny tour guide, engaging stories of hitherto unknown histories of Leeds and great customer service from the company. Would highly recommend!
Lord Bartholomew was an amazing guide, humorous and engaging. The tour was the perfect length and gave us a new perspective of Leeds. The crowd size was great - big enough to feel part of something without struggling to keep up/feeling detached from the guide.
Lord Bartholomew was great. Friendly and funny we all really enjoyed the tour. Was a bit spooky and some interesting history. We had a range of ages in our group and everybody enjoyed the evening. Thank you.
amazing 1 hour tour of Leeds, really worth the money, paid about £40 for 3 people. we learned so much and our ghostly guide was a great laugh. thank you very much
Awesome guide, very theatrical complete with rambunctious tales, riddles and jokes while roaming about town. Really enjoyed it, great storytelling with a delightful vernacular and impressive stage presence with a witty repartee and managing to keep our mixed group of adults, children and vloggers (?) entertained. Enjoyed both the tales tales and the telling.
The stories are captivating and very well delivered. Lord Bartholomew Catch has been a Leeds local for a couple of centuries and knows all about its hauntings, history, and cursed cobblestones.
A very enjoyable and informative hour learning about some notable ghost stories in the historic city of Leeds. Lord Bartholemew Catch was a wonderful and engaging guide!
Brilliant tour, the guide was excellent, funny and engaging. Granddaughter loved it. He dealt with people watching, with ease and kept character. Great fun well worth it.
